^__^ Neenee, Armony-chan... I have a question for you, though...
Seeing as ((Spoiler for the PS2 Game! Highlight it if you want to read it...)) Armony died at the end of the game... how do you plan on roleplaying her? I mentioned that there was someone planning on playing Armony to my older sister (Riza-san), and we were both kind of confused... care to enlighten us? 3nodding

So here's what I had planned...
So the Philosopher's Catalyst is all that keeps Armony alive, basically. It "dies", and so does she. Well -- what if there was a way to counteract the Catalyst? Neutralize it, in a way.
Feel free to get upset with me at any time, and say how I'm wrong. I'm open to it... actually, I was hoping that perhaps someone might be able to help me with this. I wasn't pleased with the ending of the game... 'course, I'm a cheesy "Happily Ever After" kind of person. ...which makes me wonder why I liked FullMetal Alchemist so much... Either way, I wasn't happy with it... so I created my own sort of... alternate ending.
And on with my explaination...
So, say that when Professor Wilhelm went to obliterate himself and the Philosohper's Catalyst -- he instead, neutralized the power of the Catalyst.
So we are taken back to the idea that if the Catalyst "dies", so does Armony. Well... the Catalyst didn't necessarily have to die. Just cease to have the same functions as before. So I thought it would -- in turn -- dissolve Armony's memories. So she has no recollection of what happened, at all. She knows her name, and that's it. All she can remember, is that for some reason she has a burning desire to learn and excell in the field of Alchemy -- even though she isn't very good at it.
So how does she get tied in with the rest of the rpg, you ask? I'm not sure, really. I was thinking of just sticking her in Central -- maybe she was staying there in hopes of finding someone who was willing to teach her alchemy? I'm not sure. Like I said, I'm open to suggestions.
Anyway...
This is where I expect many flames. I've taken a "canon" character of sorts, and warped her completely to make her more of an original character of my own. And I agree -- that's not a good thing to do. So if anyone disagrees with my idea, an/or doesn't want me as part of the rpg, I understand. I just thought I'd try. sweatdrop
Thoughts? Comments? Flames? I'm all ears. I just want to know what people think, really. neutral So let me know?

Hmm, sousou, Armony-chan. I think I understand what you're trying to say. -- I'm fine with it, Riza-san's a bit of a stickler for stuff like that, though. I guess we'll see what she has to say, nee? X3

i think it's a good idea, hun... i say go for it. if nobody else has any objections, i say she's shown a lot more initiative with creating her character than most have. even tho armony's a pre-existing character, to come up with an explanation like that...i must say i'm impressed.
