"Thank you very much!" Lyu waited as Sora walked off, then threw herself on the bed, realizing it was her first time conciously having a room to stay in since she's lost her family.

Kamiss walked to the kitchen. He started getting some pans down, thinking about the shadows. He shuddered remembering his own had given him his scars. Then he realized Lyu's gem was still in his collar. He took it out and walked up to give it to her. "Here." he said, and plopped it into her hand.

"Thank you. I'm so glad it helped you against the shadows. I was given it by a mystic, and he told me I would know what to do with it when the time came. I knew that it could be your salvation. That sounds so strange..." Her eyes left Sora's and drifted to the open window. She had left the waking world, and Sora would not be able to get a word out of her for a while. Though she knew not when these black-outs would happen or why, they were frequent.

Seeing her blank look, Sora went back down and started preparing the dinner.

Unseeing eyes on the dancing leaves out her window, Lyu's mind ran through everything in her head. It thought about the shadows, Sora, home, her family, everything she could remember of her life. It was like a scan, making sure evrything was there.

Kamiss's neck suddenly burned, he started twitching, then shook it off. His eyes widened and his features pulled into a scared grimace. "That's never happened before." He said, then tried to ignore what happened. ((WOOT THIS IS MY 2200th POST))

Snapping out of her reverie and wondering where Sora had gone, Lyu started downstairs. She reached the bottom in time to hear her host talking to himself. "Something wrong?" She asked.

"My neck burned and I had a spasm." Kamiss muttered. He took the pasta out of the pot and put some sauce on it. He then sprinkled cheese on it.

Sora smiled at the compliment. He sat down and started eating. What the hell was that thing with my neck? he thought. Sora was worried but didnt show it.

Tilting her head to the side slightly, Lyu enquired silently whether she could eat as well. She'd seen no hospitality previos to this encounter.
