Daisuke just realized that he had, indeed, goofed.

"Idiot." The voice in his head was not his own.

"I.. I am not..." Daisuke replied to the voice mentally, even though he knew he was. He looked externally disheartened now.

Sunatskei pounced onto the ground after Tetsu's arrival, landing at the woman's feet. "Tetsu! We were just talkin' about ya, and I was wondering if you had the hots for Da--Mmerph!" The ferret was cut off by Daisuke snatching up the little critter. "Shut up, will you?" Daisuke didn't even notice that his face was somewhat flushed.

"Ignore him." Daisuke added, although the command was a bit superfluous. Tetsu would've probably acted like the ferret didn't even exist. "But yeah, glad I f--... you found me. I was about to start looking for you. Ready to go, then, I guess..." Daisuke looked at Delta. "Well, I suppose this is where we part ways, although..." The male assassin thought for a moment. "Wouldn't it make more sense to just stop into the inn in Ozette until the morning? I mean, that way we'd have a whole day to hike through the forest, instead of a few hours left of daylight. It isn't exactly the shortest walk, y'know." Daisuke said in a matter-of-fact manner. It probably would just get him in trouble, though...

Delta paused for a moment, keeping relative silence as Tetsu made her rather grand entrance in. Commanding air indeed. He simply switched his role to that of observer while hte other two talked, and supressed a smile as he could recognize the stage of life they were going through. It was fact, that with enough exposure to a member of the opposite gender, sooner or later affections would grow. Both of these two slightly younger than him, he was allowed a sage little chuckle as he watched their antics. He had a feeling things would be budding sooner than later.

He didn't seem all too put out by the new role of observer, and instead seemed more at ease by it. He was aware of the strange serpantine animal that accompanied the girl now, and observed it from the corner of his eye. Interesting. He hadn't seen something like that before.

Watching the little ferret with an amused expression, Delta heeded Daisuke's words, but for now let them slide on by. The little fur ball was just too endearing. Maybe that would be it's downfall? Giving a little nod to Sunatskei in gratefulk acknowledgement that he had been alerted hit ail was better, he wasn't all too sure the ferret intercepted the small motion and hoped that he wouldn't be offended.

Starting slightly with a small arch of the brow as Daisuke came up with the idea of staying at an inn over in Ozette, Delta thought for a moment before saying anything.

"If you'd like, you two could stay at my house for the night. I've a spare bed room that's big enough to easily accomodate two people in it, and enough food to go around. I've been told I'm a fair cook as well."

He added as an after thought, not really all too concerned with their adventure. After all, he had no part in it. So why worry? They seemed too stressed out about it to talk about it at leisure.

"A key? Do you have an idea as to what it might look like, or where we could find it?" Kistre asked curiously, peeking out from behind him to look at the temple and it's intricate designs inside. She had been told each temple had been constructed uniquely in it's own sence, and she had heard as well that they were all things of beauty. From what she could tell so far, everything she had been told had been right.

Sigma shrugged, seemingly in a silent responce to Kistre's question. It was a small movement, one of which was hardly noticeable. Lei turned lui back to them and started to search around, taking a couple steps and surveying the area before deciding to venture off to one of the extensions of the room they were currently in, revealing a gloved hand that traced delicately the arches of the doorways.

"Well, I suppose it would do no good simply standing around and pondering it. I suggest that we explore the other two passageways. However, this Temple seems to be built upon a circular design. I'd imagine that either passage would lead us to the same chamber." Arkin suggested.

"But I suppose there is only one way to find out, and that is to take a look at our surroundings. Pondering over this door further wouldn't be worth anything, so I propose we come upon a descision on which way to head and be on with it. But I still don't think it'll make a difference..." Arkin looked back and forth at each passage as he walked back into the circular, main chamber.

He heard strange, but quieted noises from either side. Whatever lay there, it certainly wasn't human or Desian, and obviously whatever was in the passages had not noticed the scents of those within the main chamber and main hall.

"I believe either way, we'll have company, as well." Arkin mused with a slight smirk. This would be entertaining indeed.

Tetsu looked down at the ferret, but otherwise ignored it. It wasn't as if she hadn't heard its thoughts on her feelings for Daisuke before or anything.

As if.

She glanced back up to Daisuke as he silenced the summon spirit, noting the flush on his face, along with his expression. She, frankly, didn't care whether or not he liked her. One way or the other, she wasn't exactly going crazy over him. She didn't even take the enormous opportunity to tease.

Tetsu considered his request to stay at the inn. She didn't want their only progress to be Ozette... and if all went well, the two would probably be able to exit the forest before nightfall anyway. But the chances of not running into anymore sentient plants, zombies, or various other violent creatures was very low. And the Gald...

Delta then offered his house.

"... All right. If you don't mind, Daisuke."

She shrugged. She didn't see anything seriously wrong with it... sure, she'd have to share a room with Daisuke, but they'd be travelling together for a while anyway. She'd be staying in a stranger's home, but it was worth saving the Gald... and it wasn't as if she'd ever see him again, or anything.

"I appreciate your offer."

"Uh, ..." Daisuke went silent for a moment, considering. "I suppose you wouldn't offer if you felt we were intruding... so... I suppose it'd be alright." Daisuke scratched his head. "Thanks, Delta." He said with a nod.

"I wonder what Delta's house is like." Sunatskei said, excitedly. "Do you have shiny things in your house, Delta? Daisuke's house had shiny things in it. Like his dad's sword. He was crazy about that sword, but then again so was I. It was soooooooo shiny." Sunatskei almost seemed to ooze over the memories of the sword. "Sooo shiny..." The ferret repeated, going off in a daze.

Daisuke gave a heavy sigh. "If you do, I reccomend you hide them, or else you might not see them again."

It was fortunate that they were behind the wards surrounding Ozette, or else monsters would've flocked to the constant, dazed repetition of "Soooooo shiny..."
