actually, I found it on YouTube in english fairly easily.(and by that, I mean the 4 you get at the end of Redemption)
of course, it was slightly easier to find it in Japanese, but still.

oh, not the video version?
I suspect the comic version would be a lot harder to find.
and I didn't find anything on character creation on the descriptions of either versions of "The World" on .hack Wiki.

on another note, what do you think Kite would name his character if Kite were not an option?
蒼炎のカイト is Kite of the Azure Flames in Japanese, but which word for 'Flames' is being used?
