Teddy, being the polite person he was, snatched the paper before it could be handed. Digging through his tote, he found one of those obnoxious pens with a big fluffy thing at the end. He scribbled down his own number, wrote Liam's on his hand, and finally gave it to Ridley.
Unable to sense sarcasm, Teddy took Liam's comment seriously, wrapping a arm around his. " Go have fun Ridley, while me and....uhhh....what's your name? "
Teddy looked up at Liam, giving him a wide grin. Teddy wasn't allowing it to end so quickly.

Ridley grinned at Liam but inwardly wished that he was Teddy at that moment. Relieved when he offered his number, he reached out to take the paper and blinked when Teddy snatched it beyond his reach. He laughed at the boy's gall, because otherwise he might punch him, and tucked away the paper when he handed it over to him.
"All right, all right. Maybe I can stay for dessert. I'm still kinda hungry," Ridley sat down again, unwilling to abandon Liam with the boisterous Teddy.

Liam said nothing as the paper was snatched from his hand, his irritation only shown by the flat expression his face took on. Glancing down at his arm, which was currently enveloped in Teddy's, then back up at the brunette, Liam continued to make the face, a hint of sarcasm creeping into his gaze.
"Liam." he offered with a hint of a bite. He was about to say more (and perhaps try to pry Teddy's arm off of his) when he heard Ridley speak up, and his eyes drifted back to the other boy. Sensing his defeat, he half snorted, smirking at Teddy and waving the arm Teddy did have in the direction of the booth.
"Ok, you got what you wanted, now leggo of my arm!"
And secretly Liam praised Teddy, not displeased at the result.

Teddy continued to smile, pleased with how everything turned out. The teenager managed to make them stick around! Which meant he could spend the day with two very attractive guys. This was better than hanging out with Shelly, or Steph. They lacked in many many MANY ways.
" I'll be passing on the desert though. I can't risk gaining any weight. "
Teddy pulled Liam along with him, and plopped right down. His smile never fading.

Ridley rolled his eyes, waiting for the waitress to reappear so he could order some pie. "You sound like a girl," he smirked at Teddy, then considered the possibility that that was exactly what Teddy was going for. "You have nothing to worry about," he amended, glancing at Liam.
"You'll join me for dessert, won't you? You barely ate any lunch," Ridley implored the pink-haired healer.

"Ack!" Liam abruptly plopped into the chair, giving Teddy a look before sighing. Well. He certainly was an interesting character. Kinda cute though. In more ways than one. Patting the boy on the head, Liam couldn't help but smirk, glancing over at Ridley and grinning, stroking the arm linked with his own for a moment.
"Think they have any strawberry icecream?" he asked Ridley, licking his lips, "I'll do anything for strawberry icecream..."

Teddy withdrew his arm, feeling a bit awkward. Then started to chew on a piece of lettuce that was too big to stuff in his mouth. Why didn't they rip it before they served it? Made his life difficult.
" Ice cream is fun! " Teddy simply said after he swallowed his food. The talk about desert was slowly getting to him though. Maybe a brownie, or a piece of double chocolate cake! With hot fudge on top.
" I think I'll be getting something after all. "

"Anything?"
Ridley met eyes with Liam for a long moment and then looked away, embarrassed by his own thoughts. Instead he looked at Teddy and quirked an eyebrow.
"Good," he grinned, tempted to tease him about his weight just to be a jerk.
The waitress sauntered up at that moment, giving Teddy a weird look.
"I'll take a slice of apple pie, please," Ridley ordered politely, then glanced across the table at his new friends.

Liam smirked, both at what Teddy did and what Ridley said, meeting Ridley's eyes and watching him look away, amused. Damn, they were way too easy to tease. "Yeah, pretty much anything. Why? That a problem, Mr I'll-stay-for-Teddy-but-not-me?" he teased, watching him flirtatiously. Liam was about to say more when the waitress approached, the look she gave Teddy nothing short of hilarious.
"I'll have some strawberry icecream, if you would be so kind," Liam replied, giving her a winning smile.

They weren't the only ones who noticed the waitress's look. Teddy's reaction was to simply smile at her, showing off his beauty. She was just jealous of course! She didn't look as good as him, and wasn't with Ridley and Liam. Not his fault that she look so...terribly...poor?
" Could you get me a piece of double chocolate cake? And a brownie too. Also, a cup of tea. But not just any tea, it has to be lemon. Put a bit a milk in it, and TWO spoons of sugar. Wait! Scratch that, make that 4 spoons. Nooooo....make it three. Or two. Yeah, two! Please don't serve it hot, bring it nice and warm. "
Teddy tried to hold back his laughter while the waitress scribbled every time he changed his mind.

The waitress was definitely flustered by the time she got Teddy's order down but was wise enough to hold her tongue as she flounced off to get their orders.
Ridley, meanwhile, just smirked back at Liam. "The real question is what you would have done had I left you with him." He was impressed by Teddy's order, mostly because the boy was giving the poor waitress such a hard time, but he, too, didn't say a word about it.
"So I know Liam doesn't have any Pokemon, but how about you, Teddy? You probably have five-hundred or so, right?"

Liam raised an eyebrow at Teddy's order, grinning impishly.
"Double chocolate, plus a browny? On a diet, huh?" he teased, eyes sparkling. Poor Teddy. Then again, poor Ridley. What a group they made, the three of them. The Smart a**, the Tease and the Rich Boy. Although it may have been vanity, Liam felt he was the worst out of them, and almost felt bad for it. Almost. He couldn't help one last jab, however.
"Hmm... profess my undying love for him." he grinned, letting it fade slightly. Resigning himself to the fact that he should give the two a break, Liam sighed, resting his chin on his palm.
"He probably has the most adorable pokemon ever. A skitty, perhaps?"

Teddy’s cheeks quickly turned a deep red, both of Liam’s comments catching him off guard.
“ I’m just wanted to bother her! That’s why I asked for so much. Only reason! “ Teddy lied to himself, and avoided the love comment. Too bad another unneeded question was thrown at him by both of the men. This time he reacted differently. He wasn’t able to hide his distress so well.
“ No no! Pokemon are gross. None for me! Never “ Teddy laughed nervously, and shoved a chunk of his salad in his mouth.

Ridley rolled his eyes as Liam messed with Teddy. He almost felt back for the kid, watching him blush and smirking at him teasingly. He gave Liam a look for his second little quip and was glad that he relented, sinking back against the padded backrest and sighing.
"Hmm? What's wrong with Pokemon?" Ridley asked curiously; even an idiot could tell that Teddy was no longer happy when the Pokemon question came up. "You're not afraid of them, are you?"

Liam gave Teddy a weird look, this time entirely serious, surprised.
"Gross?" He repeated, sounding shocked, "Well... I suppose to each their own... but that's very unusual. Most people are dying to go out on a pokemon journey and work and play and battle with pokemon. Most job fields have some pokemon in them for that very reason."
Watching the boy curiously, Liam frowned slightly, looking a bit concerned, not for the fact that he didn't like pokemon, but for the fact that the boy's distress had elevated tremendously in the last 2.5 seconds.
"Are you alright?"
