Hope didn't bother with the goddess of love. After Dahak was brought into the world, she'd be taken care of along with anyone weak enough to fall under her spell. It would mean that Darius would be destroyed, but that was a sacrifice she was more than willing to make.
((I laugh because you totally said brothers and then mentioned Athena. Was that intentional?))

Hope resisted the urge to roll her eyes at the God of War. Barely.
"Ares, the plan includes the destruction of the weak throughout the entire known world, not just Greece. Rome is included in that plan," she told him before a thought crossed her mind. "Do not go to her, God of War. If I know Xena and mother, they'll fix this somehow," she told him as she rose from the makeshift throne and walked over to Ares. "I don't want you running off to be with her just to have her trick you in the end."

"Ares!" Hope practically barked at the God. His one track mind was infuriating. She did not want to have to deal with his obsession later on, especially if it put their plans at risk. She couldn't care less about the remark about her mother. She had moved on from that woman long ago. "I want your word that you won't have any contact with Xena. Swear on your godhood, God of War," she told him.
