I don't have time right now, but I'll try to check them out soon! What genres?

Nightwish is "Symphonic Metal" (It's like Lunatica, except older, and a better composer.)
After Forever is a mix of Symphonic and Gothic. it's a song by song thing. Energize Me is one of their "Lighter" songs.
Rush is "Progressive-Rock." Again, song by song thing. By progressive, we mean that they try a lot of new things per album.
Sirenia...I don't have much of their stuff, and I've heard they switched out a lot of members, and have had like, 4 different singers in the course of the band's existence.

I already know Nightwish. ^_^ I've heard their "Dark Passion Play" CD. Very good. I love "Amaranth" the most, and also "Bye Bye Beautiful."
Is Sirenia like rock, or is it pop, or what? XD;;

Dark Passion Play? The Poet and the Pendulum is arguably Tuomas' best composed song to date. Maybe not best sounding, but there's more to Nightwish than just vocals and gee-tars, amirite?
Sirenia, from the vid, makes me think of all those metal band who thinks they're "vikings" or something.
They still sound good though. ._./

Eh. The only thing I really watch on Youtube are either t.v. shows (anime or otherwise) or concerts.

Not really. AMVs are only good for me If I can't find the song otherwise.
Just an opinion though.

I make AMVs, and watch friends' AMVs. I sometimes watch other AMVs too, and that's how I discover most of my favorite songs. xD I discovered Misery Business by Paramore, Stand in the Rain by Superchick, Numb by Linkin Park, My Immortal by Evanescence, and more by watching AMVs. XD

I discover a lot of odd music through a lot of odd channels.
Example: I just picked up this "Melodic Rock Megapack" the other day. Haven't heard of ANY of the artists/bands before, and I already like most of what it gave me =D
