((Sorry guys I haven't been on for the whole week. gonk Anyway thanks for rping and keeping it going 3nodding the_golden_compass_rules: you need to change your post. You can't just skip large amounts of time the horses and people should interact. You can't just say that you went somewhere you have to tell how you got there and give descriptions. Also try to make the posts longer than one sentence, three at the least. This is your last free bee next time you will get a warning. cry It's in the rules so I can't help you there.))

Konoha no longer cared that her leg was throbbing, all she knew is that men had come. That was what the strange smell was coming from the men sitting on the backs of horses in contraptions. She watched Path get between a rider and a mare, the lasso getting caught on his hooves. She streaked towards the black and white mare with a girl on her back and snapped at the mares neck along with reaching for the riders feet. She struggled to keep her feet, dancing around to keep weight off the injury. Stepping wrong she neighed but didn't give up her attack on the mare.

Colonel Cunnigham motioned for his men to surround the horses. In less than a minute they had the mares and the stallion locked in a tight circle. "Jaden take one of the mares." He pointed to the lightest mare, the limping one. "Johnson get that palomino mare. Tom get the other mare. You two help me with the stallion. He readied his lasso and tossed it toward the stallion's neck, right on target.

((Johnson, Tom and the other two riders are NPC, feel free to use them. We need more people characters. Eclipsed Shadow, I will get your profile up soon, sorry about the delay. *guggles Storm Chaser* She is right. Sorry everyone for the tons of OOC))

(That's fine, I'm in no rush to get it up there. Also, to give a very basic description of the characters I made up: Emma is black with a white snip and back stockings. Brook is a light bay with a star.)

Eclipse jerked her head out of the rope that was still slighty caught on her neck. It fell to the ground, but she didn't pause to see whether it was still on the stallion's foot or not. She quickly heaved herself to a standing position and in a split-second realized that they were trapped.

Eclipse kicked out at random at the horse and rider behind her; she caught the creature's leg slightly and with the other hoof hit the horse hard in the shoulder. She pulled her legs quickly back under her, looking around wildly.

((Guggles. It's a cross between a huggle and a glomp.))
Colonel pulled back on the reins. Destiny shifted her weight and dug her back hooves into the ground, manageing a step backwards. Another lasso flew at the stallion as the man and horse beside him backed from the stallion. Colonel held the reins tight and the mare underneath him battled for ground and kept the line tight. Even with two lassos the stallion was putting up quite a struggle.

Johnson hung to the saddle as the wild palmino mare kicked his horse. The gelding sheid and danced his weight away from the brusied shoulder, where a welt was already forming. He tightened his grip on the reins and threw a lasso at the mare, a too low to catch anything and quickly dropped the line to reach for another.

Konoha shook her mane wildely, trying to shake off the lasso. The mare that was on the other end of the lasso was bigger than her and looked far stronger, not to mention she could barely keep her footing. She danced from side to side, pulling back on the rope and tossing her head.

Path reared again screaming in defiance. "Take me, but leave the mares alone!!"he screamed though he knew that these strange creatures could not understand him. Amidst the sweat glistening on his hide were flecks of red. the rope had cut his soft hide and he was bleeding slightly.

Path stopped pulling away and dropped to the ground exhausted. "The herd"he muttered suddenly his eyes widening in alarm. He hoped these creatures would not find the herd and that the herd would not go to far away.

Konoha watched as Path fell to the ground, and fought harder for a moment, untill all the strength seemed to leave her body and the most she could do was remain standing. As the girl and her mare pulled her towards the black horse holding Path, she limped as best she could.

Colonel raised his hand as the stallion dropped. Destiny and the gelding stepped forward, allowing some of the slack back to the rope. "Good men, just let them be for now." Seeing Jaden drag the limping mare behind her he turned in his saddle to look at her. "You still have much to learn girl." He wasn't happy with her for pulling the injured mare along and was even more up set that she had asked to go after the herd. "We have all we need and with theses extra. We'll leave the rest to for when we need them." He didn't care at what the horses went through when they were taken from their homes, but he did respect the horses. He wouldn't take much more than he needed and he would make sure the horses in his care remained as healthy as they could. "Right now, you stay put, I don't want that mare hurt any more than she already is."

Konoha hobbled over to Path, streching to the end of the rope, but not careing. She nickered to the stallion and streched her neck out to nuzzle him, but she couldn't reach. "Path, get up Path." She was badly frightened and trembling.

Eclipse struggled against the rope that dug into her neck. She neighed and reared, kicking up some dirt. Even so, she knew she was beaten. Even as she stuggled she was careful not to do anything to injure the other horses. After another bit of struggling, she stood, her nostrils flared and breathed heavily for a while.

She could tell that The stallion and the injured mare knew each other. As far as she could gather their names were and Path and Kohona, but she wasn't totally sure. "Hey... Kohona... are you going... to be okay?" She was still breathing heavily. "Path... if that is your name... thank you, although I'm sorry you got into this."
