Yeah, unfortunately I do shave my legs. I have probably been shaving them since sixth grade. I think I've got the hairy Scottish/European woman genes. It's not too bad, besides having hairy arms (which I would never shave), and minor upper lip and eyebrow hair. I do shave my armpits as well. I usually shave about once a week when it comes to my legs, and maybe twice a week when it comes to my armpits. During the winter I usually shave once every two weeks or so. Where I live it doesn't get too cold during the winter, so sometimes I still wear skirts, and then there's always gym. I don't have to take that next year! xd I do have really sensitive skin though, so it gets irritated sometimes when I shave. Hmm... yeah.

You know, I feel like I've tried everything...

I shave, but I get bad razorbumps and can never reach it all, not to mention the next day stubble and then there's this problem I have because my skin is so light and my hair is so dark, I can still see the hairs inside the folicles, and so I look all spottedy and stuff. So I still hate showing my legs because of all that. But I really really like my legs because of the shape and I want to be able to show them.

So I tried Nair. I left it on for the maximum amount of time (it smells awful!) and then I rinsed it off and the hair was still there. It was thinner, but it was still there. I tried the Veet brand of the same thing. I have freaking... leg hair of steel, man! Plus those chemicals really make me itch while they're on my skin, and it's so boring sitting there on the edge of the bathtub waiting to be able to wash it off!

So yesterday I bought a home waxing kit, and I tried it, but only a few little hairs came out and the rest of them stayed on! And then afterwards my skin was all red and irritated and I went to bed and it hurt when the sheets touched my skin. But I think I just need to boycot Nair products. I'm going to try a different kind of wax today after my skin finishes healing. But if that doesn't work, what will I do?

Can someone pass me the aloe vera please?

I only shave the bottom part of my legs (the calfs? I dunno.. ) I don't wear shorts, so the only people that ever see it, is who i change next to in P.E... and I usually go a while without shaving sweatdrop (in the winter I go for months. Hybernation!) but I shave my 'pits regularly

i shave my underarms every day......but as for my legs i can go until the end of time. i also wear a lot of tight-fitting geans cause i think my legs look better in geans but whatever yeah so i can go for as long as i want but sometimes i get tired of the feeling. then watch out cause i hog the bathroom for hours until every hair is off my legs lol xd biggrin heart mrgreen 4laugh

i know someone who shaves her left arm pit but not her right
i use wax.shaving makes the hair grow back darker and thicker
in chile they use a sugar lemon toffee stuff like wax that not only removes the hair , it also kills the follicles with continued use so by the time one is 40, the haie is almost gone!!
what about facial hair? i saw a woman with a beard once!
would you wear a beard or get rid!!!
