i play trumpet and french horn(i prefer a double)
and i'm the only fhorn player T crying T
and last year i was the only female trumpet in jazz band.

I play the french horn, but I also play trumpet and sometimes trombone ^^ and I know a girl named Jordon who is first chair trombone. The boys are pretty jealous cus she's the ONLY girl in the trombone section, and she knows how to rock in it!

It hard to find latin horn players. There are a few but not much. Those I gotta give them their props.
Anyway, the band I am in has only 11 members (not a school band). It has one female musician who is a trumpet player. The other two females are singers.

i play trombone, tuba, euphonium.
it's very exciting, but i'm the only girl in my school who plays trombone and one of two who plays tuba!
it's annoying, but i have rachel. she's my buddy, and together we keep the sexist guys at bay! mrgreen

I'm the only girl tuba in both high and middle school,and theres not too many Low brass in the whole school which sucks!!

I'm a freshman (nooo u.u) at my school, and we haven't started the year yet (only band camp), so let me think....
3 baritone players (all male)
3 trombonists (I think) All male but me
4? 3? Tubas (I don't know... D; )
So...uhm... ;_; one....

well im a brass/woodwind mix...i call myself a tubaphone...(tub lika a bath tub)any guessis...i play the berri sax... 5"1/4' and im playing an almost 4 ft instrument....don't laugh cuz i run laps around everyone else...and not because i did something wrong...but i can give em out ohh yea..whoops off topic its my senior year and i played trombone my sophmore and clar first..now berri sax for 2 years...but my sis was the first female berrie player for my school..so i took her legacy..ok im going to stop boring you now sweatdrop sorry for the info overload oh and my band is 8/10 female excluding our drill team and majoretts..then its like 19.5/20 female

I'm female and play the trombone. It always feels very lonely. I've been the only girl in the trombone section for over 5 years now. In the brass section as a whole, in one band there are 3 girls and in the other I will be the only girl in the whole brass section.
I'm the only girl in the brass ensemble and have been for 3 years. And in the brass band...there are only 5 girls in the whole band.

I just started playing in the band this last school year. Our first level band is divided into three different class: Brass Woodwinds and Percussion. I was the only girl in the whole class for a year because I played a brass instrument. It was fun though. Baritone rocks!!!!
