Emir's hair ruffled as Delilah's wings expelled the air they held. "What did you laugh about before?" he asked quietly.

Emir blinked. That hadn't been what he meant... but he was pleased by the answer all the same and his face warmed. "Why... did you stop laughing... did he who I resemble harm you in any way?" He asked, his back tensing.
