Slipping down off the bear, Rose sets Seiji down near the fire then the bag. Opening it up she lets Kaela out "Kaela, keep Seiji busy." turning she moves over to help Lucas as she wraps her hands around one side of the liter.
Seiji giggles as he is set down, but instantly falls quiet the moment Kaela jumps into his lap. Cooing he goes back to petting the small feline in his lap. His wings moving slowly every once in awhile.

Lucas moved quickly to the liter, and hefting it down off the bear with Rose's help, he moves it over by the fire, setting her down. He knelt and pulled the leaves back a bit, looking at the wound and clicking his tongue.
In the bushes the sound of the other animals could be heard, laying in wait for anything that might have spotted their flight.
Lucas reached down, and touching the skin lightly he frowned, and shook his head. This wasn't good... The poison would eat her alive he knew... It was vile stuff. He replaced the leaves and turned to rose. "How long will she be out this close to the fire?"

Rose looks over Tinania before she reaches out placing a hand on her bare skin. Feeling the cold she frown "A few hours, or longer if we don't warm her up. Lucas we have to get her warm, she can die if she freezes." her voice was barely above a whisper as she loosk toward Seiji.
Seiji yawns as he pets Kaela, his eyes drooping as he lifts his hand to rub at his eyes. Moving Kaela jumps off his lap as she moves towards the bag. Her own body shifted as she also grew to her human form. Reaching into the bag, she pulls out a blanket as she lifts Seiji into her arms. Wrapping him in it she loosk towards the other two "I will keep him warm, you two worry about her."

Lucas frowned then nodded his head. He moved over to his bags, and pulling out a length of needle and thread, he started to stich the leaves into Tinania's side. Once that was done, he pulled the liter back to the fire as close as he dared, and taking out a blanket, he wrapped it around her, then cuddling into her, he placed another over the two of them to give her more warmth.

Rose watches Lucas before she tilts her head, with a small mew she chuckles "You in love with her?" her tail twitches behind her as she watches the area around her. Although she knew it was okay to relax, she still felt the need to stay alert.
Seiji yawns again before he drift off into a light sleep. His head resting against Kaela's fur. Glancing up Kaela arches a brow before she looks towards the others, kindof curious herself.
Tinania didn't move, although her breathing finally seem to level out. Her eyes fluttered in her sleep. Her hair move alittle because of the air, before it to settle alittle in her face.

Lucas turned his head to look at Rose. His eyes were deeply troubled, but his face was so calm it was almost frightening. "Yes, I am." His voice wasn't every emotive, but his eyes flashed from troubled to passionate back to troubled. Turning hsi head again he went back on focusing on keeping her warm.
It would be hard, it would get colder before it got warmer, and he knew eventually he would have to leave her side to go get more wood for the fire. If he could get her through the night though, they could make it to Fair Haven and Lucas could feel a lot less worried.

Rose eyes seem to soften before she nods. Glancing away, she moves towards Kaela and Seiji, just so she could check on the little dragon boy. Looking to her sister, she smiles as she kisses Kaela's cheek.
A small purr comes from the feline before she relaxes against Rose. She knew the little boy would be fine, after all they had fur. So it would be enough to keep the your child warm.
Coughing in her sleep, Tinania stirs alittle yet her eyes remain close. Turning towards Lucas, she seem to reach out towards him, seeking the warmth coming from his body.

Lucas pulled her as close to him as he could, and keeping her body pressed against his, he closed his eyes, and slowed his breathing, trying to stay focused. Tinania was gravely wounded, and it was all he could do to keep from crying. This was a new sensation to him, his training had taught him how to not panic in situations like these, but when you felt strongly for someone, it seemed his training might as well have not happened.
It took him awhile, but finally the training won out, and holding her close he managed to suppress the emotions making him panic, so that he could take better care of her.
He started to focus on his surroundings more, his eyes darting out into the shadows. He knew instantly that the way he'd built the fire was a mistake, it could be seen, and it make it impossible for him to see out. He would have to rely on the noses and ears of his companions out in the brush. With any luck, they would spot anything before he did.
When he felt the nose on his back from one of the fel-wolves he nodded and let out a low hissing whistle. The wolf returned the whistle with a growl, and it hulked back out into the brush, returning a few minutes later with another man dressed much as Lucas was.
"I see you and yours made it out alive..." He pulled back the hood of his traveling cloak, revealing several scars on his face, one eye was covered with a patch, and his mouth was a dour frown. "Can't say many others were like to be as lucky."

Rose looks up the moment she heard a voice she didn't know. Her eyes narrowed until Lucas spoke to the man. Looking away, she stands brushing at her fur. Moving towards Lucas, she kneels as she place her hand on Tinania's forehead. A deep sigh of relief left her when she felt the heat coming from the fairies skin. It would mean her friend would live through the night at least.
Kaela, who was sleeping by this point with the young dragon in her arms was purring. Her ears twitch alittle as her tail brush the ground.
Seiji also was sleeping, his small dragon wings flap some as he makes a few noises. From the noises it was obvious that he was dreaming of something peaceful.
Tinania remain quiet in her sleep, the coughing finally letting up to the point where her breathing was normal once more. Although the color in her wings was still faded, it was cleat enough to tell what the colors once were. Moving alittle, she moans as she hides her face against Lucas's chest in her sleep.

Lucas bowed his head a little looking at his fellow ranger. "Yeah... How bad was it?" He asked, unsure that he really wanted an answer.
"Free Haven won't be showing up on a map any time soon. Those that survived the attack are heading towards Fair Haven to seek refuge from your father... With any luck the Wild Ones will be stupid and try to follow, we've been harrying them in the woods. They'll either give up the chase or they'll follow us to Fair Haven and get wrecked on the walls." The man eyed Tinania. "How is she?"
"She took an arrow... I got her tinctured. That's why I'm taking her to Fair Haven to get her fully healed."
The other man nodded and said nothing.

Rose looks up slightly startled before she frowns. Shaking her head she looks to Lucas "We need to move, we got company about two miles away from us. Plus she is able to be moved without harming her." standing she didn't wait for Lucas's answer, she moves toward Kaela poking at her sister's side "get up Kaela."
Stirring Kaela yawns as she looks up at Rose. When she see the serious look on her face he somber up as she stands. She knew that look, Rose being serious meant danger. Glancing around her tail brush the ground as she held the child close.
Seiji didn't stir, with the warmth of Kaela fur he did need to. Yawning in his sleep he turns his head towards Kaela's chest.
Tinania also didn't stir, she remain quiet. Her wings flutter once in awhile to allow someone to knwo she was still alive.

Lucas frowned and nodded, moving he stood up and kicked out the fire, and started to move her back towards the bear, to get her reset up. He motioned at the other ranger to help, and he jumped too it rather quckly and soon they had her tied to the saddle again. The other ranger nodded and was quickly gone again.
"We have friends too..."

Rose nods as she watches her sister move towards the bear. her eyes kept darting around the darkness, just watching for any signs. Once she was sure that Kaela was secure up on the felbear, she transforms back into her feline form. Jumping up onto the bear, she quickly settles onto Seiji's chest.
Kaela looks at Lucas, then back to Tinania. She knew they would be okay, she could feel it. Holding Seiji close she mews as she looks down at her sister. With the added warmth from Rose, she knews Seiji wouldn't wake up unles they woke him.

Lucas rode hard, pushing his mount as hard as he dared in the dark. He wanted to get to Fair Haven as fast as he could, but not at the expense of his mount.
He refused to relax until he saw the walls of the city. And when they finally crested a hill, breaking the tree line, he sighed audibly, and smiled. "Behold, Fair Haven... Most vile city on earth... And for now... Home..."

Kaela smiles as she looks over the city walls. Her ears twitch before she looks behind her, mewing she elans towards Lucas "We need to hurry, who ever is following us is getting closer." holding Seiji and Rose closer to her, she looks back behind her again.
Rose frowns as she attempts to look behind her, she too could hear the noise that was close by. Mewing, she slips back down to rest on Seiji's chest.
