"I guess us leaveing and not knowing why.." Wanda sighed and rubbed Ra's head. "I guess your both right though...but if they do try to attack us...then they can die...but I really do hope they dont turn their back on us...."

Relena looked through the bushes to see the farmhouse they lived in. Apparently the soldiers had fallen asleep in the bedrooms and their father was outside trying to salvage what was left of the crops. By the looks of things the soldiers had destroyed them in the search of the house and property.
Relena looked at Wanda and nodded her head, "Now or never...right..."
She gave her dragon a pat on its shoulder and told her to stay as she walked ahead of it and into the clearing towards her father. She was immediately greeted by her fathers warming embraces when he saw her. He hugged her tighter and began to cry, "I thought I had lost you..."
Relena returned the hug and looked around for her brothers, "Where are they!?"
Her father shook his head as he collasped on the veranda of the house, "The soldier took your brothers. Their to be taken to Helgrind and trained for battle like all the others they have taken before to replenished the losts in the king army. Your sister...I don't know..she just...vanished like you."
Relena watched her father seemily become crushed with dispere and sadness. Everything he loved was gone and he was broken. Relena crouched down to the ground and placed her hands on his shoulders, "Wanda is fine...she is with me and what the both of us wish to show you."
Her father looked at her, "Show me...?"
Relena bit her lip making it bleed, "Yes...it is something that my sister and I have keep a secret for a long time from everyone and is probably the cause of this in alot of ways. Please you will understand when you see it."
Relena rose and extended her head, it shaking the hold way. She was so frighten of what was about to happen. She jerked when her father took her hand.
"Show me then."
Relena did as she was obey not knowing what else to do. She was sure if he did not speak she would have stood there frozen to the ground as he held her hand. She led him into the forest that laid on the eastern side of their farm. After making sure they were out of sight and not followed Relena released his hand.
"Don't be afraid alright...they won't hurt you," said Relena quickly as the branches of trees began to sway in the wind that suddenly picked up.
Her father looked at her oddly but gasped at what he saw next. Two giant beasts slowly hovered down to the ground behind Relena, their giant wings beating the ground underneath them to slow their descent. Wanda sat on the back of one and Brom of the another. Both people dismounted the beasts and the beasts sat down on their hind-quarters and arched their neck as him as they eyed him quietly. Wanda and Brom had now walked up to Relena and were quiet next to her.
Brom looked at two girls next to him then at their father, "Let me introduce you. This is Ra and Silfer...your daughter dragons. Your daughters are dragon riders."
"I don't understand...how, when, where, who...," sputtered their father.
Brom walked up to him and turned to look at the dragon that were nudging their riders worringly, "They are dragon riders and the king now knows of their existences once more. That is what causing this sudden aggression with the kings army. Please believe me, it is not their fault." Brom looked back to the father of the girls and took a deep breath.
"We are all part of a war that has been going on for a millia's. Your daughters just have a bigger part of it," explained Brom quietly.

Wanda stared at her father. "...You don't hate us...or our our dragons...do you daddy..?" She looked worryedly at him. Hopeing that he would accept their dragons and them, and not hate them.

Their father looked at Brom after studying the dragon next to his daughters. He must have opened his mouth a millions time before finally speaking.
"Your stories....," started their farther. Brom finished, "Are true...yes."
Relena watched her father and Brom talk amongst themselves. She hugged Silfer long nose to her chest as the dragon despersate tried to rise her spirits. "Everything will work out in the end Relena," cooed Silfer voice in Relena mind, "Even if it all seems to be so bad.
Relena nodded and looked at her sister. Her own dragon was given some much need to comfort to her as well. Relena smiled and whispered, "Thanks...but perhaps I was wrong with my idea..."
Before her dragon had the chance to replied both Wanda and Relena were grabbed by their father and dragged to the sides of their dragons. Brom followed close behind.
"Father?" eeped and startled Relena.
"You must go now....get on...now," their fathers voice was barely a whisper as he picked up Relena and placed her in the saddle on Silfer back. Silfer rose once Relena was seated in the saddle.

Wanda squeeked as well when she was dragged off to the side of Ra. "Dad...?" What's this all about...?" She Climbed on the saddle on Ra's back but didn't tell Ra to take to the sky. "Dad whats wrong..?"
Ra stared at the girl's father.

Their father turn to Wanda, fear etched into his face, "You have a chance to be free!"
Their father started to dig into his pockets. Soon a piece of paper and a writing utensil came into view. He started to write some down but stop. He did a series of stops and starts before falling to his knee's. A bare whisper pasted his lips, "I can't write...."
He looked at his daughters. Here he could not read or write and did not have anything but the farm to his name. They had a chance to run and escape this fate. Now the king was after them, he was sure of it. He was sure the soldiers were after them. They just did know it yet. If he could save them for just a day, it would be worth it.
Relena watched her father seem to fall apart on them but before she could speak he was on his feet. Shoving the paper in his pocket he moved between the two dragon and looked up at his daughters.
"Go to Hogart, get supplies and run," said their father, "You have a chance escape from all this. Don't be a fool....Go!"
He began to dig into his pockets again as he made his way to Brom, "It is not much but is should help some...take it." He handed Brom what was left of the family money, which was a mere few copper pieces. Brom took it with a mere nod of his head. Their father turned to Wanda and Relena as he spoke to Brom, "Keep them safe...please...their all I have."
He couldn't save their brothers, his sons, but he could save them.
Relena frowned, locking her eyes on a random scale of her dragon, "What about you?"
Relena father looked up at her and signed, "I can't escape this...," he said. Relena was about to protest but he cut her off, "Don't you dare feel sorry or come back you hear me!" He looked at Wanda as he spoke, "You two run as far and as fast as you can from here. I don't want to see you two in the hands of the king..your hear me."
He turned to Brom, "Go...Hogart get supplies...but I want you gone before sunrise. Hogart should be able help and not go into to much as in why. He has always been there for this family"
Brom nodded as he walked past their father and up to them, "Go back to the shelter, I will meet you there. Be ready to leave..."
"but," utter Wanda.
"No but's....that's an order," Brom said with a serious tone.

Wanda stared at Brom then over at Relena then over to their father. "But...will we ever see you again daddy..? Relena and I dont want to lose you..." She sighed sadly.

Their father turned his back to them before anything else to be spoken.
Brom turned to Relena and nodded her. Relena turned to Wanda in her saddle, "Come on...we don't have alot of time."
Relena pat her dragons shoulder, "Let's go!"
"With pleasure," roared the dragon as it took to the sky.

Wanda sighed again and watched Relena and Slifer take to the sky. She patted Ra's neck alittle. "Lets go Ra...." Ra nodded and took off to the sky. "Are you ok little Wanda?" Wanda just sighed alittle more. "Just sad..I really don't think Relena and me will ever see him again..anyway can't think about it anymore...don't want to. We have other things to think about." Ra didn't say anything else and just fallowed after Relena's dragon.

Silfer landed just short of the cave entrance and lowered herself to the ground. Relena swung her legs over and slid down her dragon arm and to the ground.
"Come on," she motion for her dragon to follow and it did.
Once in the center of the cave main room, Relena began strap saddle bags to the saddle and fill them with what food that wouldn't be to perishable. Relena decide to be quiet. Talking just seemed to hurt to much at that current moment. Right now they need to be ready to take off as soon as possible when Brom came back.

Ra landed just a bit aways from the cave and Wanda jumped down with a small thud. She walked off into the cave and gave a wiggle of her finger for Ra to fallow. Ra did fallow her and lied down in the cave. Wanda looked at Relena and didnt say anything.

Brom came back after a few hours. He saw the dragon saddles filled and backs lined with sacks of various items and food. Apparently they had been listen very well to his teachings.
He walked into the cave pulling three horse that looked like they haven't been feed in weeks. They were definitely Hogart horses. The blacksmith was the only one with horses do to his work. The horses were full of saddle bags and tools. He moved the horses up to the dragons and began transfering the saddles to the dragons.
"We will take the horses," said Brom, "Silfe and Ra will flow in the air carrying the items as we travel."
Relena gave a small sign as she rubbed Silfer nose, "I know dad is our dad, that he is only our step-father...i..i....i...."
Brom finished the last of the tie downs on Ra, and patted her neck. He walked over to Relena and place his hands on her shoulder, "You know this would eventually come...," he looked at Wanda, "Both of you." Brom took a deep breath, "It would hurt everyone more if you two got caught by the king..."
Relena and Wanda gave a small nod of the head, still not full convince on the issue. Brom suddenly gave a quick smile, "Besides, run today, live another day...to kill the kings a** and save those that want you save."
Relena head came flying up, "What!"
Brom chuckled as he pulled himself up onto one of the horse and grab the reins, "Your father said to protect you...the only way that is going to happen is to train you and get rid of the king. You put two and two together."
Relena nodded her head vigerously and smiled at Wanda,"Where too Brom...?!"
Brom chuckled, "I think it is time you meet some far better teachers than me..."
"Who," chime Wanda curious before Brom could finished.
Brom rolled his eyes, "The elves..."
Relena moved over to one of the horse and pulled herself into the saddle, "Ellesmera?"
Brom nodded as he kneed his horse into a gallop, "Yes...let's move before those soldiers develop brains..."
The dragons roared as the took off out the cave and into the sky and clouds. Relena nodded and went after Brom, "Let's go Wanda...the stronger we get the sooner we can come home once more."
