The shadow heard from the distance some sort o battle. He leapped into the air, onto a branch, sniffed the air, and continued onward towards the battle. "Fun..." he said to himself. "The air smells of tension, and sweat..." a smile played across his lips lightly. "...No smell of hell...no smell of demons trying to kill my soul...may I be the devil if I am wrong..."
He moved swiftly through the trees, leaping, and landing with ease, and with great agility. "It's been awhile..." he thought to himself. He could go back on his memories of the days, the shots...the fighting...the excitement!! He laughed to himself, starting to get hyper, and excited. He loved to fight...loved to kill...
He finally reached the battle point. He stood off away from the action in the distance.
He watched the fight from a far. He sniffed the air, getting the scent of everyone around the area. Curiously, he watched, excitement gleamed from his mask covered eyes.

Angel noticed he ignored her question. Oh well it wasn't really important anyways. So she just shrugged it off. She looked at him and smiled. Aww hes so cute!! She thought not know his real age. She thought he was around 3 or 4 by his size. But oh well. She looked at the candy he pulled out and held back a squeal. He was just so adorable! Angel bent down so she was eye level to him. "Thanks sweety but you can keep your candy.. I'm not sad at all." She told him. She didn't want to make him sad by not taking the candy but she really didn't need it and she wouldn't feel right taking his candy. She looked at the pond and frowned seeing the blood still. She closed her eyes and breathed in then breathed out and smiled and opened her eyes and looked at the boy in front of her. "How bout you go play with your friends. Okay?" (Normally I would not quote posts, but seen as there is always a page between the postings... sweatdrop ) Tassen nodded. She did seem happier already, without the aid of the sweet candy. "If you don't wish to have any..." He unwrapped one piece and tossed it into his mouth, enjoying the sweet taste. It was something he enjoyed every now and then. The humans make good food. "I was actually wondering if you would like to play. I'm not from around here." He smiled at the young human girl. Maybe he could do something for her, or just enjoy a moment of fun for a change. Undead hunting was not much fun...

Angel watched him eat the candy. He was getting things off the mind a bit so she wasn't so much upset since she wasn't thinking about it. When she herd him ask her to play with her she was a bit surprised. "Oh I see. Well.." She said as she thought for a minute. She shouldn't play because she needs to be ready for anytime in case she is given another person to kill. But she could always play then say she had to go after. She looked around seeing no familer messengers. She then looked back at the bo. She knew she had to get back to her boss but she felt bad for the boy and thought he was adorable. It wouldn't hurt to take a small break right?
Angel nodded slightly. "Okay What do you want to play?" She asked him as she tilted her head slightly not knowing what the kid wanted to play.

"Hide and seek!" Tassen immediately ran for a hiding spot. Why not have a little fun with things while he could, right? He wasn't going to actually hide till he knew her eyes were covered.
Once her eyes where covered (if she covered them), he dashed into a bush, waiting inside it for her to come around. He used his small size to conceal himself from view. He would see how well a human can sense things around them.

Angel was really surprised when he said hide and seek and ran off. "He has...a lot of energy.." She mumbled as she turned around and he was gone. Since she was only human her senses wasn't to strong but she pretended like she was doing her job. Like she had to listen carefully and Find him befor he found her. She looked for anything out of place. or that seemed different. She saw a leaf from a bush that had fallen and smiled. She walked over to it and saw that one of the mini branches had been moved out of place. She then peeked over the bush to see if he was there

The thing looked up at Draki, and gapped its mouth open. It seemed to make a moaning sound mixed with some form of human like communication. Rather, the words didn't come from its mouth, but rather from its mind. Somehow, it mind linked with Draki. "You've come to stop me?" the things chilling words echoed throughout Draki's mind. He stepped back, Draki that is, and looked at the thing walking towards him, its eyes dead with a most unpleasent stare.
Once it started walking again, Draki noticed its clothes were more torn and shreaded than he expected. "What ever the hell you are, I'm gonna kick your a** back to where ever the hell you came from!". He paused for a moment to get a reaction from the thing, and just burst onto it. Not caring what it would do.

The masked shadow didn't have time to watch some petty little fight between some demon creature, and someone else. "Heh...reminds me.." he shook his head, and narrowed his eyes from behind the fox like mask. "I should be going now." He snifed the air lightly, and smirked. "Town is that way..." he then jumped up off the tree he was resting on, and jumped to another. Quickly he jumped from tree to tree, then eventually, jumped over Draki, and his opponent. In the air, he looked down at Draki, and the being below him, and waved slightly. "Heh.." a slight chuckle escaped from his mouth.
He then hit the ground, moving swiftly, and quickly through the brush. His steps were light, and didn't stick to the ground for very long. He jumped up once again, onto a tree branch, and continued to jump from tree to tree once more. Inching his way to town, the scent of the city grew within range. He jumped from the tree, and hit the ground lightly on his feet. "Just abit longer now..." he said quietly to himself as he took off running. Moving faster as time pass. The sound of his feet hitting the ground lightly grew faster, and faster with each step taken.
There it was, the city. He finally reached it within a few minutes. "Heh.." He jumped over a wall with ease, and landed on the other side. Hitting the solid concrete below his feet. He walked calmly, and quietly through the city.His eyes darted from place to place from behind his mask, looking around at the surroundings, and the enviorment around him. As if he was scanning the area, imprinting it into his mind.
The towns people stared at the masked person, with a cloak drapped over his whole body. As if they see a ghost, or something. "I need someone..." he said quietly to himself. "I need some type of...body." It was like he himself was a ghost, however everyone still could see him due to the mask, and cloak. "Host..." he said. He then spotted out someone...a white haired man, sitting near a box, messing with some trading cards.
The man stood about 6 feet tall, or so. White shaggy like hair, colorful eyes, fast with his hands. He seemed to be conning people out of their money with these...cards. He was fast with his hands...a perfect person...
The shadow walked up to him, examining the man, and the cards themselves. A helpless citizen tried to not be conned out of his money. He tried to follow the cards, however the man was too fast. It was a simple game really..three cards...two hearts, one spade. Lay them all face down on the box.The person had to guess which one was the spade. Pick a heart, lose your money. Tch, easy..
The poor citizen walked away, bumping into the shadowed man when turning around. The shadow's turn was next. The man smirked lightly. "Hello. Would you like to play?" the man asked with curiousity, and much confidence within his voice. "Aye..." the shadow said. He lifted up his hand, and dropped a small pouch full of money. What noone noticed was, bumping into thi perticular shadowed man was a bad thing, he'd pick-pocket you right on the spot. Very skilled thief.
The white haired man smiled. "Okay then." he set the cards down, showing the shadowed man where the spade was...starting off in the middle. Soon enough the man worked his speed, agility, and skill. moving each card with grace, and speed. "Find it.." he spoke.
Shadow lifted his hand as if it were 50 pounds heavier. He placed the baggy sleeve on the left hand side card, and fliped it over. It was the spade. The man's eyes open widely. "No way!" he shouted. "That's impossible...I never lose! Never!!! You cheated!! Again! Double, or nothing!" The shadow smirked under his mask, and nodded once lightly. The white hair man started it up again. His hands were swift, and moved with great speed. He was skilled indeed. "Pick!" Shadow raised his hand slowly again, and placed the long drapping sleeve over the right card, flipping it over....It was the spade. The man staggered. "Yo-yo-your good..." he said, surprised that anyone could beat him at his own trickster game. The white haired man had a cocky smirk play across his lips. "HA!" he sntached shadows bag of money, and took off running. Knocking the box over to try to get a head start.
Shadow shook his head, and walked in the direction the man went. The chase was on! The man ran down the street, and headed into a left alley way, then turned into a right alley way. He knew his way around his town, no doubt. He stopped to look back, one he did shadow was here walking towards him. "Damn!" he shouted, then started to run again. He took off down a series of alleyways, as if it were some type of maze, then climbed up some fire escape. As soon as he got to the top, there was shadow. It was as if Shadow was 10-20 steps ahead of him. He then jumped to another building, then jumped down. The man took off, and into a building. It was a beat down wooden building. With just a couch, and some other piece of crap stuff. TV sat on a box with a coat hanger ontop of it. A big mirror was on the door. Crappy sink, etc etc. He smiled, and laughed. "Haha! Got away! You're good man, but not good enough!" he said, pulling out the pouch of money, tossing it up, and catching it in hand. Just then, a knock was heard on the door. The thief man stopped in his tracks...breathing heavily. "No way.." he thought. "He couldn't have caught me.." The man walked to the door, and opened it slightly looking outside. There was nothing...nothing at all at the door. He looked down, it was just a cat. "Meow?" the cat meowed.
He sighed. "Just a stupid cat.." he closed the door. Just then his eyes struck fear into his body. The reflection...in the mirror hanging on his door. It was Shadow, standing behind him. "Wh--wh--who are you!?" he said to shadow.
Shadow smiled from under his mask. "Who am I? I am nothing...tell me..do you have any family?" he asked curiously. The man shook his head. "What do you want with me?!" he shouted. Shadow sighed. "Look, I am asking the questions here, answer, and I wont kill you." Just then kobyousou slided down from both his sleeves. The blades were in, then shot out in a spread, as if they were claws now. "Answer..."
The man shook his head again. "No...I am orphaned..." he said, fearing for his life. Shadow smiled from under his mask. "Any friends?" He asked the man. The man shook his head once more. "No..." he said, putting on an act as if he was affraid. The man reached behind him with both hands, unsheathing couple of big daggers. That cocky smile came accross his face once more, and a gleamed shined in his eyes. "Die!" he shouted, dashing towards shadow with the daggers. Shadow leaped behind him, and kicked down the door. "I caught you...now tag...you're it.." he said, jumping back about 5 feet out the door.
The man charged at him with the daggers. Thrusting one towards shadow's face. Shadow simply raised a hand, and blocked it with one of his claws. The man thrusted the other, shadow just blocked it. The man ducked down, and did a sweep kick towards Shadow's legs, trying to trip him. Shadow jumped up into the air, dodging the attempt. He did a back flip, and landed lightly on his feet. "C'mon..." he said, smiling from under his mask. It was clear Shadow was just messing with the man. The man threw one dagger at Shadow, then pulled out a card. Shadow raised a hand, and caught the dagger. Just then at the moment, the man flung the card at him, it cut straight throught Shadow's cloak! "Not bad..." Shadow said, the man smirked. "Not bad? Not bad? Try this on for size." The man took out his deck of cards, tossed them one at a time. Shadow just dodged, except the last one. He threw the dagger at the last card the man threw, and it pierced the card straight through, making the dagger, and the card fall, and hit the ground between them. "Can you do better?" Shadow asked. The man thew his other dagger towards shadow, and followed it up on melee combat. Shadow mved his head tilting it slightly, the dagger zoming passed his head.The kobyousou retracted into his sleeves. The man threw a quick punch towards shadow, shadow ducked it as sent a punch towards the man's kidney. The man was hit, and stagered back abit. He jumped at Shadow, and did a round house kick. Shadow raised a hand, and blocked it. "That it?" Shadow said, toying around. The man got even more frustrated. HE sent a punch towards Shadow's face, but it was a fake, he pulled the punch back half way through, and sent a quick kick to shadow's kidney. It hit, but it hurt the man more than shadow. "Heh.." Shadow chuckled. The amn shook his head. "I am done with this!!" He pulled out a card, with sometype of explosive on it. He jumped back, and threw it right infront of Shadow. Shadow looked down, and at that second, the card exploded. The explosion could be heard from a mile away. Smoke, and rubble were in the air. Rubble fell down over the man. "Heh..survive that..." The man stood there, waiting for the smoke to clear. As soon as it did, he was shocked. Shadow was still standing. Shadow looked up at the man, and the kitsune mask cracked vertically down. "I am done messing with you now..." Shadow said. The Kobyousou shot out from his sleeve once again. The blades spread. "Time to end this..." Shadow disappeared from the man's sight, just then the kobyousou was seen straight through the man's stomach. The man's eyes were wide. "Oh my g-g-g-go-" It was as if he was speechless, he couldn't spit it out. "God?" Shadow said, "God forsaken me. May God be with you." He pulled the kobyousou out from the man's torso. The man fell to the ground bleeding to death. Within minutes, the man was dead. Shadow picked the body up by the neck. He looked straight into the lifeless corpses eyes. He then took off his kitsune mask, and hood. There it was, his face..Blonde hair drooped over his crimsion red eye, however his left eye was pure white. His smirk showed small fangs, and his ears were slightly pointed. "They knew me when I was alive...when all of us were alive. I'm sure the others went to heaven, or maybe some place better, but where I went...as worse than Hell itself, but I escaped. I was the one, one of the Terra...My name was.." His eyes started to glow blue, as if he had flames in his eyes. There was burst of blue falme surrounding the corpse, and shadow. The falmes then dispersed, just then, the cloak, and the mask hit the ground, and the corpse came to life. The corpses ears became more pointed, his fangs grew, and pointed out more as well, much like vampire fangs. His left eye then went pure white. It was as if Shadow took over the man's body. He was seen knelt down. He smirked, and picked up his kobyousou, equipping them onto his hands. He retracted the blades, the smirk he hand stayed plastered upon his face. He stood up, crakced his neck, stretched out his arms, and jumped up onto a building top. "My name was Caim Nightfall, and now I am back baby! I AM BACK!!!!" He shouted. ((Aye, Caim didn't ahve kids, he died at the end. Member? lol. I also realized that Nena Firewinds character is a soul hunter. Lookin' for souls who escape hades, and finds them blah blah blah. I realized that AFTER I did this post, so this should be interesting for me. Hehe.))

((You going to post something?)) Caim had a grin plastered on his face. He stuck his hands in his pockets, and started to walk across the roof of the building. "That one guy...fighting that creature over outside the city...was that Draki?" he asked himself, thinking. "Who knows.." He shrugged.
He reached itno his pockets, an dpulled out a deck of cards. "Awesome..." he said, with a devilish grin. "First order of buisness, rob something. Well, I am starving, it's like this body hasn't eaten anything in ages!" He jumped down off the building, and landed lightly on his feet. As soon as he landed he started to walk, and sniffed the air.
"I need some food...and cash to buy that food..." He looked a citizen seemed wealthy enough, and walked towards him. He bumped into the man, and pick-pocketed the guy as fast as he could. As soon as he was outta distance, he tossed the bag up, and caught it. "I still got it...kinda miss Zephyr's...and being wanted. That was fun, cops, and crap coming after me back in the day..." He snickered at the thought. Caim reached a small diner. "That's what I'm talking about!" He kicked the doors open, and walked in. "'Ey! Gimmie about 20 burgers, and some fries!"
