Pel glared at her sister for a moment before turning to Nyhm, her cheeks just a light pink now. "It's just a blush!" she muttered.
Nienna wiped tears from her eyes as she finally calmed down. "Ok, I knew I could get you on that one, but I didn't think you'd react that much! What, do you love him or something?"

Noveth started to edge slowly toward the side of the the booth. "Um...yeah didn't expect that reaction..."

Pel looked down at her hands. "I just don't like to be made fun of..." she said quietly. Her heart was in a turmoil.
Nienna looked oddly at her sis. "Don't worry, Nevoth. She just overreacts to everything! Just ignore her and you'll do fine."

Pel could feel her heart beat loudly, and was sure Nyhm could hear it as well. Another blush creeped up her neck, and she forced it down. She looked up and smiled at her friend.
Nienna observed the two quietly, noting how her sister bit her lip when Nevoth put his arm around her.

Pel nodded, smiling and looking down. Her heart just wouldn't calm down. "Fine, I'm fine..." she murmured.
Nienna smiled widely. "So, Nevoth, what are you doing in this part of town?"

"Pel wanted me to come with her, instead of just moving to the next city..." He said and looked at Pel's sister questioningly.

"Well, Pel does live in the next city over. She's here to try and convince me to give up my ambition to destroy every vampire in the world!" Nienna said happily. "But you really should stay here for a while! I have an apartment with two extra rooms. You could stay there with me and Pel!"
Pel looked up at Nyhm, her eyes lighting up. "That's right! You should come stay with us!"

"Well, since you seem to be the only one besides me to get my sister to blush, I guess it's ok if she hangs out with you. And since she seems to have taken a liking to you, I could try and get used to you," Neinna said, smiling.
Pel looked at Nyhm with her puppy dog eyes. "Please?" she asked.

Nyhm smiled and acted like he was thinking for a minute. "Alright then, I'll stay...but first..." He leaned over and kissed Pel softly on the cheek.

Pel blushed brightly, her eyes widening. Her heart felt like it was about to burst, and there were butterflies in her stomach.
Nienna smiled. "Alright, you're OK with me!" she told Nevoth. "Just as long as you don't break her heart, I won't break your arm."

Pel softly leaned on Nyhm, smiling. "Good..." she murmured.
"Ok, are we going to order food already?" Nienna asked when a waiter walked up to their table. "Two raw steaks for me and Pel, and Nevoth....?"
