he realizes it after every time he screws up but then he starts all over again in times of trouble. i don't think he is ever going to change

thats just because hes the hardest kind of person to not be. its like trying to get rid of a bad habit like chewing with your mouth open. it might take some time but mckays case could take years.

he didn't really meet the botanist till the beginning of season 2 which has only been about 2 and a half years. how old is he. he has been that way for his whole life. you cant expect to have a life epiphany that would take you to a 180 in your life would you in less than 3 years.

The thing is, he's changed quite a bit since he first came on the scene. He has friends now.

true rodney was prepared to die and tried to make up with everyone possible. but of coarse Rodney's stubbornness comes out and saves his a**.
