Contessa/Keahi looked back to Layla with her eyes glowing. "Layla I suggest you watch you yelling. If you weren't paying attention, I was talking to someone. It's rude to interrupt." Contessa/Keahi said an ancient spell, one which was of Contessa/Keahi's home planet. It trapped the person the spell was aimed at in a cell of fire.

Hailie fought to take the magnet off but it was useless, besides she had to hit half of Contesssa's attack (she was just 50% successful to block it). The magnet forced weird mercury shapes out of her control, but still Hailie made no expression in her face. Oliver was going crazy, he knew that she was immortal while she was in that state, but he also knew that if she was attacked too much, she could die when she returned to herself. He turned the mercury into some wierd blue liquid and tuned the flames off. But then Hailie became herself again. She took off the magnet painfuly and let herself fall to the floor. She felt so much pain all of a sudden that she could not even speak.

Hailie woke up, coughing. Her creepy, bony wing-like formations slowly turned into ashes and fell to the floor. As she recovered her breath, she spoke. "Something is wrong here." she said "There are enough bad people in the magical dimension as to disorder the balance of things. I was possed for some other reason. While I was in trance, my soul went to the world of dead. Valtor was there, but not in that place's 'jail'.....He's about to break the portal that separates this world with his. He's got plenty of power now, he consumed plenty of power from many ghosts there, and now he's coming back." Hailie was alive thanks to the elixir but she was really hurted. Her thermometer was broken but that was not what worried her the most, what worried her the most was that, if the balance was OK, then Valtor knew a way to control her and be able to attack by combining his magic and hers. "He'll disbalance everything!" she said, as she tried to stand up, but Oliver did not let her, for he knew that she needed to rest. He touched her head and she fell asleep.
"We cannot go to the boundaries of life and death." said Oliver "All we can do is to wait and be prepared."

Juliet suddenly flew at an incredible speed, taking Nathan's hand.They went directly to the world of Dead, where Valtor was. Valtor had called the messenger to give an announcement. (As you may recall, Valtor summoned Juliet to fight for evil while his spirit traveled to the other world, he knows her but does not know about her 'job').

Nathan let go Juliet's hand and then he noticed Valtor. He had seen him doing his evil stuff but had never met him ghost to ghost. Valtor looked at Juliet "So...you are the new messenger?" he asked "Such a beautiful lady should not have such a hard job, princess."

Nathan was starting to feel tremendously jealous.

"Yes." Juliet said shortly "I don't have that much time so give me your message now."

Valtor put his arm around Juliet's waist and put her really near to him. He carefully moved Juliet's hair to whisper his message. His voice made Juliet shiver. "Hurry up." he said "This will be so fun."

Nathan was now as green as a ghost can be fom jealousy. "Juliet, time to go." he said as he hit Valtor's arm away. He took Juliet's hand as she became one with the wind (and Nathan this time).

As they arrived, Juliet stood in the center of the place. "Valtor has sent a message." she said "He is telling us to be prepared, or it'll be so easy that it won't even be fun. He'll be here in minutes."

"Seconds." replied Valtor, appearing from behind "This will be so easy...." Valtor was now much more powerful than he had ever been in life.
He got into Hailie's body. (Hailie, as a neutral, works as a 'home' for spirits, and unless the spirit leves by itself, Hailie would die if someone forces teh spirit out by any method.) "Besides," he said using Hailie's vocal cords "you cannot kill me, not even inside a body. This is, of course, unless you want to kill your friend."

Gasping, Layla said, "It cannot be possible. No way!" At that, some strange magic had taken her back to the world of the unconscious.
