Kei writes her essay without saying a word and turns to hand it in and leaves the class, after meeting with Sapphire.
"Hey Sapphire, how are things going with you and all, since you seemed down a few days ago..." Kei says, trying to be positive.
*walks with Sapphire to her next class*
"So, what do you think of that new guy? Seems like we are always getting bigger and bigger in our class," Kei says.

"Hi Kei. Things are going well for me now. I've just been praying and meditating to clear my head. And about the new guy....well his.........okay I guess."
As Sapphire and Kei walked to their next class, Sapphire stopped to ask Kei something.
"Hey Kei......since I now know that your really a shinigami or half-shinigami to be exact, can you come to my house later? There are some things I want to go over."

Kei looks at Sapphire with a concerned look.
"Who do you want to talk to, myself or my other half? What time would be best for you..." Kei trails off.
Later that night, Kei arrives at Sapphire's house as Ryon. The night seemed to be a clear night, a new moon, which made traveling at night more "accidental" than any other night.
"What did you want to talk about Sapphire, or some things that you want to go over?" Ryon asked.

"You can come as Ryon since I need to talk to your other half anyways."
Later on when Sapphire came home, she went to the kitchen to get a soda. Then she went to her room to find Kei's other half, Ryon the shinigami, in her room.
"Hello Ryon. Since you're here, there are some things I need to discuss with you- like the Death Note for example."

*Ryon starts to laugh to herself*
"The Death Note, eh? What questions do you have? I can tell what you ask, but a fair warning, I may or may not tell you everything truthfully," Ryon continues to laugh.
*looks at Sapphire with her red eyes, smiling*

"OK Ryon. My first question is....is dropping death notes in the human world just another way for shinigami to kill people? And also, what the hell is so funny? You've laughing for like 2 days straight or something."

*looks at her, and stops laughing*
"Is dropping the Death Note just another way way for one of us to kill people...no, we Shinigami get bored, as you can put it; all we do is either sleep, gamble, or write, but if we write too much the other pick on us saying 'why work so hard?'" Ryon said looking at Sapphire.
*pauses for a second to get the Death Note and opens it*
"The Death Note can be either for good or for evil, just as Kira in this 'America' has told you things, and the reason I laugh is because you knew that Kei, or overheard that I am a Shinigami and Human..." Ryon said without taking her eyes off the Death Note.
*takes out a pen from her bag, and "pretends" to write down something*

"OK then. Since that's settled, I also have to tell you something."
*goes to her desk and turns on the computer*
"While I was living in America, Light tipped me off about my dad's killer. He said that the person who shot him had connections with the Japanese mafia. Do you know anything about that?"

"Japanese Mafia, eh...what's that? We Shinigami have no record or know that there was a 'Japanese Mafia' because we see all around the world, but don't follow anyone unless that person has a Death Note, and if one did, I would have no idea of a whereabouts," Ryon said.
*closes the Death Note and puts the pen back, handing back the Death Note*
"This Light or as from what I heard, you called him 'Kira' how does he know that there was a person who shot your father and that do you think he's trying to do, set you up?" Ryon said smiling to herself.
*turns her back to face the window*
"If you must, ask around about the case of 'Kira' in America," Ryon said, "and then maybe you can find who knows the truth." Ryon said laughing.
*flies out of your bedroom window and goes back to her house*
The next morning Kei does not show to her first class, but later goes to her second class and waits for anyone to show up to talk to. She feels dirty, but goes in regardless of how she appears, she tries to fix her hair, but it refuses to straighten out so she lets it go to hell. She looks tired, but alert.

*takes the Death Note and puts it on the desk after Ryon leaves*
*sighs*
"Well...since Ryon doesn't know anything, might as well contact Light and see what he knows."
The next morning, Sapphire goes to her locker and suddenly someone calls her on her phone her laptop.
"Yo, Sapphire! It's me, Angel.", Angel says.
"Oh, hey Angel. What's up?"
"I have something for you that can help you.", she says.
"What is it?'
"It's a paranormal detector. It can help you find things that are not of the human world, like shinigami for example. It should arrive at your home later on today." says Angel.
"Thanks Angel."
*turns off laptop, puts the Death Note in her locker and shuts it*
When Sapphire goes to her first class, she didn't see Kei there. When she went to her next class, she saw her, but didn't say anything and sat down.

Upon arriving to his first class, Klea glanced at the empty seat that once contained the girl he'd talked to the day before, Kei. Was she sick, skipping, or was she simply a figment of his imagination? The latter, at least for Klea, seemed most plausible. He tended to get sugar highs sometimes where he'd imagine people that weren't there.
He did, however, see Saphire, but she didn't seem to be in the talkative mood so the class drug on for the rest of the period. His eyes were half-shut the entire time as he felt sleepy, being woken up in the middle of the night by a terrible dream of Kira killing his mother.
When he arrived at his next class (separate class from Saphire and Kei), he swiftly took out a pen from his pocket and began writing down the names of all his known classmates. His motive for this, at the moment, was currently unknown to anyone.

Kei notices that Sapphire entering looking a bit happy yet downcast. Kei tries to not look at her, since she looks like a wreck.
"Sapphire?" Kei said not looking at her.
*Kei takes out a tiny makeup mirror and tries to fix anything she can*
The teacher enters the classroom to notice Sapphire and Kei. The teacher goes to the board to write: "No Classes Tomorrow." The other students enter and Kei tries to hide herself.
The day goes on and Kei leaves the school to go home early and waits later that night to meet up with Klea.

Kei finds Klea and tries to talk to him without being a bit bashful.
"Hey Klea, I am sorry that I wasn't in class this morning..." Kei looking at the floor.
*she turns red, in embarrassment; playfully tags Klea*
"Well, if you ever want to chat or whatever, I'll be around..." Kei says running away.

While in class, Sapphire turns around and sees Kei.
'Woah. It looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning', Sapphire says to herself as she laughs under her breath.
*looks at the board*
"Cool. No classes tomorrow."
*bell rings for dismissal*
When Sapphire arrives home from school, she sees a package outside her door.
*picks out package and goes insides*
"Hello, dear," her mom says, "How was school?"
"It was OK. I dont have any classes tomorrow, but I might end up being busy anyway."
*goes out to her room and turns on TV*
While Sapphire is watching Codename: Kids Next Door on TV, the show is interrupted and a news reporter comes on TV:
Reporter: We interrupt this broadcast to bring you a special report. Recently, the Tokyo Bank has been broken into. Now here is news anchor, Kiyomi Takada live on the scene.
Takada: I am here at Tokyo National Bank witnessing a robbery. Just minutes ago the bank has been broken into and the people in there are being held captive. The robber's name is Shibu Hakada and the police force is doing everything they can to negotiate with him. Please stay tuned for an update.
"I'm guessing now is a good time to use the Death Note again."
*Takes out Death Note and writes down the robber's name it*
*waits for 40 seconds*
Takada: We are back with an update. As you can see the victims are coming out unharmed and the police have reported that Shibu Hakada died of a mysterious heart attack. This Kiyomi Takada for Evening Spot News.

"All right, see you around." replied Klea to Kei as she ran off.
"That was odd, wonder what's bugging her," commented Klea to himself, failing to pick up the hint of embarrassment Kei portrayed.
When he returned home (rather late), his mom asked him how his school day was.
"Descent, I suppose. I'm heading up to my room to study." he replied to her as he walked up the wooden, spiral staircase to his room. He locked the door for privacy and pulled out his math homework to begin writing. Luckily, math was his best subject and he could easily multi task while solving numerous equations. He picked up the remote, which lay peacefully on his bed, and pressed the power button on the TV. It was set to the news channel, where he'd been last.
Suddenly, his eyes widened as he heard Takada report a, "Shibu Hakada" dead from a heart attack in the midst of a bank robbery. The man's photo didn't portray him as heavyset, in fact, it portrayed him as very skinny and athletic. A heart attack in such a healthy person, at such a young age?
"Unlikely," commented Klea to himself, laying down his math book on the bed to focus more on the television. The man had died in the middle of a bank robbery, about less than a minute after his name and face was reported. Similar cases had happened in America when Klea's brother and father died.
"Kira..." Klea hissed, staring intently at the TV. "But is it the original Kira, or a different one? This matches the original Kira's personality, to kill such a man, but perhaps an imitator? There's not enough information to deduce which is the case. Regardless, this is further proof that someone with Kira's power lies out there. If only I had resources other than knowledge to find him or her...."

*listens to the news of the death of Shibu Hakada and laughs*
Later that she takes a shower and cleans up and feels freshen up.
"Sapphire, about time you used your Death Note again, keep people on their toes, that way they may continue to think that Kira is alive," Kei says to herself as she walks to Sapphire's house.
*she walks to Sapphire's house, looks around and knocks, hoping she's home*
