[- Adrianna -] "Well, what are you waiting for, Stinkteo.." Adrianna asked impatiently, crossing her arms in front of her. "That sugar is not going to find itself..." She purposefully glanced around the room, avoiding looking at the sugar itself, but instead looking towards the cabinets.

Once she started her sentence, Matteo darted around the kitchen. As he followed her gaze, he quickly ripped open each of the cabinets and peeked inside. The sugar was not to be found. From there, his eyes started sweeping the counters for any hints of the sugar. There were random containers about which he quickly looked in. Nothing so far. "Hmmm," he mumbled, a little aggravated. "You're kitchen is very organized, yet nothing is where it belongs!" He continued his search, checking every other nook and cranny among the room.

[- Adrianna -] She certainly had fooled him, and she couldn't help but smile when she thought of the look on Suds' face when he saw what Matteo had done to his kitchen. "Oh, you'll never find the sugar at this rate, Stinkteo," she chuckled, "and I'm going to enjoy those brownies even more."

With a frown on his face, Matteo turned to face her again, this time with his paws on his hips. "Anymore from the peanut gallery, and I'll have to steal some sugar from you." Quickly he winked at her and whipped back around, his eyes scanning over the room one more. "I think I've given up," he said with a growl. Then, just as he finished his sentence, his eyes landed on what could be the sugar. "Unless, that could be it?" he questioned, glancing over at Adrianna with a curious face.

[- Adrianna -] "Steal sugar? It appears to me that you are stealing sugar. I mean, I'm certainly ot giving it to you, if that's what you mean...?" She smiled and continued to watch him search until she noticed him watching the container that held... the flour. Then again, it was directly beside the sugar container... "Well, Stinkteo, why don't you check it and see?" She only regretted that she didn't have the time to rig one of the containers to blow up in his face...

Immediately Matteo smirked at her bit of an airhead moment. Shaking his head, he replied, "I wasn't talking about...Oh, forget it." By his terminology, to steal 'sugar' from a female meant to steal a kiss, but he decided not to tell Adrianna that bit of information. Especially since this particular female seemed to have a testy temper. A moment later he turned back around and picked up the container he questioned about. As he opened it and took a sniff, he frowned again. "Flour," he muttered, then turned to the next container. Picking it up, he took another sniff...and grinned.

[- Adrianna -] Drat. He had found it... Did this mean she was going to have to... 'bake brownies' with him...? "Ewwww, gross. What kind of weirdo are you, sniffing flour and sugar like that? Am I to assume that you don't even have a measuring cup of your own?" She sighed, pushing herself off of the door frame. "Well, I may be mean, but I'm honest. A deal's a deal Stinkteo... Want to..." she shuddered, but forced herself to continue, "bake some brownies...?"

Matteo shook his head at Adrianna's remark. "It's normal to sniff or taste the ingredients you work with," he mumbled, slightly disappointed. "How does a female not know things about a kitchen? Now that's weird." Whipping back around, he placed the sugar on the counter and started searching for the other materials needed, mainly the mixing bowl. Still, the whacked out placement of this kitchen confused him and almost made his head hurt. "How do you find anything it here?" he asked, still searching through cabinets.

[- Adrianna -] Adrianna could only stare at this most rude of houseguests... She did not turn her gaze for many moments before responding coldly, "I do not do such lowly tasks such as cooking and cleaning, and definitely not organizing the kitchen. That is all the work of my dear little Suds, the brainless monkey spawn." She did, however, know where to find some of the ingredients needed for brownies, because, whether she liked to admit it or not, Anarchy had forced her to help with various concoctions in the past. Now that was a Fae you did not say no to. "Ok, fine, I have the butter, eggs, and chocolate for you. Happy Stinkweed? I think you can finish the rest, don't you?" She smiled and patted his head softly before turning to sit in a nearby chair and watch as he blundered through the kitchen.

While letting out a heavy sigh, Matteo reluctantly went silent. Considering this wasn't his home, he finally realized Adrianna didn't deserve as much rudeness as she was getting. Then again, it was a part of his nature, and therefore couldn't be helped. "Brainless monkey spawn?" he smirked. "How sweet you are to your, uh, roommate I'm guessing?" Grabbing out the milk, he placed it on the counter next to a mixing bowl he finally found. When she went to sit down, he merely shook his head and let her do so. Matteo began measuring out the ingredients and mixing stuff together. "Would you like to lick up the extra chocolate once it's done mixing?" he asked with a bit of a smirk.

[- Adrianna -] At Matteo's first comment, Adrianna actually produced a true grin, which was quickly replaced by a scowl. "Roommate? I'd tear that fluffball's insides out if I had to room with him. No, I do believe housemate is a more fitting term. We don't even live on the same floor..." Matteo's second comment did not even produce a grin, but a full-blown grimace. "How old do you think I am, kid?" she spat, grabbing the still chocolate covered spoon and hitting him across the head with it. Only lightly, of course; her intention was to get chocolate on her house guest, not bruise him. No, that could wait until after he had made her brownies.

Still stirring the brownie mixture, Matteo chuckled. "I can certain tell you dislike him, whoever he is," he replied quietly. "It's very similar in the cottage I live in. Each of us have our own separate rooms, which is much needed." After a moment, he started searching for the pan to bake them in. Of course, it was still so strange at how unorganized this kitchen was, aggravating even. If he had known the residents a little better, he would have gladly taught them how to organize.
The sudden smack atop his head made Matteo glare at Adrianna. "One can never be too old for chocolate," he growled, slightly annoyed. He was doing most of the work and still getting her rude remarks. How unfair! "Whatever," he finally grumbled then scraped the brownie mix into the pan. Within another minute, he had thrown the pan into the oven and set a timer. "They should be done...soon, I hope. What shall we do while we wait?"

[- Adrianna -] As the brownies were put into the oven, Adrianna could not help but lean forward and sniff them. They would smell much more delightful as they were cooked, but she did enjoy the chocolaty smell even now. It almost made her feel bad for being so rude to Matteo, considering all he had done was to make her brownies. That is, almost. "Well Matteo you could try getting some milk. Sheesh, whoever heard of brownies without milk?" She smiled in her familiar mean way, nodding her head towards the refrigerator. "You think you can at least find that in this unorganized kitchen...?"

With a bit of a "hmph", Matteo turned back around to the cabinets that he knew contained the cups. Grunting, he pulled two down and dropped them on the counter. "You could be a little more pleasant, you know," he said without glancing at Adrianna. Instead he turned back to the fridge to get the milk out again. Noticing the small amount left, he grinned. Matteo picked up one of the cups, inspected it for cleanliness, then poured himself a full glass. He mimicked this action for the second, but without surprise, it didn't fill the other cup. "Hmm, that is a problem. There's only about half a glass, here." Without hiding his grin, he reached to hand her the half-full glass and grabbed the one sitting upon the counter for himself.

[- Adrianna -] "Oh, that is a problem," Adrianna said, standing beside Matteo. "But I do know an easy solution," she added, swiping the full glass from him and walking away. "See, problem solved," she said with a smile, sitting at th etable with the glass of milk in front of her.
