A green blur?
It all happened so fast. One minute, Bijou was walking in the mud, the next she was being dragged off by a green figure. The figure grabbed her by the neck and she was unable to see what it was. Bijou's heart skipped a beat and she believed than an Oni and found her. Then she realized that it must be another Kuniku. They seemed to be heading towards a shining ball, or that's what it looked like.

When they arrived at the glowwing ball, Bijou looked up through her wet hair and saw that there were many Kuniku. What a relief! The green one had saved her from the storm. "T-thank you!" Bijou said coughing a little. She felt much safer now, now she was in a group. "I'm Bijou." she said getting up on her shaking legs. Looking, noticed that the other Kuniku was much larger than herself.

Saza did her best to keep up with the others as they all walked toward the caves. She had nearly been blown over by the wind several times, and her short legs didn't help her at all when it came to avoiding the large puddles of water and mud. Her ears perked up as she too heard the noise Dimi had spoken of. Before Saza could say anything, she saw Dimi dash off in the oposite direction. "....." Saza opened her mouth to call something after Dimi but shut it after changing her mind in a split second.

Saza looked through the rain as best as she could before spotting Dimi returning with something pink in her jaws. "...a kuniku?" She said, a frown of confusion on her face. Indeed, a female kuniku was being carried by Dimi. Once the unknown kuniku had been placed on the groud, Saza finally got the chance to get a very good look at the female.

Pink fur, differently shaped ears, and a striped tail. Saza took in all of these features, but what obviously stood out the most were Bijou's beautiful butterfly wings. Saza had only seen kuniku with feathered wings before, but then again they were only pups like herself! Bijou appeared to be a mature adult, despite her small size. Saza caught herself staring at Bijou and forced herself to look away so as not to be rude, without introducing herself to the newcomer.

Although he was still being soaked, Inari felt much safer in between the strong bodies of the other Kuniku. As long as he didn't slip over in the mud, it seemed that he would make it! He sighed in relief, but was cut off as the green Kuniku named Dimi suddenly parted and rushed away from the group. He scowled, what on earth was she doing?

She returned with another, smaller Kuniku however, and Inari decided to let it slide. The more Kuniku he could get to safety, the happier the Gods would be after all.

"All right, you, the new one!" He called over the howling wind, referring to the winged female. "You come in the middle, you're small. Everyone, keep walking! And don't go too fast or you'll slip!"

Masao bent his head slightly as the shield was put down and the wind and rain began to pummel at him. Everyone had moved into their designated positions, ready to begin the arduous trek to the caves. But once they started moving they barely got even three steps before Dimi disappeared into the storm. What on earth? Masao came to an abrupt halt and stared after her.

Then she returned, carrying a pink, pretty Kuniku. At first he thought it was another pup but he soon noticed it had the sleek coat of an adult. She certainly was extremely unique. Masao didn’t let this distract his thoughts for long.

“Okay, we have to keep moving.” Masao waited a second to make sure everyone was ready before he began walking, the path clear in his mind. Together they left behind the beach and began travelling across drenched fields.

"Sorry for any worries I caused" Dimi said to the group, "there just wasn't enough time to explain what I heard and go after it before we got too far away."
Dimi get back into position, motioning for Bijou to follow and join them in hte middle. With everybody assembled they started walking again. This time Dimi wasn't going to dash off after 3 steps.

((OOC- Agreed with Hyz, sometimes I feel like I'm being crappy and barely post and have to make super long ones to make up for it. xd
Also- Emil is so obsessed with girls. I probably have way too much fun with that part.))

Dimi had to be crazy, of that Emil felt sure. The way she just took off without a second thought to go help anyone and everyone, the way that she heard the cries for help that even his fairly sharp ears hadn't detected, the way she took off in a blur... it felt very surreal for Emil.

Luckily, she was back already, with someone that made Emil's heart skip a beat and his jaw drop a little. He already knew several very pretty girls, but he had never seen anyone that looked like this before. She was small and delicate like a flower blown from glass. And she kept her wings after she got older; how sublimely beautiful! Like stained glass windows. And that name Bijou stood out like a gem among pebbles.

After Inari stuck her in the middle, Emil moved his placement a bit so that they were shoulder to shoulder. Or rather, leg to shoulder. Emil was quite a bit taller. He felt a little nervous. What did he say to her? He tried to start off with a reassuring smile.

"H...hi Bijou. I'm Emil. I... um... I really like... no, wait, I mean... you're really... I like your... wings?" he said with a little stutter. No, no, this was all wrong! He sounded like such a dope. There had to be something he could say. Something clever, a witty observation, anything!

"...Some weather we're having, right?" popped out instead. He tried to give a little laugh, which only made it sound more ridiculous.

((Emil is so cute xD ))

Small.
It seemed like others were always calling her that. Looking around, Bijou could see why. Everyone around her seemed much larger. (Not fat but tall xP ) She wasn't that small, was she? Plus she had always liked to think of herself as 'petite'.

This matter was trivial at the time and Bijou felt much better in the middle of the group. From there she could keep walking safely and see the other Kuniku around her. Beside Bijou was a pup, she had wings as well and really curly hair. Both features were a cute combination for a pup. Another creature was in the middle too, but Bijou wasn't sure what it was. She only knew that it didn't look like a Kuniku. There were many other Kuniku around her. The green one, one with brown and tan, and even another pink one! They were certainly a colorful bunch.

A male can up beside Bijou and she had to look up to see him. He introduced himself as Emil and seemed to studdered quite a bit with it. Bijou let out a little laugh, "Thanks," she replied trying to move her soaked wings, "But they're pretty useless right now huh?"

Bijou would not be able to fly until her wings dried off. "I've never been in weather like this before," she said to his last question, while she tried to move the hair from in front of her eyes. Bijou realized that she must look worse than terrible from the wind and rain.

Emil couldn't take his eyes off of Bijou. Even sopping wet, she was enchanting to him.

"Yes, your wings are pretty. I mean they're useless... in the rain. That's where they're pretty. I mean useless. Heh, the weather is something terrible. This storm has sapped all of my cheerfulness and good jokes. We'll be able to talk more when we make it to the caves at least. I mean... if you want to."

How in the world did he manage to be so embarassingly awkward at a time like this? Here he was, struggling against the storm, trying to survive and talk to this girl, and he picked this particular moment to develop a stutter.

Tithe was suprised at the sudden appearence of yet another kuniku.
Only a few days ago she thought she was by herself on this island.
Funny how a storm can make new friends.

The new female was beautiful. Tithe would normally have been a little jelous, if it wasn't for how wet and helpless she looked. (Tithe probably looked like this herself.) It seemed as she hadn't had many rough experiences with water.

It was impossible to hear what Emil was saying, but she saw he looked a little flustered. "Never get sick of the ladies, eh?" She called out, with a smile.

Even though they were only a few steps forward, they seemed to be going at a decent pace, as if they were going to make it.

Orion cried out as his battered body was tossed around by the malicious sky, wings useless in the torrential rain. It was useless, he told himself. Why did he ever even try to take flight in this mess!? Sure, his bird wings might have been stronger than those Kuniku he remembered being born with fairy wings at his birthplace, but -- still!

He yelped as a particularly strong gust snapped a leading feather, then - finally! He saw land through the mess of clouds he had been flying through. Desperately trying to get his flight under control, Ori struggled to pull in his wings and go into a pseudo-dive - but the wind prevailed, yet again.

Soaked to the skin, Ori dropped.

"ARRGGHH!" he yelled, frantically. He was a mile up, half a mile, a quarter of a mile... He winced and made one last attempt to open his wings.

The wind caught, and they snapped out with an audible click. However, there was still the problem of his incredibly fast descent speed...

"Omph!" Ori hit the ground. Or rather --

"Oh! Sorry!" A group of Kuniku were staring at him. He'd just slid down their backs. "I-I- sorry!" he said again, head still spinning from the sudden descent. "I'm- I'm- Orion... at your service." The world spun. Ori fought to stay conscious, but had to sit, haunches down.

"They are pretty normally," she agreed with a little chuckle. Emil seemed a little nervous for some reason, this puzzled Bijou a bit. "Sure, we can take more later." It was pretty hard to hear over the sound of the wind anyway, which seemed to be blowing faster now.

The group kept on with a good pace until an unknown object fell from the sky. Bijou hadn't even heard anything coming, but something fell on the group of Kuniku. It was another Kuniku. He said his name was Orion, and Bijou saw he had wings too. Only they were bird wings, like the pup had. The fall seemed pretty bad and Bijou looked from inside the circle to see if he was alright. "I guess your bird wings weren't much better than my butterfly ones." she said a little too bluntly, hopefully he wouldn't take offense to it.

"......" Saza remained silent despite Orion's startling arrival. He had nearly crashed into her, but still she made no sound to show she was shocked or confused. Another kuniku with wings? The thought ran through her mind, and she gave the third winged kuniku in the group a curious look. He looked, well different. Not ugly or anything, but his facial fur was a bright yellow with orange cheek spots, while his body fur was a soft gray with white forelegs. Oddly enough, she found his features handsome in a unique way.

Saza frowned a little, wondering how this many kuniku could possibly get through the storm without someone getting hurt or seperated. "Let's keep going." she said, not wanting to stop moving toward the caves. The sky was still filled with dark clouds, and the wind was just as ominous as before. It didn't seem like the storm would end for a while, so she figured it would be best if they found shelter and sat it out.

(( o: Emil! How you betray Sanyu so easily! Heh, though she's so naive she probably won't notice. XD ))

Everything to Sanyu was just such a blur. She was herded into a nice warm space, where the rain and wind ceased. But all too soon that was gone, and the female vaguely noted it was a bright white fox who was the source of the protection. Subconciously she harboured a dislike for the creature, not because of anything personal, it was merely her time as a pup where one of his relatives (or so she thought) scared her from her home. The indirect thoughts soon passed from her mind as she was put somewhat near the middle of a, now rather large, group of Kuniku. So they were headed to the caves...

((Ack. I have to get off, but I'll continue tomorrow!))

((OOC: Perhaps it's a case of mistaken identity? Emil is color blind and thinks it's actually Sanyu! ...-worst excuse ever-))

Emil blushed scarlet when Tithe's words reached his ears. Or, at least, he would have if his skin was visible underneath his fur. Was he that transparent?

'Probably,' he thought to himself. But at least they were almost to the caves. She wanted to talk to him more! That alone created a little seed of warmth in his stomach that no storm could blow away.
He saw Sanyu then, just for a second. She wasn't standing very far away from them. He felt a little guilty, but then again, Sanyu had never seemed very interested in him as hard as he tried. She was always so worried about Masao anyways. Maybe, as much as he loved her, she would never care.

Emil's thoughts were interrupted when he almost jumped out of his skin due to the unexpected landing of yet another kuniku with wings. His fur was white, and white it didn't hold the mysterious luminance Inari's did, it did contrast a great deal against the mud and cloudy sky.

"Are you alright?" he asked, stepping out of their rank a few feet and extending one arm out helpfully to the fallen Orion "Do you need a paw up? That looked really bad."
