((soz posted the red in the wrong thread. gunna take a bit to post. my comps got a bug and i'm useing my sisters laptop))
mink looked up and could just make out a ledge above her a small hint of green.
after stuiding the rocks carfully mink planed the best route for her climb.
~if only i hadn't promised the docter i'd not use my wings for another few weeks~mink thought popping the trap down safley.
before starting her climb up the mountin face.
mink felt the sun beeting down on her back as she climbed closer to the ledge.
Reaching the ledge mink looked at several plants all simler looking.
~now what one's cat n**?~ mink said out loud to her self.
~i can tell you........ for a price.~ came a soft voice from a hole in the rock wall.
mink nearly lost her footing as a small snake came out of the hole.
~and what would that be?~ mink asked hoping it would be somthing she could do.
~get me off this ledge. i was dropped here by an falcon and i cant slither down the rocks. so get me down and i'll tell you whats catnip.~
mink thought it was a good trade and after a a while both were ready to go.
Mink reached the bottem alot quicker after missind a foot hold 2/3rds of the way down and having to glide the rest of the way.
Puting the snake down on the ground and picking up the traped mice mink
made her way over to Pavel.

Pavel looked to her as she came back down with the cat n**. Then he spoke once again wtih urgency in his voice. "Come Minkey, the sun will set soon. When it sets she sleeps."
With that said Pavel turned, and led Minkey to the grove. "Be strong of heart or you'll falter..." Pavel said this as he led her to the center of the grove where Mother tree was.
Pavel stood towards the center as Mother Tree spoke. "You made it, and about time..."

mink followed Pavel and nodded at what he said.
mink stood back and looked up and mother tree.
~wow~mink thought and fought the feeling to run she had to be brave for her little one.

Mother Tree looked to Minkey with a rustle of the trees a soft sigh could be herd as she spoke. "Child, are you not ready? I detect something about you..." Mother tree paused for a moment, and then continued. "Cats can not be contained for long. Cats are very curious creatures... Expecially the larger ones. They like to hunt." Mother trees leaves shifted a bit, and so did the figurine in Minkeys pack before Mother Tree continued. "Cats are cunning, and skilled at hiding. You have taken on a large task. You should never run from then, as you seem intended to do from this grove. Old yes, Wide yes... Stupid no." Mother Tree coughed a bit, and spoke again. "Enough of my chatter young one. Once you are out of the grove, and have unpouched your figurine it shall transform. Pavel will lead you out." Her last words were soft spoken, and soon after she had fallen fast asleep. Minkey had no time to question only to listen. Once Mother Tree had finished, Pavel led her from the grove. Once out, and Minkey did as told...

mink looked down at the figurine in her hands and smiled.
when far enough away from the grove mink let the two little mice out of the cage and watched them dart for cover.
~well~mink said to her self stroking the figurine ~it look like i have alot of work to do.~

Pavels hooves scrapped at the ground just out side the door of the HQ. Perian was leaning her human half out the window.
"So, Pavel you think Lazuli, and Garrett are ready?" Perian questioned.
Pavel grunted, and spoke up in a sarcastic tone. "If they were not, then I wouldn't be here..."
Both looking sky ward. "Almost time." Perian sighed, and stoped leaning. She called out. "See you inside shortly. I'll get some cookies, and juice together."

*Garrett comes on the island holding Lazuli's hand as he spots Pavel and KHC talking to eachother. He looks over at Lazuli and says* "There they are"
*They walk towards her, they break their hands apart as he looks at Pavel and nurvously touches him* o.o "Hello, And hello to you KHC" *he waves at her*

Perian leans back out the window hearing people. "I think you've mistaken me for my mother. I am Perian. Ceres is around back. But it is me, and Pavel you are here to see."
Pavels arms are firmly crossed, as he looks them over. "Perian is waiting for us inside." He then opens the door, and leads them to the sitting area.
Perian is quick to set the table. "You two make a lovely couple."

Perian smiled soflty. "I take it then that your figurine is safe, and un harmed?"
"Perian you like to speak the obivious don't you?" Pavel rolled his eyes with a snort.
Perian, sighed and shook her head. "Well some people arn't as straight forward, or sarcastic as you..."
Pavel stoped short and looked to Garrett and Lazuli. "You'll need to locate a bell of some sort."
Perian giggled. "Simple enough I supose. You can look around here if you like, or else were. We'll wait here for you."

"ofcourse we kept it safe ^_^. Infact Lazuli has it with her." *Elbow nudges Lazuli in the side, he does this softly as an indication that she should show them for proof*
"Ok so you want us to find a bell, Yea that shouldn't be to hard?" *he stands up beside Lazuli and stretchs a bit, then kisses Lazuli's cheek* "I guess we should start searching for this bell Kitten"

*nods* Oh, yes! I have the figurine, right here.
*lifts the padded pouch hanging from her belt, and carefully removes the figurine to show them* We've kept it very safe. 3nodding
*she tucks the figurine safely back into the pouch, and stands up, taking Garrett's hand* Ok, let's go find a bell, hunny. There must be a bell around the island somewhere.
*waves to Perian, and Pavel* We'll be back as soon as we find the bell!

*Garrett snickers at Lazuli, knowning she had to keep the Figurine safe, cause he is very clumbsy around those type of objects*
*Garrett looks at Lazuli, and kisses her cheek again, the says "you go there by the stables, and I will look over here in the feild and woods area. They split up and he wonders around the feild, looking under every tree, in every hay bail, and even in places you wouldn't believe.
Finnaly he spots something that catchs his eye, he pounces on it...* "Ooo an Acorn! "
*looks up at the slightly clouded sky and sighs.* "I hope Lazuli is doing better then me"
