gothic_emoness101 I looked over at Lucas confused. Finally getting it, I smiled at the joke. A little late, but hey, I got it eventually. "What else do we need to do here?" I asked, turning slightly to face Lucas. I didn't completely turn my back on the new guy, keeping him in my perrifial vision, just in case he decides to attack again. I looked over at the guy, not wanting to be rude, and genuinely interested. Holding out my hand, I smiled up at him. "I'm Nova. What was your name again, I didn't catch it." I said. "Deon Finato," I said bluntly As a walked toward the mangled bodies and pulled out my razor. Now most people's razors are just for calling people mines a fulll computer and gernade. I started a spectral arau scan and found several small traces of arau energy. "Damn," I thought. Hey, you, ya, you the one who thinks he's good with a switchblade. I have a feeling you hate me so I'll make this quick I have to head back to my appartment to check these spectral readings and I'll get back to you later."

Dropping my hand, I blushed lightly. "What an a**." I mumbled, looking at Terry and Lucas. I wondered if anyone had heard my comment, and I hoped Deon had. Maybe he'll think about how he comes off more if he did, I thought as I watched him work quickly. He already annoyed me.
((Sorry it's a short post, can't think of anything to type. lol))

"You bet." I'm usually a nice person, but the guy was being a royal a**; going over everyone like he owned the place. "And here I thought working with Charles was bad..." I sighed; suddenly the vampire was starting to look nice and polite in comparison. I should have used a muting spell with the disarming one...

I have a feeling you hate me so I'll make this quick I have to head back to my appartment to check these spectral readings and I'll get back to you later." "Oh, well, aren't you so smart with your fancy little spectral readings?" I sneered. No spectral readings were as good as trained Watchers. Sure, he might be a Watcher, but non-New York Watchers, the ones who were actually trained, really well, didn't need that new aged bullshit. Sure, Deon and I were probably roughly the same age, doesn't mean I couldn't be old-fashioned.

I snorted in laughter, trying to hide it. I found it funny how rude the two were to each other. Neither seems to like eachother much, I thought as I watched Deon's face, looking for a change in emotion.
(Another short post. Ahhhh.... I'm having major writer's block lately.)

(haha, it's okay; this one will be short xd )
I couldn't help but smile at Nova's laughter. Sure, I may not have known her that well, but she was a sweetheart. Hell, if I wasn't still interested in Terry... Ugh, best not to be distracted by those emotions at this time.

"Mave, I'm scared... what if she comes back?" Phoenix asked, nearly in tears. Mave scowled into the night air ahead of her as they strode, side by side, down the street. "I won't let that... thing get to you. You know that." Phoenix stopp dead in her tracks. "But you said that last time!" she yelled, completely out of character. "You said that last time, and all you did was drag me along so we could hide. She... it... almost found us!" "Phoenix, I don't have time for this, and if you aren't coming, then so long, nice knowing you. I'm not staying here as long as that thing is still out there, tracking whoever else they are out to murder, in cold blood, like they've done right in front of us. They know we saw, and I don't think that it's going to like having witnesses. Are you coming or not?" With a tiny whimper, the younger sister followed the elder in the nighttime shadows of the willow trees.
