Lovely to meet you all!
I am Prodigal Daughter, otherwise known as Amalie. (I am not copying EA, by the way, Amalie is what my mother wanted to name me, but was overruled by my father)
I am fifteen years old, and not really label-able, as whether I act Lolita, Steampunk, Gothic, or whatever else really depends on the day, my mood, the stars... Anyway, I am an aspiring film/telly actor, and I also sing, write, draw, design, crochet, and sew.
The music I like is a wide and varied field, due to a father who is constantly playing something, so I won't even try to list it all. It includes Neko Case, The Decemberists, Blue October, t.A.T.u, Gackt, Tommy Heavenly6, and much more. There is, in fact, surprisingly little music I dislike. I had never heard of Emilie Autumn before this guild, but you all inspired me to look up some songs on YouTube, and now I adore her. I'll have to have a look at Rasputin.
Oh, and I am a total looney. A good-natured looney, though, I hope!

Hello. I'm Bethhy-May, or Bethhy. Both short for Bethany-May. I'm 15, turning 16 on 30th August 2008. I live in the UK.
I enjoy designing clothing and hope to make this into a career as I get older. Most items of clothing I buy end up being customized within the first few hours.
As for music, i'll listen to anything I like which is usualy metal, grunge, punk, horror punk or classical. I'm a sucker for a good soppy love song too.
I'm soon going to college to do a-levels in Physics, Psycology, Illustration Graphics and Photography.
Photography is a hobby of mine. I enjoy taking close ups of objects rather than landscapes or photographs with people in.
I must admit, I am somewhat of a science nerd. Mostly Physics.

I'm a really nice girl. I would think I'm easy to get along with but it's up to whoever I talk to, to decide.
I'm shy.
I hate school but I try to do my best because I want to do somerthing with my life(my hatred comes from the fact my teachers can't teach.....even the higher level classes I'm in suffer. It's sad)
I love photography. I love taking pictures of landscapes. It's calming and helps me think of all the good times.
I'm weird and if people get to know me well, they'll see why hehe.

I am 21 years old and live in Costa Rica, which is a lovely little country in Central America. I love my home :3
I am currently on my third year of university, studying Publicity/Advertising (I dunno the correct English name for the career) and also TV production.
As for what I like... Well,
I'm very much into gothic Lolita, actually most lolita fashion... actually i'm quite interested in japanese street fashion. It just has a charm :3 I also like to read about old fashion and manners :3
Other than my "victorian.esque-thingie", I like music as almost everybody, I draw (if you want commisions, plz contact me!), I read many random things and like to learn about anything, basically, even if it seems useless. I also love old Disney movies, fairy tales and such :3

Hi...
umm ok well my name is Bianca and I whish to be called bianca, or any nickname you guys wish to give me ^^ I'm 17 years old and I'm a senior in high school
I'm the black sheep of the family since I love gothic and victorian styles and things, although my parents don't let me dress how I wish I could =[ so I have to deal with only wearing all black most of the times, but hopefully that will change once I get a job
Things I like/love to do are: read, write stories and poetry, sketch, listen to rock/metal bands or classical music, I love the bands OTEP and bullet for my vameltine, love beethoven, any kind of gummy candy, red vines, alice in wonderland(did my englishs project on it), anime, roleplaying, vampires, blackroses, rain, black and white pictures, wicca, fantasy
Hmm I'm a hopeless romantic, who loves reading and writing love stories
I live in Nevada crying where its always HOT and sunny =( I want to live in Oregon since it rains alot and i LOVE the rain

im bad at introductions...well im not fond of them but here it goes
im 19 years old and like most on here a big Emilie Autumn fan
I love music i play flute(9years),picolo(9 years),violin(beginer sadly),a bit of piano, and a bit of guitar as well
I love art ive been drawing 11 years and i also enjoy photography, and writing in my spare time
I was actualy invited here long ago but at that time i had to much going on to be a active member and I recently decided to request to join needless to say im so happy to have been accepted to that i give a big thank you

I am old *cough*30*cough* I suppose, but I only just discovered that my love affair for an odd combination of history and science fiction was called "steampunk." To be frank, to find that it was "called" anything and that others adored it as well seems almost laughable it is so splendid.
Anyway, in my "regular" life, I teach, have my little furbabies, read too much, and spend a great deal of time in the hospital. But this is my escape. My escape even from my regular Gaian profile that is NOT dedicated to exploring this new part of myself.
I would very much like to live in an alternate Victorian world where I study all the creatures of the earth to be found by dropping down, even in remote places, by a small, self-piloted, balloon.
