"Silk ran after Delilah, hoping this wouldn't take too long." He followed her to an ominous looking cave, and starting having second thoughts about coming along.
Meanwhile, Meridian was waking up from his haze. He still couldn't distinguish reality from dream, and was having a difficult time grasping what was really happening. He tried to move about, but found that his limbs felt heavy, like waking waking up from a long paralysis.

"It's just a cave..." Delilah heard herself saying, unsure if she was trying to convince her traveling companion or herself. "Just a bunch of rocks."

"I wouldn't make any sudden movements," Sangula smirked at the dragon. "You'll experience a bit of dizziness, maybe some nausea, very common with blood loss..."

Meridian heard a voice that sounded like it was coming from far away. The last person he remembered seeing was Delilah, but it didn't quite sound like her. He was beginning to panic as he realized his movement was slow and heavy. This didn't seem like a good situation to be in.

The vampire grew still, listening to the dragon's heart as it began to beat faster, the ebb and flow of the blood coursing through the veins. "I've already fed but you're making yourself into a very tempting treat..."

Silk led the way, mostly randomly choose paths as there were many pathways, twists, and turns. He stopped a fork in the cave. "Which way you think?"

Meridian realized it was Sangula near him, and jolted awake. He struggled to move away, but found he only shifted backwards slightly. Whatever was he going to do now? Whatever caused him to be sluggish, was certainly not wearing off fast enough for him to make an escape. He didn't think he could breath any fire either.

"They both appear to be equally frightening," Delilah whispered. "The one of the left, do you think?"

"You should really stop struggling," the vampiress said smoothly suddenly appearing over the dragon. "It won't do you any good..."

"Lets do it!" He ran right in, and as luckn would have it, it was the right area. Meridian lay on the ground and Sangula towered over him. However, Silk didn't have any weapons and had no idea how to defeat a vampiress. "So, I don't suppose you know what her weakness is?" Luckily for them, no one seemed to realize they were there yet.

"You know..." Sangula taunted the dragon completely unaware that her lair had been penetrated. "At first I was just going to drain you dry, but after some consideration, I think it'll be far more fun to keep you alive..."

"Um, lure her out?" Delilah knew it wasn't the best idea but it was all she had for the moment. "The sun should be rising soon, right?"

"Have we really spent that much tme wandering around in the night? That seems like the best course of action, I think. Lets see, one of us can lure her out while the other stays behind and hauls the dragon out and blocks the entry to the cave so she can't get back in. What do you think? I think if we time it just right we have a pretty good chance to save him."

Delilah shifted nervously knowing her own sense of direction wasn't very good. She really did not want to get lost in the caverns as she was trying to lead the vampire away. "Do you think you would be able to do it?" she whispered, not wanting to put this other in danger but not knowing what else to do.

"I think I can do it. She doesn't know me and I wasn't around when he was taken, so maybe she won't suspect me." Silk stepped from the shadows and announced himself. "Hello? Is anyone around? I got lost in the woods and saw a light in the cave. I thought maybe you could help me find me way.."
