I Agree. Tom Morello is my favorite guitarist. I like the way he experiments with sound, and tries new stuff.

I think Billy Howerdel from A Perfect Circle and Ashes Divide is my favorite right now. I really like the atmosphere of his sound, especially in APC. There's a certain kind of moodiness in his music which I like. And he's great to watch live, he really seems to feel the music.

I like Eric Clapton, Tom Morello, the Edge, and Adam Jones of Tool also.

I think SRV is the best that I've seen or heard. His 11 minute version of Voodoo Child was amazing. If you can be so good at a Hendrix song that you have to make it longer and way more difficult to play then you have to be one hell of a guitar player.

I still like Stevie's version a lot more but that's just me.
