He set down his plate of pasta on a small table just inside. His eyes seemed to darken as if in anger. "You may not like the idea of us being related in any way, but at least warm up to it. You nearly died," Kyouya said, glaring her down. There was no chance he'd back down from this fight. Out of every confrontation he had ever been in, this one was probably the biggest in his life. "I may not deserve to call you family by your 'standards' but I won't turn my back on you." The Shadow King paused, watching his younger half-sister.

Kaggy rose an eyebrow and sat up, ignoring the pain that shot through. "'I won't turn my back on you'?" she mocked. "So what have you been doing for these past sixteen years? You have a brain Ootori--why do you think there are no pictures of you before the age of three? No matter what your father thinks, Fuyumi would have taken some. It was because you didn't live with the Ootori's until you were three--when your father died. Why does Fuyumi visit France every year? How often has she asked you about what you would do if you had a little sister?" Kaggy's lips curled wryly. "No, you chose not to notice or care. And as for the fact that I nearly died? It wouldn't be the first time--but then, now you know that, don't you?" Her glare intensified and her voice became dangerous. "Out, Ootori, before I do something drastic."

The Shadow King watched her for a moment, keeping silent. He knew what she was saying was indeed true. Kyouya had never before questioned the goings on in his family. Fuyumi had asked him several times as he grew up about having a little sister... and he had merely shrugged off the question, thinking that Fuyumi didn't want to be the only Ootori girl anymore. "You have visitors. I'll send them here," he said, grabbing the plate of pasta and walking out.

Kaoru paused, turning his head slightly to look at the woman. "He's busy. That's obvious. I figured I'd merely go home for now." Of course, 'home' wasn't really his home. It was merely the hotel where he was staying. For as long as Hikaru and him were fighting... he couldn't go home... and right now he felt about as alone as he could. He missed his brother... and right now... he wished he was here with him. Then he wouldn't fee... so alone.

Alcy's eyes widened as the food came into view: her mouth dropped open slightly, and a tiny, tiny bit of drool could have been seen leaking from the corner of her mouth, had anyone actually looked closely enough. A wide smirk very, very slowly spread across her face. "It would be a shame to let his generosity go to waste, wouldn't it? She took a batch of sushi and a large serving of a stir-fry, squealing with glee at the discovery of a 24-oz bottle of Mountain Dew. She hummed a bit as she followed Watari to a table, and immediately began to scarf down her food.
((I think... Alcy's way too happy right now. And Kyouya in scrubs is pretty damn hawt. 8D
.... Oooooh-ho-ho-ho, what would Tamaki look like in scrubs? I think I just got shivers down me spine.

Watari smiled and couldn't help but steal a piece of sushi off her plate once she sat down. "You seem rather happy, Alcy-chan," he replied, before eating the sushi he'd stolen.

Kyouya headed down to the cafeteria where he had sent his friends. Upon entering he instantly saw Watari and Alcy munching away. He sighed and walked over. After that little spat with Kaggy, he was not at all up for dealing with people. "She's awake if you want to go see her. Room 413," he said, stopping at their table. The Shadow King noticed there was only two of them, and knew someone had gone off. Then again... if Okami did wander off, Kyouya knew the staff would find her and bring her to him. Although, she had been identified as one of his friends and would probably be taken to Kaggy.
The Shadow King looked down, feeling his pager vibrating on the belt of his pants. He read the number and short message, seeing it was from his surrogate mother. "I'm sure you know where that is. If you'll please excuse me, I have other business to attend to. I'll drop by Kaggy's room later to check in on you," he said, turning on his heel before another word could be said and walking towards his office.
The woman looked at Kaoru and shook her head. "Hm. So you are the young man Kyouya keeps speaking of," she said, smirk sliding onto her face. "Follow me." She pulled Kaoru along behind her and through the employee doors towards where she knew she could contact the young Ootori. Pulling out her own pager, she sent him a message and headed towards his office.

Watari nodded and gave Kyouya an almost imperceivable nod. "Thank you, Kyo-kun. Take your time. We won't go anywhere so don't rush yourself!" he called to his retreating friends back. Kyouya would be able to come to him when he needed him. Watari knew Kyouya knew that much. So until then, he be there... with an open invitation.
Kaoru blinked, his eyes a little overly wide at this new situation. He was actually being dragged along by a woman who seemed rather slender and beautiful... and yet had a smirk that was very much reminiscent of the Shadow King. Yet one thing seemed to keep ticking in his mind... and made him speak. "Kyouya... talks about me?"

Alcy twitched, but otherwise ignored both the stolen piece of sushi and the "chan" that somehow had been tacked onto her name, instead struggling to swallow the large amount of food that had somehow made its way into her mouth. "Well, yeah. I haven't had access to food this good in a long time, and Kaggy's going to be alright." She grinned. "What reason do I have not to be happy?" Then Kyouya pretty much breezed through the room, and she continued to eat.

It took a few seconds for a) Okami's heart to stop hammering and b) for her to completely, without a doubt sure that Kyouya was gone. As soon as both things happened, however, Okami rushed out of the empty hospital room, paused, and then slowly entered Kaggy's room.
She was pretty sure Kaggy didn't notice her entrance, so Okami announced herself.
"Ahem. Kaggy?"

The woman nodded, glancing back at Kaoru with a smile on her face. "Yes, he speaks of you often. There are times when he is in his office, an almost giddy look on his face as he speaks about you," she said, stopping at Kyouya's office. Peeking in the window she saw the young man sitting at his desk. "Go on in, hun. He's waiting for you." As soon as she had come, she quickly disappeared.
"Ah, Kaoru-kun, please come in," the Shadow King said, gesturing to a rather comfy looking chair in front of his desk. He was looking at some file that lay before him, spread out on his desk. Kyouya sat back in his seat and looked at Kaoru. "You shouldn't beat yourself up about Kaggy, Kaoru-kun."

Kaggy looked up. "Okami!!" She grinned and gestured toward herself. "So...wanna help me break out of the hospital?"

Okami laughed, both surprised and relieved at Kaggy's quick revertion to normal, happy behaviour. (She had steeled herself for a much...moodier reception.) "Out? I went to an awful lot of trouble to break in in the first place..." She jokingly modeled the stark white doctor's lab coat she was still wearing. "And I doubt you could safely walk yourself out...Though I guess I could wheel you around- That bed has wheels, right?"

For some reason, Kaoru was having trouble pictureing what she was saying. It just wasn't possible that Kyouya, the Shadow King, could be giddy about anything. He moved into the room when he was urged from both people and he didn't look toward Kyouya. Instead, he stood near the door. "Why not? I've never wished ill of anyone before... but I did today... and then... it happened."
Watari laughed softly nodding. "Mm, your right. I guess that would be reason enough to eat your fill."
