Aubrey looked a bit surprised at Moreau's open display of affection (he was under the impression Moreau wanted to keep t heir relationship a secret), but didn't object. She took a hold of the Doctor's arm and flashed Sabin a very smug and self satisfied look.

Sabin quirked an eyebrow. In charge at all points in time. The doctor certainly would like to think that about himself, Sabin smirked internally. "If you say so..." Sabin said skeptically.... glancing between the two of them. What precisly had happened to turn things around so quickly? Aubrey was certainly happy, and if he could read the context clues half as well as they seemed to be blaring, she had good right to.
"So..." Sabin started, then grinned, deciding he didn't care and was more interested in what precisely they'd say than perhaps stirring annoyance "What exactly did I miss here? Last I knew you were ready to skin yourself a beach bum"

Moreau shot Sabin a very disapproving glare. Sabin was pushing too hard and frankely Moreau was not in the mood to justify himself to Sabin. He had respect for Sabin for teaching at Harvard. But Sabin did not have a medical or scientific degree there, he was not top of his class like Moreau and Aubrey. He was not... of their level.
After a moment he cleared his throat and spoke "Lets just say, I handled the situation." He scritched behind Aubrey's ears as they got downstairs.
"Now if your done interrigating your supervisors, would you care for some Tea Sabin?" Moreau gestered to the large living room area with the velvet chairs and couches.

Aubrey gave her purr like sound and smiled at Moreau in utter and complete adoration. She didnt' take her eyes off him, but there was definately a bounce in her step. She seemed more confident than usual, or maybe it was the red dress that gave her a more seductive appeal than her usual casual, laid-back persona. Or maybe it was just the afterglow. Whatever the reason, Aubrey didn't say a word but it still somehow seemed like she was ready to go marathoning down the streets singing or something.

Sabin smacked his lips and had to remind himself that here he WAS technically below them on the whole "chain of command" thing - at least as far as they were concerned, despite his "older and wiser"-ness. But whatever, he would allow Moreau that illusion of control if it was that important. Sabin was fully confident in his capabilities. But he honestly didn't want to ruffle any feathers - the work here was too interesting.
"Tea sounds wonderful" he smiled, almost overly ingratiatingly. "And I'm glad that you two" He cleared his throat with a knowing smile "worked out your frustrations."

Sabin's smug attitude about the situation was bothering Moreau very distinctly. He wasn't giving Aubrey or him their proper respect. Despite Sabin's attempt to not ruffle any feathers he was very quickly putting himself on Moreau's bad side as well.
"What was resolved or what wasn't isn't really your concern Mr. Duvert. Now about that Tea..." Moreau sat down on the large couch, pulling Aubrey with him.
He pushed an intercom. "Tea, and... hmmm Strawberries with cream. Now." then he pulled his finger off of it.

Aubrey went down on the couch with Moreau. "Thank you for your concern, Mr. Sabin," she said politely.

Sabin nodded and huffed. Well he wasn't having much of a sense of humor at all apparently. Shrugging he took a seat as well. "Well, I had thought that I might come up and check on you guys. It doesn't usually go for that long without hearing hide nor hair from both of you. Especially with such interesting.... events going on in the village."
He nodded to Aubrey, giving her a more genuine smile.

"I'm well aware of what has been happening in the village, and am very able to keep tabs on it on my own." Moreau smirked and then without a degree of sincerity finished his statement. "But thank you for your concern Mr. Duvert."
Sabin was grating on Moreau, but despite how upset he was he found some strange comfort laying their with Aubrey. In truth, much of his aggitation might have been having his time with Aubrey interupted, he honestly didn't even know himself. He felt, different like this with Aubrey... it was an odd feeling for a man that normally kept his emotions to himself. He felt more emotional, more prone to love or to anger.

Aubrey sighed. "I really feel about what happened earlier, Doctor. Do you think I could go talk to Mister Ambrose? I mean... there's no reason we have to be... insensitive." She put a hand on his knee. "I could talk to him, maybe get some personal observations. After all.. I know we could handle it and all, but there's no reason we need to start a riot if we can keep things placid."

Sabin felt the heat from Moreau's glare, and nodded cordially with a small smile. He was about to be even more indignant when Moreau at least did thank him for his concern. "Yes, well, you rather literally left the rest of us in the dark" He gave a small smile, attempting to pass that off as a bit of a joke. "And I knew that you would probably be rather upset if you had missed such a landmark event. Our first successful case!" The smile broadened.
Sabin looked over to Aubrey and his brow furrowed. "what happened?"

"I don't know Aubrey, I couldn't bear it if you got hurt and I'm afraid that these ruffians would be violent about the situation. I insist you atleast speak to him from the other side of the gate or take guards with you. Also do not forget the sleep command I have imputted into their chips." Moreau stroked Aubrey's hair softley already moving closer to her.
Turning back to Sabin. "Yes, it was a wonderful success. Moreau's mood brightened as just the thought of it had him lightly necking Aubrey. Of course, we had another today... that odd Indian." Moreau smiled, it had been a very busy weekend in many many ways.

Aubrey smiled and blushed a bit at his public display of affection. Not that she wasn't drinking it up. "Mister Ambrose seems to sensible, though. I'm sure I'll be fine. But I'll bring a gaurd if it would make you feel better. Please?"

Sabin scratched the back of his head, not 100% abreast on the developments. He had seen Pyroth's transformation as well, and wondered how the "inmates" would be taking to the changes...
"What did I miss...?" Sabin queried, wondering where the proferred tea had wandered off to.

Almost on que with Sabin's thought a servant walked in the room. He nodded to Moreau only and set down a tray with tea and the strawberries and cream. Moreau nodded back approvingly and took one of the strawberries and dipped it.
The servant went about serving the tea after that. Moreau took the dipped strawberry and put it to Aubrey's mouth. He had never known he could be this... romantic.
