The unicorn grinned at Dante at the realization. "Is that so?" Then, out of the corner of his eye he saw a flash of yellow. Waving down the cab, he turned back to Dante. "Shall we?" He opened up the door for the wolf - that was just the thing to do, plus he was not certain Dante could get in by himself.

Dante gave a nod. "It's true ~" He made a face. "Cant help it." Looking at the cab as it stopped in front of them he thanked Chance, trailing a hand across the others chest as he crawled in to the farthest seat, he gave the cab driver what he thought he remembered was his address. It was, but he had to think a moment for it.

Chance waited until they were both seated before replying. It was difficult to decide the right thing to say. If that was the case, it wasn't Dante's fault and he certainly had nothing to apologize for. "I wouldn't worry too much about it. You were fine tonight." In fact, he had milked those other guys dry, as if it had been his intention all along.

That was probably true ~ It had probably had been premeditated on Dante's part. At the compliment of sorts Dante gave a murr and a grin. "Thank you ~ I tried ~"

Chance smirked. "Well you got me to come home with you." As far as that was going to get him anyway. The unicorn glanced out the window, keeping an eye on the surroundings as they passed.

Lifting an eyebrow, Chance looked back at the wolf with a faint smirk. He was not sure how drunk Dante actually was... but if he was, well, Chance was not drunk enough to stay. The reasoning was less a case of whether he was stupid enough to go home with a stranger and more a case of not wanting to take advantage of someone who was swimming. It would have been different if they were both being drunk and silly. He chuckled. "Well see."

Dante had booze at home ~ tail flicking he eyed the other silently before looking at the driver ears, going back slightly. The wolf stayed silent momentarily as he looked out the window then leaned forward pointing to a estate of sorts. "Right there ~"
As the driver pulled up Dante smirked slightly at the other. "You wouldn't stay even if i asked you to ~" Giving a murr he thanked Chance and took some money out of his pocket giving it to the cab driver. He had handed enough for himself and for Chances ride home wherever he lived or where ever he wanted to go.

Chance angled his head to see the destination, his brows arching for a moment. Nice. He glanced back at Dante. He wasn't nearly as inebriated as he had appeared to be. Perhaps it was a ploy to get out of the bar, and perhaps it was a ploy to get Chance in the car with him. He smirked while the wolf paid the driver. Clever, clever.
Now, wait.
"He paid too much." He gestured to the driver, demanding the extra money back, then pressed it into Dante's palm. Leaning closer to the wolf, the unicorn murmured in his ear. He still wore a faint smile, really unsure what to make of him. "What, another attempt at charity?"

Dante's tail flicked as he stopped a moment. A smirk crossed his face as he took hold of the others hand that had returned the money. Canting his head slightly he murred into the others ear, "Possibly ~ Will charity get you to come inside with me?" That was his way of an invitation to come in.

Reflex flicked the unicorn's ear backward as the other breathed against it while he spoke. Chance's grin widened a little as his fingers curled around the other's with a squeeze. "No... but that smile might..."

The wolf crooned,"Then I promise to smile if you come in ~" Tail swishing behind him he took a step back, a bit reluctantly, but it seemed that one, they were running up the cab's meter and they wouldnt be getting very far in the position they were in at the moment.
((Is chance still in the car or did he get out.. o-O ))

"In that case..." Chance grinned at Dante and thanked the driver before stepping out of the cab. "After you, my dear," he murmured near the wolf's ear after coming alongside him and pressing a hand gently to his back. There was no need to worry about Dante after all; he was taking care of himself.

Dante gave an approving murr as his tail swished pleasantly behind him. He gave a small smirk as a shiver hit him at the murmur, starting to the door, going up the very small set of stairs, to the porch then to the house.

The unicorn flicked an ear and glanced at Dante as they climbed the stairs to the porch. Did he just shiver? He was not sure. When they got to the door he waited, tail flicking slowly back and forth.
