LucTheWindMaster The man grabbed Roarin's arm as he picked up the glasses. "I need those to see, thanks..." The man's voice was drowsy with sleep and his eyes clouded over, but he was waking up. Marius sat up facing Roarin as to keep an eye on him. "Thank you for waking me." It didn't sound like much of a thanks with that tone of voice. He couldn't hide his surprise very well as he flinched back a bit as the stranger's hand closed around his arm. He didn't like the man's tone and so Roarin just responded rather matter-of-factly, "I was just examining them." He expanded on that, " And you shouldn't have been sleeping in the middle of the road."

'Three members of the Order?!' Avalon thought. "Three... The most potent number, of course it has meaning!" She was mainly talking to herself. "Three members meeting in a forest at the time of the Black One... This is definitly something," Avalon said, turning to the two other members. "The two of you are aware, then, that the Prophecy is coming true?" 'And I am the harbringer of it,' Avalon added to herself.
She turned to the only one of their group who was not of the Order. "I don't know where you come in but you must mean something as well," she said.

At Soren's remark, Avalon couldn't help but be astonished. 'He knows nothing, does he?'
"There are many of the Order of the Prophecy scattered throughout Elim, though we have yet to centralize. I was just headed towards the capital of Avai to find out where we are setting up headquarters. If you do not know this, you were probably not inducted into the Order, so how did you get that knife?" Avalon asked. 'By the sound of it, he recieved it from someone without learning the secrets of the Order,' Avalon thought. As for Karah, her story was yet to be learned.

Its good that a Nightling didn't find me.." Marius glanced up at the other man. "....I hope.." "Nightling? Is that what they're calling the creatures I've been hearing about?" The man has piqued his curiosity. He knew it would be best if he could have some information about this enemy, "What can you tell me about these demons?" Roarin forced himself to hold back a little so that it didn't sound like a command.

He knew it would be best if he could have some information about this enemy, "What can you tell me about these demons?" Roarin forced himself to hold back a little so that it didn't sound like a command. Marius raised a brow but stood up and spoke anyway. "They are the denizens of the country to the far west. They prowl the night looking for victims... You should see what they do to people. Make them rip their eyes out in madness. Cause families to kill each other in delirium. They are the creatures of the night and they can haunt our dreams." His face was so cold talking about these creatures. "Really makes a person mad."

He said with new found vigor. It seemed Roarin was getting ahead of himself already. "Wait you said dreams. That is some wicked powers they have then. Is there anyway to defend against them there as well?" It appeared he could learn much from this man.

"Your father?" Avalon asked. She evaded the subject of Soren losing control of his powers; the look on his face made it clear it wasn't a pleasant subject. 'I guess I'm lucky then. The Order has protected me and trained me from the beginning, there was no opportunity for me to lose control,' Avi thought. "What was his name? I might know him," she asked. 'It would give him a degree of credibility, not that his face doesn't give it.'
The others in the clearing had been silent for a time. 'I know the significance of Karah, a third member of the order. But Maiu? What could the half-demon represent?' Avalon thought of the prophecy, trying to make sense of this.
None shall be spared... Master of of Dark and Night, of Cold and Anger. The Master of Evil will save us all...
Perhaps the Master is a demon? In which case the half demon would be of help... But if not, then what? Avalon went around in circles in her thoughts. 'Half demons, Nightlings, chance meetings, the Order... What does it mean?!'

Karah nodded. "It probably does mean something, sorry if my sarcasm was lost. I was planning on hiring on to a caravan going in Avai's direction to attend the meeting there. My parents were both in the Order and so I followed in their footsteps."

"Well, Maiu, you'll know where to find us. A normal greeting will be fine for next time," Avalon said to the half demon with a genuine smile. By now she had completely dropped her gaurd. She was among the Order, though they hadn't originally planned that for her.
"His name was Storm," Soren said as he started to uncover the left side of his face.
"So you're that Soren. Yes I have heard of you, though your scar and your fighting skill have preceded anything else I might have heard," Avalon said with a smile. He seemed uncomfortable about the fact he had lost control of his powers, and Avi wanted to ease that a bit. He may put up a tough face, but Avalon thought he seemed just as lost and alone as she was. "Since your an honorary member of the Order, you might as well come with Karah and me. What with the Nightling number rising, there is always safety in numbers," Avi said.
"Oh, ans since we've gotten to know each other a bit, I thought I'd let you know that I'm the Avalon of the prophecy. Just a little tidbit of info as to why I might end up attacked frequently by Nightlings," she said good-naturedly. 'I really like these folks,' she thought.
