Inazuman Frash Ash's dad is really Moe Syzlak. GASP!! I originally thought that it could be Giovanni... The quote in the second episode of the show where Delia tells Ash how it took his dad forever to get to Viridian City... And Giovanni is/was the Gym Leader of Viridian... Also, I'm not entirely positive... But I don't think Ash and Giovanni have ever met in the show. I'm trying to think back to the Mewtwo Returns movie, where Giovanni was hunting down Mewtwo and Ash was helping Mewtwo, but I don't recall if they saw each other or not... But, there's something from FireRed/LeafGreen to consider... when you're in the Rocket Hideout on one of the Sevii Islands, one of the Rockets there wonders if you were Giovanni's kid, but then goes to say that you couldn't be, as his kid had red hair... Which then leads to suspect Kamon (GSC rival) is Giovanni's son, as he has red hair and similar eyes to Giovanni (Okay, not a great piece of evidence, since other characters have that eye style, too... but, eh!)... Which could mean Kamon is part of the Ketchum family... Or perhaps from another wife of Giovanni (he divorces Delia?)... But... I'm mixing game canon with anime canon...

Sui Kune Oak! :3 Which would make Ash Gary's uncle. It would explain a lot of things, Delia is the village whore (in the words of Tracey: "Save some for me, Mrs. K!"), Oak is a dirty old man, and Ash is a retarded crackbaby. Any questions? :3 Did Tracey actually say that? I mean, I can't imagine he was talking about sex, or even love, but the idea of him calling her "Mrs. K" sounds really adorable to me for some reason. I don't really think much about who Ash's father might be, but I've entertained the theory that Gary's father is Giovanni for a long time. And the quote about his son being red-headed could hint to that.

I said that, brown hair, blue eyes, I was talking about the 4th movie and no one noticed...*hisses* domokun gonk and I can't remember, but I was once with a group on yahoo, and they had evidence that it wasn't giovanni (and I mean actual proof. It was with an interview with the japanese directors or something...O.o;;; ?? ) if i can find that post, i will show show, but anyhoo...

(Just let me get this out) Alot of the time when he and Jessie are dressed up in costumes he is wearing a dress and there is this line in the second movie which pretty much validates the fact he is gay. As for Ash's dad, I think they just added him in so that Ash does have a father figure but he is conviently not anywhere anyone can see him. He probably sacrified himself to save the world or something like that.
