"Well I...uhh," Neko had been caught off guard. Was that supposed to be an invitation? "I appreciate it, but I doubt I'll be welcome for long. I'm not exactly a crowd pleaser." Neko wasn't sure how to explain fully without giving himself away.

Yuki suppressed a short laugh. It wasn't cold, at least it wasn't intended to be, but now there could be no doubt. Though, instead of pressing further, Yuki only paid attention to their destination. As they had talked, they'd reached the church.
It was a rather small building, barely able to hold a hundred people if that. It looked old, but not in disrepair. Alongside it was the cemetery, surrounded by a simple iron fence. The gate was ajar, doubtlessly because Hitsu had left it partly open when she had entered ahead of them. Yuki let himself in, waiting to close the gate behind them simply out of habit.
Not many rows in, Hitsu had already taken to her task. The old, dead flowers from the week before had already been removed from in front of the headstone, placed in the basket to be disposed of after she'd laid down the fresh ones she had gathered that day. It looked like she was trying to organize them on the ground, though figuring out a pattern to it all was near impossible.

Neko grew silent as Yuki had started to laugh. At this point he realized he had probably divulged far too much information. Non the less he still followed Yuki to the church and moved inside the gate before it was close. It was a small place, nothing fancy, but it still had the elements of respect for the dead.
Watching Hitsu in her task Neko found that he wasn't sure what to say if he sound say anything at all. Would it be all that bad if he stayed in this village? At least these two seemed nice enough to encourage a total stranger to stay, but would their kindness last? Especially if they ever found out what he really was. As he mulled over these questions his brow furrowed giving him and outward appearance of being lost in thought.

Once the two had approached, Hitsu looked up to them. Despite the saddening atmosphere, she was smiling. "I think that looks nice." She said approvingly of her own work, and rose from the ground to dust her hands and gather the basket of withered flowers to take back with them.
"Yes, I'm sure mother will like those." Yuki commented softly, reaching out to take the basket to carry back himself. "You can go on home if you'd like, I'll be there shortly."
"I wanna say goodbye to Neko, too." She protested, apparently thinking he intended to come back alone. But, why wouldn't she think that the case?
He looked from Hitsu, to Neko, and back again. He didn't exactly want to get her hopes up, in case Neko was persistent about wandering off to his nonexistent home, but... He could only hope for the best. "Well, honestly... I was thinking that Neko might like to stay here with us for a little while." When he brought his attention to Neko, Yuki looked a bit smug. "What do you think?"

Neko was caught off guard and his face showed it. "Uh..me...stay?" He looked between the two for some time mulling over the countless ideas in his head. In one respect it would be nice to finally have a place to stay for more than a day or two. On the other hand there were risks, potential dangers that were against him and the people around him.
"Umm...sure?" Apparently the dangers weren't too great in his own mind to override his selfish need for a place to call home.

Yuki's smile broadened, "It's settled, then!" He put a hand on Neko's shoulder, to guide him back the direction that they had come before he had enough time to rethink his response. "We'll be happy to have you."
Hitsu walked next to Neko on his opposite side, skipping along and generally looking as though she was excited that they were going to have a guest staying over.
