Everyone here heard about Gackt using Sakura (formerly of L'arc en Ciel before his drug problem *cough*whichiswhyhegotbooted*cough*) to play the drums for one of the songs on his new album, right? They've been friends a long time (I'm guessing via Hyde, since Gackt and him were inseperable for the longest time. I think he misses him, now that Hyde's focusing on his family and all, I've noticed Gackt is 'collecting' single friends,lol. Poor guy. Anyway, back to topic), are Myspace buddies (lol), and this will be their first collaboration. I can't wait to hear Gackt's new album!

OLY CRAPOLA!!!... Masta Gackt has been so under the radar.
anyways... LJ Gackt Communities are all buzzing about his new single Jesus.
Q: Does it have any religious connections?
A: i myself wouldn't know... since he has done a small quick one call Maria from Rebirth. we all remember that one right?
Q: So is Gackt himself religious?
A: Uh... I don't know. Christianity in Japan is actually not a shock factor or a huge practice... least to my knowledge. So is he?... Guess we'd have to find out someday.
Q: So the new single "Jesus"... can you hear it on Youtube and such?
A: Honestly... I tried to find it, but it seems to be nothing. I only heard that people who had purchased his new DVD set, nine*nine... heard it. other than that... nothing really.
Q: So... since you say it is a new single... when is it out?
A:Errr... I know sometime in early November. Please check sites like HMV Japan and the official Dears site for release date... or if you can wait... i'll post it up here when i got the time.
anyways... that's all for now... since a single is coming, we can only suspect that an album is seriously in the making. anyways... that's all the news for now. enjoy!!!!!

anyways... nothing much has been happening in the world of Gackt. I just know that the December issue of Fool's Mate will have a double sided poster, one side of the GazettE and the other is Gackt with a huge but small cap that says "Gackt is Back!" he's been looking quite... punk? his hair is jet black now. um... no interview, just a poster. e~to... i mean, "ummm...."... oh... he's going to pose for the mag Pati Pati... look for it, out in December or earlier. so hot on the cover.
other than that... he's slowly making a come back. more to be updated as his single comes to a near. enjoy!

i don't know how huge a news this should be... but GACKT'S EYES ARE NOT HIS SIGNATURE BLUE!!!! eek don't know about you guys... but i find that to be of the slightest of shock. since it isn't blue now... it is my 2nd favorite color, grey. too bad i didn't get that color... it didn't look good on me, so i opted for a cross between his signature blue and ruki's (from the GazettE) almost white-blue... mine -> aqua. lol! okay back on track (so less about me)... the banner to Dears (the official site) is of him with grey eyes...
err... oh yes... the single, Jesus, will be released on 12/3/2008. the pv is out, and must i say... it is so rocking. his new attire for the pv... kinda reminded me of Green Day... don't know why. uhh... the song is suppose to be the song that will lead to his RRII theme thing (ie: his concert and so much more). the song itself is being circulated around the web (of course it is not the official release audio... but there are quite a few high quality rips). of course, i must also emphasis to go buy the single. we all know why. anyways...
so fun news... i didn't save the pictures, so i can't share, but i do know that places like Livejournal, possibly photobucket and some fansites did post them up. ummm... the news is that for Halloween, Gackt was the special guest for Hyde and Hyde's side band, VAMPS. Gackt was dressed in what else? an old-time military costume. can't picture it? think back to his Rebirth era. get it now? good. kehe. Gackt played the drums when VAMPS performed a number from an American band (the name of the band and the song title escapes me right now). uhhh... i forgot who dressed in what, but Gackt was military, the Vocal was in drag, the guitarist was in Gypsy... that's all i saw. go check it out.

Looks so close to Billie Joe's outfit through the American Idiot days.

My Gacktness... sorry for the not being on for so long. i've been so buried in finals and the fact that my laptop died so i got a new one... i've been having fights with my new comp. i think we are making good progress to be on friendly terms. anyways... lol... yes... i notice that the new look has been quite shocking. umm... the grey contacts seem to be a temporary thing. i think he is back to his usual blue. ah... Gackt will be all over the January issues of the bigger named magazines. He will be featured on the covers of Arena 37°C, Arena 37°C Special and Fool's Mate. i've seen the A37CS issue... it is very... Gothic... he's going back to his roots? anyways... A37C (the original one. A37CS is extended interviews and photo shoots) is the same photo theme, but different poses.. as the mag's site says "37 poses". I have yet to see the Fool's Mate one... haven't checked into my LJ Gackt communities. I don't know if it will have posters for those... i think no poster for A37CS. not sure of the other ones. my japanese sucks so... as far as i can understand... the other mags did not say. so possibly not. There is also news that Gackt's next new single will be titled "Ghost". the Dears version will be out on 1/21/2009. the public version will be out on 1/28/2009. the covers for both of them is... well... an anime-ish type terminator drawing with the eyes of the terminator to be a photo cut out of his eyes. umm... well... hard to describe here in words... so check it out for yourself here. ummm... other than that... nothing has been new much. i hope i filled you guys up so far with Gackt. i'll try my best to update as much as i can. Interesting cover. Wish I was near a Japanese import store. But nope...The nearet one is 2 hours away...Not sure if they carry Gackt Cds. And I think if I want a really good import store that's 6 hours away. *sighs* I can't win.

ah... i was tailgating about the new Gackt single, 「GHOST」. Though it isn't out yet, but you can definitely preview it in Youtube and his OHP. which brings me to the grey contacts... reason he is wearing it for the promotion of this single and the release of the Sarah Connor Chronicles DVD in Japan. oh yeah... about the song itself, it is very techno. fits very well with the promotion of the DVD. definitely check it out.
i have to say... he look awesomely hot with the simplicity of the outfit this time. i love him with jet black hair. and uh... does Gackt have four piercing on his... i think right ear? i don't know. i had to do a double-take cuz it just stuck out to me. anyways... check it out. it would be so worth the wait. whee

Not sure I'm liking this Ghost song too much. and don;t you find it weird that he's releasing this so soon after Jesus? It really feels like he's trying to regain his top celebrity status, and maybe a little too quickly.

umm... he has been away for a bit... i don't mind... all his songs are great listening. i'm always happy to welcome him back. (^-^)
but... Jesus... the sound of it... is really what he is trying to come out as.. that rock image. Ghost is off that idea. then again... Justified was tech-rock-ish. ummm... oooo~ he managed to confuse me again. that sly Gackt.
anyways... nothing much going on. There is a new interview Gackt was in... clips on Youtube. i heard it was funny. wouldn't know, haven't watched it.
