Kirsa looked in the direction he was pointing. "Yes! Let's go over there and take a look!" She grinned and began to head over that way. She was happy about finding a place to live, and she hoped they wouldn't have to look for too long.

Vana followed after Kirsa, hopeful that they would find a nice place to raise their family when they got it.

Soon they came to the overhang in the rock and Kirsa began to climb up, hoping that there would be a nice den up there for them to live in. They had just come from a nice grassy area, so if this would be the place where they would live, she knew it wouldn't be far from a play place, and chances are it would have a nice view too!
She took a deep breath as she reached the top of the over hang, hoping it would be a good place. It was nice and flat on top, and wasn't too high up. There was also a little cave in the side of the rock! She looked over and shouted happily, "Look! It's perfect! Should we go look inside?"

"Sure!" Vana replied, climbing up after her. He hoped they would be so fortunate as to find a suitable cave so soo after their search began and so close to their childhood play area.

Kirsa nuzzled Vana and then went into the den. She looked around for a little while. It was very nice. She was surprised to have found something so nice so quickly. There was of course the chance that they might find something better if they were to keep looking though.
She finished looking around and then went back to Vana. "So, what do you think?"

"I think it's definitely a competitor," Vana replied, scoping the area carefully, "But it's too early in our search to really decide anything..." He circled around to the back of the rock and found a path leading down. Turning back to look for Kirsa he called, "Let's go this way next!"

Kirsa smiled, glad that he was still willing to look some more. "I agree! Let's keep looking! But we will keep this place in mind."
She followed Vana to the little path and excitedly began to go down, wandering where it would come out to.

The path opened to a small stream, winding down from the hill and into the forest. "Do you think it will go up again?" Vana asked, eyeing the hill on the other side of the treeline. Hopefully it wouldn't be too much of a walk.

"Well, there's only one way to find out!" She nuzzled him happily, and then began walking down the side of the stream and into the forest.
She was so happy to be looking for their home. She was so happy to have a family. Vana was amazing, and her new children were beautiful. She wanted a good place for them to be able to grow up.

(I have a feeling we should end this one and start a new one of them with the kits now that they've finally had them... >.> They can just have settled with the first home...)
