Seto 'hmphed' and turned on his heel, leaving the room. "I dont have time for this." he said irritatedly. He walked out of the room, seeing that Akiko was gone but Yugi was still in the hallway.
Yugi was very surprised but also quite thrilled and excited when he was hugged despite the situation. He hugged her back, wishing he would never have to let her go but she soon pulled away and left. He looked down on the ground, feeling like a failer. His heart hurt. he hated seeing her like this. He saw Kaiba come out of the room and he glared at him with watery eyes. They glared at each other in silence for a few moments. "Go after her!" he demanded.
Seto raised an eyebrow, a bit taken aback by Yugi's command. He narrowed his eyes. "Why should I?" He hissed back at the shorter teen.
Yugi whiped his eyes on his sleeve. "Because she's upset! You treat her horribly! All she wants is for you to be nice and like her! Youre the only one who can make her feel better!" Yugi said and those words just about broke his heart. He felt like he didnt matter to her anymore. He felt like the only one who mattered to her the most was Kaiba.
Seto rose and eyebrow. Why did he make a difference? And why was Yugi so upset? Seto wasnt very emotional and didnt see how big of a deal his was. He sighed and walked past him and out the door after Akiko. "You dont know what?" he asked, hearing her as he got closer.
Yugi followed, peeking out the doorway to make sure Kaiba made things better. Even if she wanted to be with Kaiba, Yugi would make sure she was happy and treated right, no matter how bad it hurt him.
Seto placed his fingers under her chin, lefting her face up to look at him. He saw tears in her eyes and he automatically felt guilty. he also felt sick with himself for feeling guilty. "I'm sorry..." He said, not all too happily. He never said sorry so this was a big thing comming from Seto, or at least thats what it felt like to him. He shouldnt make her upset over this. After all he didnt plan on being with her for long so she could stay with her friends.
Sam looked at them sadly when Seto left. She averted her gaze to the side. "I'm sorry. I dont know why he acts like that..." She said, feeling a little ashamed about the way Seto acted. But she knew a different Seto then they knew. She knew the seto that always looked out for her, the Seto that was raising and took care of her. The seto that took her in even after she had diserted them in the orphanage. She loved her brothers more then anything. So because of that she also felt defensive for Seto and wouldnt let them talk bad about him even though he treated them horribly. Her and Joey had gotten into a few fights becaus of that.

Akiko's eye's widened when she heard his voice. Her head was tilted up to look at him. She didn't answer his question, because she didn't know the answer. She forced a small smile, though she still looked sad. "It's ok," she said accepting his apology. Though the apology made her feel alittle better, she still felt horrible. Seto's eyes just seemed to shut her out. She simply did not feel love from him, but she wouldn't admit it. "Don't you have to go to work?" she said, not wanting to talk to him. She kicked her bike stand up and peddled slowly foreward. "I'll be over later, see ya," she said as she rode off. She just needed to take a ride and attempt to clear her mind.
Atem looked at Sam and smiled to make her feel better. "He's probably still sore about work. It will be fine," he said. As much as he didn't want to make excusses for him, he stuck with that idea. He never hated Kaiba, but he never cared for his attitude. But when they were all in trouble- Duelist Kingdom and such- Kaiba was there as well. He never saw him as a rival, even if Kaiba saw him as a rival. Sam probably felt every attack on her brother.
"No, he's always like that," Joey continued. He was just overly upset. He had to vent somehow. He looked at Sam, "Because he's an inconsiderate b*****d." He didn't mean to say it, and he didn't mean to say it in a harsh tone towards Sam.
"Knock it off Joey," Atem snared at him. He didn't want them to start fighting as well. Seems today was just a high strung day. "Just drop it," he added. He had a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach.

"Yeah sure." Seto said with a shrug, back to his uncarring attitude. He moved back so she could ride off. He looked down unable to get the look on her face out of his head. She was looking at him like she was searching for something. And then she looked dissapointed. He sighed and walked back to the house. He talked to his servent and soon got his stuff together and left in a limo to go to Kaiba Corp.
sam smiled at Atem a little but her smile soon faded when Joey opened his big mouth. She glared at him. "Well you probably started it! Youre always intigating him!" She argued.
Yugi sighed and walked back to get the others, his thoughts were very preoccupied. Where was she going? Was she ok? What did Kaiba say to her? He was starting to get really worried. He walked in the room, totally focoused on his thoughts and not their fight.

"You always assume I start things! Why can't you take my side for once!?" Joey yelled at her. Was she shunning him out too like Kaiba did? He simply just didn't like rejection. He felt alone, as if he just needed to defend himself all the time because nobody else would. It was an instinct he learned since childhood, because of his father. His father really messed him up, he took things the wrong way and was over sensitive. He wasn't a bad guy, he just did stupid things sometimes.
Atem mentally sighed, he was worried about this. He had to try and be neautral, though it killed him to see Joey yell at her. He wanted to yell at him back, but he had to remember he was his friend also. "Joey, this isn't about sides," he tried to calm him down.
"Shut up Atem! This has nothing to do with you!" Joey outbursted. After saying it he looked at him in shock, shock that he said that. Was he just as bad as Seto?
Atem snared at him and clinched his fist. He could feel anger rising in him as well. It was contageous. And yet through the whole situation, he couldn't help but think, 'why does Sam have to suffer?' He couldn't help but feel distant when Joey said that to him. But he was right, it had nothing to do with him. But he would defend Sam no matter what, he was willing to jump into this fire.
Akiko just rode off, mainly heading for her house and around that area. Sorting her thoughts right now was important, she was scattered with her thoughts. She searched for reasons why she said yes to Seto. He just sounded so convincing that he really liked her. Was she desperate? Probably not. Was she too scared to reject him? Possibly. Did.... he trick her? No, why would he do that? That would be a waste of time and effort. God she was so confused. What did he want? What did she want? Did she even like him? She stopped her bike and thought hard, did she really like him? Why? "I'm a horrible person," she said to herself, " I don't even know if I like him and I said yes?" She rubbed her head, she couldn't not have feelings for him. She had to have liked him, why would she say yes?!

"If you didnt start anything then I wouldnt have to take sides!" Sam yelled back at him until Atem spoke. She felt bad suddenly, realizing that they were arguing over somthing so stupid. She frowned. "Sorry Joey... I didnt mean it..." She said sadly. She walked closer to him, placing her hands on his arms. Still she didnt feel like his girlfriend. Most would kiss and make up but it just didnt feel right, especially with Atem right there.She just felt like a friend, a close friend.
Seto got to work once he got to Kaiba corp. he couldnt focous on work. He either thought of Joey or Akiko. It was making him really fustrated and angry that he was losing control of his emotions.
Yugi leaned against the door frame, waiting for them to finish whatever they were doing. "Akiko left..." He informed sadly. His tears were long gone but he felt empty now. Why did she have to leave? he didnt understand.

Joey was about to say something when Sam apologized to him. He blinked, the anger on his face disappeared. "R-Really?" he said. He smiled softly, "Yea..... me too. I'm sorry." He hugged her a bit. He let go kind of quickly. He couldn't even hug her? He felt as if he was actually invading her, as if he didn't have permission to. It was like a friendly hug, not a close hug. Joey felt bad about it too, but she was ok about it right? Both of them just didn't seem cuddly towards each other.
Atem felt better when Sam apologized, but still felt that was Joey's line. He would never fight with her, he could do so much better- he thought. He looked down at the ground, he shouldn't think that way. He felt nervous when Sam approached Joey. It was just a hug, but it was enough to upset Atem. He craved to touch her and hold her- but Joey didn't. Atem should might as well ask him to let Sam be his girlfriend! He felt heartbroken, empty. He just wanted her and nobody else, he couldn't just forget about her. He looked away from them, almost sick to his stomach from want. He saw Yugi, and heard what he said. Atem walked over to him, "What happened?" He put his hand on Yugi's shoulder. Atem was always able to tell when Yugi was upset, only this time- everybody could tell.
Akiko laid her arms on the handle bars and laid her head down on her arms. The thought of Yugi popped into her mind and she smiled. However it faded, she realized the last thing she did. Great, did he think she was weird now? Latching onto him like that? Yugi was probably her best friend, her closest friend- she couldn't bare it if he rejected her. "Poor Yugi, I didn't mean to put him inbetween all this s**t," she said to herself. She was more afraid of losing him as a friend then losing Seto as a boyfriend. But Yugi was always there for her, and he made her feel so happy and open. She thought about going back, she was just ashamed to. It was probably her fault for the fight. Riding her bike helped her a bit, adreniline can do wonders.

The only reason she apologized was because Atem was there. Sam frowned a little. The only reason she wasnt lovey with Joey was because Atem was around or she was afraid Joey would reject her. Was she supposed to be afraid of rejection by her own boyfriend? Was there something wrong with me? She moved away from him and looked over at Yugi and Atem. Sam was completely oblivious to Yugi's feelings towards Akiko. She just thought it was a close friendship. She walked over too, looking concerned as she waited for him to answer Atem's question.
"She got mad at Kaiba. She was really upset... I tried to make her feel better but I failed, twice." YUgi said sadly. He wanted the power to make her smile and feel good about herself. If he could do that he would make sure she was always happy. But Kaiba was her boyfriend and he was the one making her feel bad. And even as her friend he couldnt help her.

Joey followed her, he was worried about his friend. Him and Yugi were friends from the start, so seeing him down in the dumps affected him as well. "Don't say that buddy! You didn't fail!" he said to him. He was just as oblivious to Yugi's real feelings towards Akiko as Sam was. He, i n general, wasn't very good at picking up on things.
Atem was the only one there who understood him completely. They were in the same predicament, almost. Yugi didn't have to see his own friend with the girl he liked. However, at least Sam was treated right- even if it only seemed like a close friendship. Two broken hearts that understood one another. Atem smiled at him to try and convince him everything would be ok. "She probably needed to calm down. Everybody gets mad, and she's dealing with it now," he told him.
Her bike was back in motion and Akiko was feeling better. Not completely, but calm enough to be stable. She decided to ride back to the mansion. It was probably rude to just leave like that, and besides- she can't just continually hide. They were her friends, they won't reject her because of some fight she had in front of them. She stopped her bike in front of the mansion. She put it were it was before and kicked down the kick stand.

Yugi knew Joey was just trying to make him feel better, he didnt believe him. Yugi wouldnt feel better until he was sure Akiko was happy again. Atem had more of an effect on him because he knew why Yugi was so upset. He smiled a little and took a deep breath, trying to be more cheerful for his friend's sake. "I hope youre right..." He said.
Sam nodded in agreement with the others. "I'm sure she'll come back Yugi, since my brother probably went back to work. Lets just go back to having fun. How about we all go get a bite to eat?" She suggested to everyone. "We can find akiko first."

Akiko walked into the mansion and back towards the arcade room. She kept her hands in her pockets, just because they were cold. She stood right outside the doorway- she could see her friends right outside of it.
"Found her," Joey replied to Sam as he pointed outside the doorway. He joked to brighten the mood, "Man your easy to find."
Akiko crossed her arms playfully and smirked, "Hey, just because I leave doesn't mean the games should end." She had to joke with them, it was the best thing for her and the mood. She wasn't sure why everyone was at the doorway to start with.
"Ok, we found her- let's go get some food," Joey said with a smile. He was hungry, so he thought with his stomach.
Atem looked up to see Akiko in the hallway. "Told you," he said to Yugi. Hopefully he would feel better now. She seemed better, which was good. He backed away to stand next to Sam. Now that the crisis was over, he was dying to know when they could go out for ice cream. He was even psyching himself for the serenade. However, he hoped Sam wouldn't make him sing in front of Joey. That would make it torture. These were going to be his feelings he was going to spill out to her afterall.

Yugi smiled as soon as he saw Akiko. And she didnt seem upset anymore. He hurriedly walked over to her. "Youre back!" he pointed out the obvious happily. His face was a little red, embarressed that he had made a huge deal out of it when she did come back just like the others said.
Sam smiled when Akiko came back. "That didnt take long." She said to herself. She laughed at Joey's enthusiasm. "Ok, lets go get some food. Joey's paying!" She joked. Of course she would pay. It wasnt her money, it was Seto's so she dindt mind spending it. She walked ahead of them, towards the door. None of the cheffs were in so they could go out to eat. She looked at Atem. They would have to work something out for their break. But she felt like she had to go behind Joey's back.

Akiko closed her eyes and smiled. Reopening them she replied to Yugi, "Yup. I just needed some air." It was nice to see a welcome from everybody rather then a negative reaction. "Food sounds good right about now," she agreed. Picking up on Sam's joke, she laughed and went along with it, "How nice Jo, your treating." She walked next to Yugi as they left out the door. She wanted to say something, to thank him.
Joey looked at Sam, "Huh wha? Me!?" His voice was comical. He was pretty sure she was busting on him. He looked over at Akiko, "Not you too! Your both bad!" He did let out a laugh, the girls always had to bust on him.
Atem stood next to Sam, prefering to be by her. Even though he knew her and Joey were going out- it still felt like they were just friends. "Where do you have in mind, Sam?" he asked her. He looked at Joey, knowing that he and Sam had to some how tell him about the ice cream thing. He would probably right out and tell him. He was willing to do so. Probably when they got to where ever they were going.

Yugi laughed a little, walking side by side with Akiko, smiling at her. He thought about trying to convince her to break up with Kaiba but he didnt want to bring it up and upset her again. But shouldnt she realize how bad he was for her on her own?
Sam stuck her tongue out childishly at Joey and winked. She then looked at Atem as they walked. "Ummm I dont know. A Burger joint?" She asked, not really sure what they were in the mood for. It didnt really matter where they went to her as long as it had good food.
((How about they go to that burger place Tea works and the can kinda flirt with Yugi and Atem and Sam and Akiko can have their turn to get jealous?))

"How about Burger World? Their burgers are awesome!" Joey said. As they walked there, since it wasn't far away, Joey looked at Atem and snickered. "Hey, that's the place Tea works. She seems to really like you Atem," Joey teased him.
Atem glared at Joey. "I know that's where she works," he said obviously irritated of the fact. He wanted to go there, the food was good. Maybe Tea had off, he hoped. He just didn't like her, he didn't like the idea she would flirt with Yugi to get to him when they shared a body. It was wrong, she used Yugi. But she used to be nice, a good friend too. Everybody else seemed ok with her. "I'd rather die," he mummbled in response to Joey suggesting Tea on him.
Akiko heard Atem's mummble. She chuckled, it was funny the way he said it, but responded, "Atem! That's not nice!" She met Tea a few times, she was ok she guessed. Too girly for her. Sam was her only friend that was a girl. She had no idea about Atem's dislike of her- in fact, she had no idea about Yugi and Atem. She just thought they were twins or at least brothers. "I second the burger idea," she said.

"Yeah, that sounds good." Yugi said cheerfully. Tea was a good friend of his after all. He used to kind of had a crush on her. He never noticed that she used him to get to Atem. But he did know that she liked Atem more then him. That was his first dissapointment with love. But now Akiko was picking Kaiba over him! That was a new low for him. He sighed, supposing he just wasnt good enough to date these girls. He just wished he would quit falling in love with these girls who just want to be friends with him. It was hard for him to deal with. Especially with Akiko. He cared about her more then he has ever cared about any girl.
Sam narrowed her eyes when they mentioned Tea, especially about Tea liking Atem. Sam and Tea did not get along at all. It was probably because of Atem but their personalities conflicted too. Sam had never really liked her. In her opinion Tea had a big mouth and never shut up. "Whatever." She said in response to them wanting to go there. She didnt really care but she didnt want to see tea. She couldnt help but feel happy when Atem said those things. She felt more secure. But she got along with Mai perfectly fine and Mai and Joey had liked each other at one point. It seemed a little backwards. She admitted to herself that she liked Atem. But she should like Joey more since she is with him. She sighed feeling really guilty. She just had to get over Atem and remember that they were just friends. And that Joey was her boyfriend now.
It didnt take them long to get to Burger World. Tea was greating the next people who walked in, and that just happened to be their group. "Hi welcome to- Hey guys!" She said surprised. She rarely got to see her friends now that she was attending dance school and working along with finishing highschool. She smiled mostly at Atem, making Sam growl and glare in fustration. Sam was very much the jealous type with some people. "I'll show you to a table." She said cheerfully, bringing them over to a booth.
"Thanks Tea, we were hoping you'd be working." He said nicely, glancing at Atem and trying not to laugh. Atem may not care for her the way she cares for him, and only Yugi knew who he really liked, but it was still a little amusing to the short teen and they were friends so he would be nice to her.
Sam sat down, ending up between Joey and Atem as Yugi and Akiko sat on the other side of the table. Atem was on the outside near Tea, making Sam keep a close eye on her.
