Hidden Soul

"Dango! Dango! You've got my Dango!" the long ghostly wails could be heard throughout the forest around Kyoshou as white smoke filled the area. 10 blazing white serpents burst forth from the ground around Kyoshou each around 10 feet away from the sound nin and then suddenly Shisui was there dressed in white robes and an Oni mask, he stood behind Kyoshou playing a small harp as menacingly as one could play a small whimsical harp. His fingers plucked across the strings as if he had the experience of playing the instrument his whole life. "WOOOOOOOOO!" Shisui managed one more disembodied wail before collapsing into a giggling pile on the ground next to Kyoshou. His mask clattered to the ground as he rolled about a bit before speaking again. "Fancy meeting you here Kyoshou-kun! Have you come to learn the art of the very powerful Harp of Soul or maybe your here to learn the ways of divine judgment? Either way... can I have one? I kinda ate all my other ones on the way here..." Shisui didn't wait for an answer scooping up a skewer and putting it in his mouth before his friend could stop him from reclaiming the treat. The fiery snakes still writhed about a few feet away from the two, Shisui finally seemed to notice the fact and with a twitch of his fingers the flaming wires simply went back to being normal wires.

Shisui only laughed as well, his fingers strumming the harp faster and faster in more complicated melodies looping and twisting and turning and blending together. "I play just about any instrument really. Makes me wish Itachi-kun hadn't killed everybody else, we would have made a nifty band. I can even play that strange thingy you always carry around... waddya call it an Iolin?" Shisui said referencing his friends normal choice of instrumental device. Shisui rolled onto his back with a contented sigh. "You should really go see the teachers here then, they've got crazy techniques, don't know if they've got any genjutsu, but they got this one crazy thing that I know you'll just love. Have you ever seen me use it? S'called Fear Me, it's pretty simple, but the benefits are crazy if you use it right. Lemme show yah. " Shisui hoped to his feet running through a string of hand seals ending with him splitting into two Shisui's each identical to the other even speaking in unison. "Now see this is the double vision genjutsu I picked up in this fiery village... the name escapes me, but that doesn't matter just try to dispell it and I'll show you how the skill works. your gonna love this!" Shisui stood there expectantly waiting for his to cast Kai or some other method of genjutsu release.

"Oh! Oh! yeah that's what there called! I remember Kama nii-san telling me about them!" Shisui said holding up in triumphant Eureka pose, not really realizing that he'd just taped into a memory from his previous life as Akuma. As his friend tried to dispel the genjutsu Shisui's hands spun around forming a set of seals in the blink of an eye, it took alot of practice to get a set down to such a quick speed, but it was necessary to be able to counteract a jutsu that only required a single hand seal. "See! That's the whole crux of the skill it stops people from escaping genjutsu with release techniques like that. I don't think it works on me or people like Drago-dono or the Hyuugas but everyone else is susceptible to it. I haven't gone back to my sensei who taught it to me in awhile, but he used very vague language when describing it anyway. I think it focuses in on forcing more chakra in with the original genjutsu to amplify the fear, whether rational or irrational that a genjutsu causes, that way no matter how many times they form the seals for it they'll never be able to focus the chakra necessary to fight it off, even tricking the body with pain doesn't work to bring them back to consciousness. In this case your not scared all that much, because there is no natural fear based in this genjutsu, just a nice trick to deceive the opponent. The type of genjutsu you use though should be pretty effective with this." Shisui ended his slight monologue confident that he'd explained the ins and outs of the jutsu sufficiently. He plopped down on to the ground the other Shisui disappearing from view. Shisui seemed to be counting jutsus on his fingers. "Oh! Oh! and theres this really rather simple thing you can sign with this one guy and it keeps you from dying and it makes you all better, he said it had some sort of price, but the language the contract is written in is a mystery even to me. I haven't felt any ill effects as of yet and I've used it save my life twice. Tis strange, but who am I to question stuff like that." Shisui laid back on his back staring up at the trees waiting to see if his friend had any other questions for the young Jounin.

Volcano
David got off in hidden federation in the hidden volcano section, he had Yada and Metalos with him they walked toward the volcano that had been home to Metalos, as they approached the base of the volcano Metalos pulled out a few gas masks for Yada, Blits and David as they headed up the mountain Metalos still had his mask hanging around his neck as he was smoking on his way up the mountain. as soon as they were near the top of the volcano they all had their gas masks on, although Yada and Blits had them on near the start, and David put his on when Metalos had begun to smoke, Metalos obviously having lived there had smoked the a ways up and then when he got to the top he decided to put his mask over his face. they all began to ask questions to Metalos, although their voices were all muffled. Yada was the first to ask questions, "can we rest for a while i'm tired, it was a long trip up this volcano." Metalos smiled behind the mask "fine you can rest in my place its right on the other side of this ridge up ahead." they arrived at Metalos's home and were happy although it was rather warm inside of the volcano. they had an AC unit in the window of the house as it would keep them cool although they had to tourn it off every couple minutes so it wouldn't overheat.

SLUMBER/DREAM

"Really now? I would have never guessed, you can really do that type of thing with a human body? Interesting," Shiro sipped his tea slowly, out of all the places he could have been in the lands of the federation Shiro was sipping tea with none other then Zant the Torturer, a man he found he found shared similar interest and hobbies with. He'd only been exploring the lands of the Federation for a short time, but this village so far had been the most interesting of them all. Even now he'd picked up a useful technique for destroying whole villages, he planned to try it out on Void at some point to test it's effectiveness.

Yada was alseep in Metalos's house and David was sitting outside talking with Metalos, "do you think that the kid could help fight in the war for property?" David said as Metalos lit another cigarette, "i'm not sure, how strong is this guy who is conquering everyones homes?" Metalos asked back. David sighed, "he's strong, really strong, i couldn't beat him but then again every time i try i just get stuck fighting myself or some stupid scurges of alchemy. if you can make it all the way to Shiro then your are probably dead and going to become one of his servants. and just so you know thats what i ment by fighting myself." Metalos looked at David curiously "wait if you fight yourself as one of his servants doesn't that mean your dead?" David sighed as he had started to explain what he ment, "alright i'm going to show you something very interesting." David opened his vest partway down and showed his cursed seal on his chest, "this is a Cursed Seal if you die you can end up visiting a man who left the group known as the Akatsuki, his name is Orochimaru. when i died a long time ago i was found by him, he had only one request of me when he gave me this, that i work hard to build my streangth, although i've done research on Orochimaru and his purpose for the Cursed seals, what i found was not something pleasant. this seal will eventually decay my body and kill me, although its permanent even if i die. so i've been through a few lives which actually sucks kind of because every time recently my body has been take by someone else, also you loose your memory, i'm still not that smart about this stuff but i was explained it once by a former life. but back to what i was saying the last time i died i was known as Doom Akasune and when i died some stupid blonde idiot was found by my master Shiro-Sama and i lost my old body permanently as herebuilt it and turned it into a monster. as i now stand i am stronger then it is but it still has a diamond hard defense." Metalos looked almost confused at David, "my god! youve been smoking to much s**t!" David looked really meanly at him. "well theres one thing i'm sure of when Orochimaru trys to take my body, which he will for its the reason for the powering curse seals. i will be a good body for him to use because of all of the things i have to offer, my extreme speed, bloodline trait, and the thing you saw earlier, the Darkness. anyway Shiro doesn't sound so tough against me but i still have to pass the jounin exams then i will be able to prove myself and finally kill him. the kid in there i think needs more work then he will later be a master ninja. you i also think will survive for some time i will make sure that you don't die against shiro's forces, and if you do he wont get you." David had promised this to Metalos as he smiled. they then went and woke up Yada and Blits and left the volcano lands.

"OOOOkkkk... so this is how it goes. This is the village center, where most people can be found most of the time. They don't seem to go on many missions very often so you can almost always find teachers here." Shisui paused biting off a hunk of the still warm bread that they'd bought at the small roadside kitchen. "Ummpphh... see it is good! Umm... yeah as I was saying. See the guy with the really long white hair with the really long beard......way over there?" the man was easily half a mile away and only looked like a small speck sitting on top of a slightly larger speck. "Yeah, him, he's the guy I saved the life saving contract with. Nice guy, but he's got an obsession with boat building for some reason, I don't quite get it, since it's all clouds up here. Then theres Peter-sensei, seriously it's like the weirdest name I've ever heard in these lands, but it's not that much of a big deal, he can teach yah really nifty stuff like the Fear Me thing, oh and he showed me this really crazy genjutsu that's perfect to combo it with. And me? I'm gonna go see Samson-kun, the big brawny guy with the long flowing black hair. Despite how he looks he's the best Harp player in the whole village and he promised to give me a few lessons if I ever managed to make it back here in one piece. That was right before the Jounin exams... don't quite remember what went on between then and when I woke up in the forest, but eh, must not have been to exciting eh?" Shisui nudged his comrade lightly. "So who you gonna go train with?" He stared around the village with continued child like awe occasionally taking a bite out of the loaf of bread or handing a small piece to the small squirrel on his shoulder.
