carosene  The official artist for the ending theme is a pretty woman by the name of Kanon Wakeshima. :3 But of course the important thing about the song is it is produced by Mana, Japanese Visual Kei rock legend, noted for his involvement in the bands Moi dix Mois and MALICE MIZER, (of which Gackt was also a part of. wink ) as well as for his pretty face and cross dressing. The song Miss Wakeshima will be performing is called "Still Doll." It looks like Still Doll will be her debut, since there's no other discography on her website. Youtube gives me nothing for her, so I have no idea what she sounds like except for the little looping clip on her site. :3 I just hope she really plays that thing. XD As for On/Off, the opening listed for them is # "Futatsu no Kodou to Akai Tsumi (Two Beats and Red Sins)" and it can be heard in this little Vampire Knight promotional video. I didn't report it when it came out, because the video is lame in the face. -.-;; It's not a real trailer, but go watch it if you must. It's basically just text and flowers and pictures we've seen before with the song. There's a few things that look like screenshots, if you must see those. Nothing is even animated. -.-;; According to the Babel fish translation of the official Vampire Knight website, it is a "precedence" PV, so hopefully that means it's just some badly designed video to throw to the ravenous fangirls until they get the real trailer out. that's an awesome opening. do u know their's a preview too? cant for it heart

The anime is goin to have to work hard to live up to the expectations of the fans and hopefully reflex the manga...

Yeah, I already posted that... *sighs* A SHORT REAL TRAILER WITH ACTUAL ANIMATION: ACTUAL ANIMATION TRAILER!!Actually it's really short, and it's mostly people talking except Yuuki's narrating... hm.... animation doesn't look too great... -.-;; Ah well... can't wait for the real thing, please be amazing.

My thoughts on watching an episode I could mostly not understand:
OH MY GOSH, the opening and ending animation is sooo cool!!! O.o;; I love the ending song!! I don't really like On/Off's little opening... it's just... boybandy. The ending song is awesome.
Mamoru Miyano (Zero) is wonderful as usual. He delivers the dark, ominous lines perfectly and the comedic lines comedically. Zero's skin was really light, but it makes him kind of cool, I think.
Yui Horie (Yuki) did an excellent job as well. :3
Kaname's voice is pretty close to Zero's, which was kind of weird. But he was good, I guess. He didn't stand out to me.
Aido had an interesting voice. I'm not sure if I like it or not. It looks like Aido is turning into a little more a comedy character than originally.
The animation was decent, which worries me considering it's the first episode. (They usually pull out the best animation for the first...) They did some little original animation bits, and some of the lipsynching was weirdish, but I guess it was ok. Vampire eyes glow red!!
The story followed Chapter one, there were a couple little scenes that didn't belong, but it was mostly close. I'm looking forward to subs~~! smile
What was everyone else's impressions? :3

I <3 the opening and ending!!!
I <3 the animations, I'm a fan of Studio Deen. 3nodding
Zero's voice actor never lets you down. I was so glad to hear one of my fav japanese voice actors to be planing my fav VK character.
I also like how they did Yuki.
Kaname, same as you really. sweatdrop
I like the fact that the vampires eyes glow red. <3
I find it cute, how when Zero and Yuki are fighting they turn into chibis! XD
The Headmaster i thought, they did great on! He's a riot! XD

I wanna watch the raws for the first episode, but unfortunately I cannot download Firefox. u-u
I'll try to find them on Youtube, Veoh, or Crunchyroll, or whatever website I can think of, though...
