"morning everyone," aphrodite said cheerfully. Blackavar gave her a weird look. "What are you so happy about?" She gave him a cold glare and said in a quiet but harsh voice, "do you have something against people being happy?" "Would you quit it with the death glares??!! It's not my fault I accidentally erased your memory....oh yeah,heh sweatdrop never mind." Aphrodite turned away from him and sat at the couch, hoping no one heard.

"Good Morning Aphrodite," Nicodemus said as he emerged from the boy's dormitory. "Did you enjoy your romp last night?" He sauntered over to one of the chairs and took a seat.

"Morning," Aphrodite said. She shrugged in reply to Nicodemus' question, and took a piece of parchment out of her bag and started writing down some equations from Potions.

"Why do you even bother with those equations?" he asked her. Pheona slumped from the dormitory and let loose a large yawn. Nicodemus replied, unable to resist, a yawn of his own.

"It's not odd at all. There are students that do not excel in the class their heads teach. I just don't bother because I don't see the point when it comes so easily." You could hear the gears grinding as he thought about what he just said.
"That probably sounded very pompous and rude. I'm sorry. Sometimes I just speak without thinking first. What I meant to say was that I'd be willing to help you study. That is, if you wanted. And not just in potions either. I'm rather excellent in every class. I'm so sorry again. I don't mean to sound pompous, rude, or conceited. I just can't seem to...I'm not very good at...Pretty girls make me...oh there is no excuse. I'm sorry."

"You're welcome," he said and went to drawing another picture after taking out his sketchpad. After a few minutes he asked, "Which potions are you working on?"

"That one is pretty tough. I even have trouble with it every now-and-then. I just keep a few vials of any potion he could have us make in storage so I never have to actually make the potion in class or really worry about making the potion again until my stock gets low. Snape is actually very lenient with us. He only cares that we get good scores on the potion portions of our OWLS and NEWTS."
