Kouzin smirked. "Sure...if you and I both survive until round three, I'd love to..." Kouzin replied as he continued to walk, now away from Katen. Kouzin had no interest in knocking out the competition until round three, or at least the prelims. His main reason for that was he had doubts in his mind that he would survive if he picked a fight early on.

Kouzin focused his chakra as the kick was about to land. The strike was a square hit, sending him flying towards Kouzin.....wait...
Kouzin had used a replacement, moving to the side. His replacement was with his pack, therefor the kick merely sent it back into his hand. Slinging the pack across his back, Kouzin used this opportunity to assume a defensive stance. "yaareyare....so troublesome... You could have just told me it was part of the exam Katen-sempai..."

Kouzin smirked as he let the ball seemingly hit his chest, though there was a bit more to it than that. Since a spin was the ball's only source of momentum, Kouzin was able to use a minimal amount of chakra to cushion the projectile, stopping it less than an inch away comfortably. "It's not a matter of fun as much as it is a matter of courtesy. Much as it a matter of courtesy to not send a jounin to handle the specific task of hindering a genin...but no matter."

Katen DIssappears and reappears behind Kouzin Placin one fo the points of her CLaws under his Chin. "Actually it is a matter of Fun." She smiles dissapearign again. "Secodnly Im going easy on you if i were going Full speed and Strength you would be dead right now." She Draws back the CHain then Spins it around and launches it ai8ming to Wrtap it around hsi Arm.

"I have too much willpower for that..." Kouzin muttered, pulling out a kunai as the chain approached him. Once enough slack was made, Kouzin jammed the kunai in between two links. Stepping forward, Kouzin slammed the kunai down towards one of those metal bits along the ground, driving the kunai like a wedge through the chain-link, cracking the weld, opening the link enough for the chain to break with the slightest jerk. If Katen wouldn't pull it back, thinking she had Kouzin trapped, Kouzin would jut break it himself.
((the logistics work...and if you've seen "Curse of the Golden Flower", soldiers broke similar chains with even less effort.))

THe Chain Dosent Split. "This si the Toughest metal made in Cloud. Now lets Continue." I force the Chain Back ANd pull the Kunai out. "My A kunai ill keep that." I spin the Chain around my arm and Connect the Hooked end to my Claw. "Lets go." SHe smiles as She Runs at Him and slashes down with her Claw.

((I'm not splitting the metal, I'm splitting the weld in the link, which would be iron at it's strongest, and welds aren't as strong as their smelted counterparts. I'll let you keep the kunai though))
Kouzin stepped to the side, making it seem like nothing, though he actually used a jut of chakra from his shoulder to slow down the claw, just enough to be able to get out of the way. Kouzin's Byakuugan activated in mid-turn, allowing him to see the woman's tenketsu system. Using the fact that Katen's side was turned to him to his advantage, Kouzin rammed his fingers towards her side, aiming to close off one of her tenketsu.

Kouzin crouched to avoid the kick, using his now distinct position as a perfect spot to continue his assault. Katen may have been able to avoid his jab, but since his chakra formed a point about an inch longer than his actual fingers, the chakra still was able to hit his mark. About completion of her current motion, she'd feel her kidney constricting.
Using his position below her chest-level, Kouzin fired off two more srikes, one to either side of her stomach.
((Remember, Hyuuga's reach extends further than their arms.))

SHe does a flip over Him and Smiles since She placed her hands on top of his head. "Hmm this sint Bads to bad that dosent really hurt and i dotn need my Chakra to Fight Im a Taijutsu8 master." She laughs. Landing then Using a sweepign kick to knock him over.

Kouzin smirked as he was swept off of his feet. Using a bit of chakra to keep him longer in the air, he managed to flip sidewahs, back onto his feet before he jumped backwards. "Trust me, the pain will get to you soon...imagine someone actually punching you in the kidney....not through your flesh...but your actual kidney," he explained as he slid to a stop.
"You're good...I haven't fought in a long time...not that I'd like to fight you at full strength." Kouzin spoke with a rather unusual enthusiasm. Most people would complain about being matched against a jounin taijutsu master.
