"Ah," Elrohir nodded. "Yes ... Serenity had mentioned ..."

He hesitated, wondering if he should ask whether or not they were married yet, but at the same time wondering if it was one of those questions that were better unasked. Instead, he let his eyes drift down to their hands, and when he saw that both of themn were ringless, he nodded to himself, satisfied that his question had been answered, and that they were not.

Then again, it also then appeared that they weren't even engaged. That ... was interesting, especially considering the way there were interacting, so intimately ...

At that moment there was yet another entrance at the door - this time it was a woman, barely taller than Elnara, but who shared some of her facial features. She was dressed far finer than even Tinúviel, and had in her hair a silver circlet set with tiny blue gemstones.

Atalya looked every bit the part of the queen, even as she stared silently at her granddaughter and her guests who had appeared so suddenly.

Atalya smiled down at Lin and nodded. "He should be back soon," she murmured. "If you want, you can go wait in the Dining Hall for him ... if you remember where that is."

It was instinctive to reply to the question before saying anything to those who had been silent, but now she turned her attention back to Elnara and the others.

"Elnara," she murmured, almost as if she couldn't believe that her granddaughter was standing so close. She put her hands out to her, smiling warmly. "Welcome back."

Haradhel looked down at the little winged girl curiously. She didn't know sign language, had never needed to learn it - though, as she recalled, Elrohir had a brother who used it.

"Um ..." she murmured.

Elrohir though had seen what she had signed, and translated it for Haradhel, then replied, "I'm your uncle Elrohir, and this is Haradhel."

He wondered, though, why she was using sign language.

Lore nodded at Serenity, "Yes, I liked it very much when your Nako came, it was a very good visit."

In both senses, like when they went to the Borderlands.

Haradhel and Elrohir smiled down at Skye, then waved to her and followed Tinúviel out the door, just as silently as she had disappeared. They knew what she meant - Atalya would appreciate some time alone with Elnara and the others.

Lin paused in her running, she hadn't expected anyone to come after her, especially not Stomr and Starr. Not that she didn't like the two, it just suprrised her.

"What are you two doing?" she asked them.

Atalya smiled. "Likewise," she replied warmly. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Atalya Aldrich, Queen of the Southland Elves, and Elnara's grandmother."

She looked around at the four children who were still in the room. "And these," she murmured thoughtfully. "I know Serenity ... and this must be Celebor, I've heard so much about him ... but I'm afraid I'm at a loss as to who these other two might be."
