Victor brushed off his gloves covered in vampiric ash as he left the cellar where another vampire who was foolish enough to drink himself unconscious would never wake up. He had been here less than two hours, and yet four of the undead beasts were dead by his hand. He enjoyed the hunt. As he wandered back up the steps and into the ground floor hallway of the castle, he heard a door opening and quickly slipped behind a wall and saw a vampiress leaving the room and storming down the hallway.
"Namine...," He stated more than asked as he stood there in silence, watching her leave. "Let's take a look at what you've left behind." In a few moments, he was inside the room that the vampiress had just departed from and to his surprise, he found the withered remains of another vampire. "You are indeed a different one, Namine..." It always disturbed him to leave a vampire's corpse in its raw form, so for good measure, he drove a stake through it and ensured that it disentigrated. With a spin of his cape, he blew the dust off and scattered it across the room. Just in time to see a pair of women, one very pale with that sickly aura about her, walk into the room. "My my, this is my lucky night, isn't it?" He said aloud, knowing that their lustful nods and laughter were hardly agreeing to the same thing.

Entering the grand hall once more Namine searched the room for a familiar face, mostly Victor. She did not see him nor did she see the porcelain masked man and the girl. Those two must have drifted deeper into the crowd. She grabbed a wine glass from a nearby table and sipped it. She was glad she had dealt with the vampire. Now he wouldnt be bothering anymore guests. She felt disgust though. Disgust because she allowed herself to be touched by him so she could bait him. She shuddered recalling his lips on her neck. She also recalled the fear in his eyes when she revealed herself. She gained satisfaction from that fact from knowing she had exacted punishment on him. Punishment he would never be able to recover from.
A man in a dark purple cloak invited her to dance. She slipped her hand into his and smiled coyly. Taking the wine glass from her he placed it nearby and ushered her to the floor. Looking up at his face she noticed his mask was half silver half black and its theme was that of the court gesture. Beneath the mask gray eyes peered at her. "My dear you look exquisite. Will you tell me who you are?"
Namine smiled. "That is against the rules monsiour. What would I have left to barter with if I revealed my identity?"
"Touche my dear. I was just hopeful that you would say so. That way I can call on you days after this night is done."
"Oh im quite flattered sir..but a girl does not give her secrets away so easily." Namine laughed as he twirled her round and round. He was not too bad. He wasn't demanding anything from her and seemed to enjoy the company. The music changed and this time partners were being exchanged. "I will be sorry to lose my partner so soon" he said "but im sure we will find each other once more." They seperated as each found a new partner.

Skyler frowned when Alsvid laughed. She thought she had done something worng, but all she did was make him feel old. She gave off her 'I'm sorry' smile to him. In agreement she nodded her head. Inside she was begining to climb an old wall that had been up for years. She was defying her fears.
She began to forgot where she was and the people around her except for Alsvid. The dance seemed to get more intence as she forgot. When he lifted her chin her fear of being touched, which she had shoved in to the depths of her mind, began to rise in her. Her face turned alittle red as she got confused by his words. Then a shock was sent through her system with the word he said next. He wanted her to talk, but would he liston or just tune her out like most people did?

((Anything I need to Edit? PM me, so we dont have to push posts back with OOC posts. Thaaanks.))
Ayla Solderini huddled herself close into the back left corner of the briliant dark-wood chair. Taking a breath, she sighed out sleepily. Ayla frowned abit at the night's festivities. Of course, they where lively, and very colorful, almost to the point of blurring one's focus. Her half-lidded eyes wandered up and down the large expanse of a ballroom, Then to the windows, to the ceiling, everywhere. "Que mas malo noche de me vida..." Ayla's spanish tounge rolled out silently, very wary of any passerby who heard her. She had said 'What a very bad night of my life.', Mainly because of the lack of any sort of games or fun-giving. She rose from her chair quickly, as it creaked under the unrecognized lightness that followed her standing. Adjusting the plain red Mask which rested gently across her face, She walked quite simply to the other side of a large group, eyeing the dancers. A girl, dressed quite elegantly, was twirling, and dancing quite merrily with one of the men, Dressed in a deep purple cloak. The others all seemed quite overdressed for the occasion, As if to outshine one another.
Ayla took another deep breath and frowned. One of her hands moved to her face, securing the mask again over her small nose, and deep brown eyes. Her hair gently dipped and fell gently over her shoulders, straight like her mother's. Upon closer inspection of the dance floor, the Girl and the Purple-cloaked man had parted, to find a seperate partner before the new waltz would kick up. She wasn't used to the type of dancing. Of course, It was not the dancing in Spain, not the ones she grew up with, so she had to take it up actually pretty quickly, so she was not left out of the customs and branded as an outsider, as much as she was. Though she Had learned it, she knew that her steps where faltering, and it wasn't very becoming of a lady her age. All in all, it was an improvement over her stepping all over Abuelo's toes when she tried to dance with him.
She withdrew her glance from the floor and took up eyeing the lavish surroundings again, quite enjoying them more than anything. A piano in the corner, Probably for show, a candlestick firmly on top, and absolutely beautiful windows and flooring. "Aye..Que Bonito.." Her voice faded out with the cries of laughter from the women in the crowd behind her, having heard a joke.

Alsvid could see Skyler was going red and felt her flinch from his hand a little. He could see in her eyes that something was troubling her. "If you no longer wish to talk I will respect that," he said, drawing her in closer, "However, if you do decide to talk I will listen as I don't want to bore you with my own story, my life is far too long. Yours is really just beginning, you still have the majority of life ahead of you."
He spun her and then drew her back towards himself. "Haha I don't believe I've ever danced with anyone for this long before in my life." Skyler still remained silent. "What has happened to her that has scarred her so?" he thought, growing very concerned. "Is it because of what happened earlier?" he asked. "As I have said, you have nothing to fear tonight."

Namine laughed as she was truly enjoying herself. This dance was quite rigorous and the exchanging of partners was fun. She was able to dance with many people including women. It was always fun to see the shocked expressions of the women when they danced with each other. But soon after they would smile in mirth as this was truly enjoyable.
For now Namine was enjoying the festivities. She disregarded all the distasteful things which had occured so far. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood and she was thankful for that. For watching everyone brought up her mood. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the porcelain masked man and the girl. She smiled as they seemed to be enjoying the festivities as well. Twirling to a new partner she notice a girl who was seated. Another beauty but she wondered why she was not dancing. Namine thought maybe she should approach her once this song died out. Laughing Namine twirled into someone else's arms her skirts flying along with her.

Skyler turned her eyes down. The word respect lingered in her head. No one in long time respected that she didn't want to talk. They always and constanly asked the same question over and over not caring how she felt about it. When he spoun her something awoke in her that had been put away.
"My mother died... I watched her die." One singel tear fell. "Then my became a drunky after she passed away." She saw a picture of her mother, father, and and herself in her head as she talked. "It became unbareable living with him.. he was getting violent." Why am I telling this to him? She thought as the picture in her mind went up in flames. Leaving her alone in the picture.

Alsvid suddenly realised that he cared deeply for this poor girl. He stopped dancing and looked into her eyes. After brushing a tear away from her eye he brought her in close and hugged her. He let her rest her head on his shoulder and, turning his face away, he shed a tear. Not knowing what to say he just held her in silence. "I'm... sorry." is all he could manage.

Ayla let out a grievous sigh and shook her head once. The man in the purple coat was dancing with one of those 'Want-To-Be's' for Lack of any word of description. The woman, in Ayla's book, should have succumbed to a stroke due to the heat in that dress. It made her Hips look Huge, And forced the poor man to bend his upper torso slightly so he could grasp her hands firmly. The sight of this made her Giggle abit, But quickly stopped herself when she thought of herself being seen as a crazy old hag who laughed for no reason. Ayla looked up and down the dance floor again, Her head tracing each of the Silhouettes clothed in absolutely beautiful clothing. She felt quite underdressed, though, when she had left the Bakery, had felt to be quite the opposite. The girl again. She caught her eye on the girl from before. That was the third time she'd seen her. Once from the seat, the second when she was with the purple-coat, And just now. Hm.. She seemed to be getting along well with everyone. Then she noticed a peculiar site, A pair that she'd seen before, and seemingly, they hadn't been apart since they'd come together; a man with a porcelain mask, and a girl. She saw the other one, Had glanced over a couple of times and gave them a content smile, Probably friends.

Namine moved off the dance floor even as folks were asking her to stay. Apparently she had developed a sort of fan club during the partner exchange. It consisted of both male and females. She had to admit they all enjoyed each others company..including her. Namine wanted to relax for a bit though and as such found herself walking over to sit near the girl she noticed before.
She has wondered then why she was sitting alone and she wondered the same thing now. As casually as possible Namine sat next to the girl. A waiter passed nearby and offered her wine. She gladly obliged by taking a glass for herself as well as one for the girl. Namine didnt know why but suddenly she found she had an affinity for wine. Maybe because it was the same color as blood. Turning to the girl she said "My that sure was fun! Tell me dear what are you doing her sitting all alone? Im sure some fellows have asked for your hand seeing as you are a beauty. I can tell." Namine handed the glass of wine to the girl and smiled.

What... what is he doing? Skyler thought. Her mind didn't quite have a grip on whats going on. Finally she reached the top of the wall in her mind as he placed her head on his shoulder. She gripped the back of his shirt as she started to cry. The black cloth that had been tied on her arm became undone and fell to the floor. She stopped crying and looked at him with tears still appon her face. "Thank you... alot."

Ayla glanced over quickly at the voice, It was the girl! The girl from those three seperate times. She took the wine tentatively and clasped it in her fingers, Looking almost as if she'd seen a ghost. To her, the girl was a ghost, but until a few moments ago, She was sure that the girl hadn't been aware of her presence. "Yes, It look fun." She blinked once and sipped the wine, and put it down gently on her lap, hand still clasped to it. "No..No. Men have not asked me dance. I think they scared." Her Spanish accent put a sort of purr in her throat, much like a cat would. Of course, she couldn't speak very well, seeing as how it was her second tounge, but then, she was never really good at it to begin with. With her Abuelo and Abuela, Always Spanish. Never English. But, Around the girl, She was speaking better than usual. Perhaps it was because she found herself thinking that the girl was complete Royalty, and that she should be treated with the highest amount of English she could sum up. "You..Have fun with purple-coat man?" She took another light sip of the liquid to her lips, waiting for an answer lightly, eyes still on the girl. Turned in her seat, she was curved so her back was to where her front once was, facing her with all her attention, Smiling as well.

Namine smiled at the girl. She was charming and her exotic accent gave her that extra something. She figured the girl was foreign but didnt expect her to have such a strong accent. It seemed that english was not her mother tongue. That did not matter to Namine though for it enhanced the girls charm. Namine realized that maybe that was the reason why she sat back to watch instead of joining in the festivities. Maybe the girl was self conscious. Maybe she thought she would not fit in or make a blunder. Taking a sip of her wine Namine looked at the crowd. "Mira cuanta gente se encuentra aqui. No tengas miedo. Baila y disfruta. Ademas aqui nadie sabe quien es la otra persona. Oh disculpame..mi nombre es Namine. Y si yo disfrute mucho con el hombre con la vestidura de morado y con varias otras personas" She smiled inwardly hoping she had guessed the right mother tongue for the girl. What she had basically said is "Look at how many people find themselves here. Dont be afraid. Afterall no one knows who the other person is. Oh pardon me..my name is Namine. And yes I enjoyed my dance with the purple clothed man as well as many other persons."
Her emerald eyes focused on the girl wondering how she would respond. Namine had not felt inclined to approach any of the female patrons. Except for that girl who had been in trouble. Yet in her state of mind she wanted a female companion to talk to and this girl had caught her attention. SHe thought of Victor and became saddened for a moment for she believed she knew what fate had in store for them. Focusing on the girl once more she brightened up and pushed him to the back of her mind.

((Please pardon my Poor spelling in spanish.. Im not very good with spelling, Or grammar. But I chose it, as I AM half spanish, and know alot of it. It just doesnt come across when I write. D: ))
This was bliss. Another Spanish Speaker. She felt at home completely with the girl now."Bueno, Senora Namine."Ayla nodded to the other girl's Spanish tounge. "Si.. Es mas bien cuando uno personna Sabe eso. Pero..." Her voice faded abit. "English Not good. Not like them." She motioned to the crowd of cackling women and men. "them." She motioned to the ballroom dancers. "them.." The people lining the walls watching the dancers. "I try dancing...later.. maybe with someone."The girl seemed to get saddened for a second, then perked up again. She disregarded that. "Bueno, Namine" She started again, taking a deep sip of the liquid in the cup. "Como te va? Tienes un Personna que venie con tu?" She was hoping she chose the right words. "Um..You..No come with someone to...Party?" She attempted to pardon herself from the confusing sentence she'd blurted in Spanish. Normally, she would avoid public speaking, even to Abuelo or Abuela, fearing public ridicule. She layed back a little in her chair, Brown hair gently playing across her neck and shoulders.

((aha dont worry my spanish isnt perfect. I included translations for everyone else. This post may seem long but its only the translations ^^))
Namine felt happy she had chosen the right language. She had an affinity for tongues and spanish was one of them. "No te preocupes. Esta noche es la noche mas larga. La noche de la luna roja. Es la unica noche cuando mucha gente se puede imaginar que son otra cosa. Entonces porqe no tu?"
"Do not worry. This night is the longest night. The night of the full red moon. Its the only night when many people can imagine themselves to be something else. So why not you?" (Translation)
Namine noticed she became saddened at some point. She was going to bring it up but she quickly changed to speak of another topic. "Yo me encuentro bien disfrutando lo que puedo. Desafortunadamente no he venido con alguien. En realidad no tengo a alguien especial aunque lo quisiera. Pero hay alguien que me attrae un poco. Y tu?"
I am fine trying to enjoy what I can. Unfortunately, I have not come here with anyone. To be honest I dont have someone special even though I wish it. Yet there is someone who attracts me somewhat. How about you?" (Translation)
Namine did not know why she was being so candid with the girl. But something about her made Namine feel at ease. As if she too knew what it was like to be an outcast.
