Damien deattached Aria and looked down at her. This time his face was serious, "Don't! Naomi is just a cattaur and will not ever try to hurt anybody!"
He calmed down a tiny bit, "She'll not eat you and I can tell you that 'cause she's like family to me." His green eyes darkened from past memories, but he shook his head and smiled gently, "So don't consider her anything evil and syrin hungry, okay?"
"I need to hide now."With that said he headed back to his hiding spot, "Trust me there's nothing to worry about, Aria."

Hearing the first young taur being found, an excited tingle rushed through the little pink cattaur's curled body. Watching from behind her little bush, Tariah covered her mouth with both hands to suppress the happy giggles she couldn't hold back. She was curious to see what Naomi and Armaeo would do to find the taurs in the pond. She leaned out a bit from her hiding spot so she wouldn't miss anything.

"Family?" Aria asked, "I guess taurs don't eat family. But I wouldn't know about that..." She got a little teary-eyed and went back to hiding behind a large pillar. Maybe he knows something that I don't know.

Ribbon grinned, straightning his spine. He knew his spot was invisible to them. If Rylin had been here, he would have been bragging about such a wonderful acheivement to his twin but such as was not the case, he kept his pride to himself.
Armaeo held back the chuckled that was building up in his throat. Centaurs are such fools! He started prying apart brush and weeds, looking in all the obvious places that a taur might hide.

Not having found a good place to hide, Ranikata decided to follow Armaeo and Naomi. Maybe if she was reeeeaaaaaally quiet, and stayed behind them, they wouldn't see her. She didn't think that maybe one would be facing one way and the other another way, just that her plan seemed good enough if they both looked straight ahead and never glanced behind.

Naomi smiled, "So we found two!" But she turned just slightly to see a tail sticking out of another bush, "Make that three!" She pounced lightly at Tariah and grinned, "Found yah!"
Now to figure out how to get Damien and the other syrin...She pondered looking from Armaeo to the pond again.

Surprised but happy mews jumped out of Tariah. "Ah ha ha! You found me!" She couldn't help but continue to giggle and grin as she joined the two searchers at the edge of the pond.

Aria got an idea from hiding. "Damien what If I just swim around? Plenty have said that they never noticed me because I look like the water!"
She smiled at her won idea as she swam carefully into the seaweed. "I think I'll be fine. Besides They're comming!"

Armaeo leapt into the air. " What in the the-?! " His heart felt like it was doing sumersaults. Digging his claws into the earth, he looked down and noticed the instrument he had just barely missed. " Oh, " sighing, he picked it up and handed it to the satyr, " Be careful with these things, okay? "
He looked into the pond and groaned. " We have to go in after them, don't we? "
Ribbon looked behind his 'cousin' and saw the little cattaur female. He grinned. She had the best hiding spot. Admitting defeat, he dropped his leaves and sauntered over to the main group. " Hows you goin's to get dem, 'Maeo? 'Nomi?"

"Aria!" Whispered Damien but it was too late and he had to retreat behind his pillar to hide. She'll learn of Naomi's and Armaeo's abilities soon enough...
Naomi grinned, "I guess so...because I don't wish to stir up a racket by using one of my tricks to get them out of hiding. Probably wouldn't work on Damien anyways...so..." She looked back at Armaeo, "You wanna wade in first or do you have another idea?"
Catori edged over with the group of taurs that had been found to watch as her sister and friends figured out how to get the syrins out of hiding.

Aria stifled the giggle that would make her bubble. They were going to have to come in sometime. And She would surprise them.
She swam slowly barely moving inching from the seaweed to the underside of the fountain. What was taking them so long?

Ranikata had to clap her hands over her mouth to stop the giggle that threatened to escape. She couldn't believe her plan of staying behind them was actually working! Of course, they were pretty focused on the syrins at the moment. She glanced around the room, wondering if she should find another hiding place while they were still distracted.

Ribbon trotted eagerly up to Rani and poked her in the shoulder. " You'll win for sure, " He whispered, taking a step back to watch the scene fold out.
Armaeo stretched his arms out behind his head, cracking each little bone as he went. Smirking, he snapped his neck to make a bone chilling crack. " I'll go after Damien. " He needed the challenge. Even as a young cub, he was ever the warrior. " You can get...." Now, what was her name? "..Ah! Aria. "
He padded over to the water's edge, then sped up into a full fledge strike attack before leaping into the water. As soon as his body hit the water's surface his cat-like body shifted into a syrin's tail. For a moment he couldn't breath and eagerly took great gulps as his gills appeared.
Taking shelter in the under growth, he silently searched.

Naomi rolled her eyes, "Of course he has to go to the extremes in finding Damien." She sighed and stretched backwards before diving into the water herself. Biting her lip she allowed her legs to be replaced by a deep brown fin that even in a disguise was odd looking for a syrin with odd fins and designs.
She dived in and began her search for the water colored syrin. 'I'll start in the seaweed as well...' With that she dived deeper and began her search...was that a tail?! She reached out and grabbed....something?
Blending in with the seaweed Damien felt the water ripple as their searchers came under. 'Figures, Armaeo would go after me...' He silently circled the magically changed cattaur and hid back in the shadows with a grin.
Catori whispered to the group of watchers, "How long do you guys think it'll take them to find 'em?"
