A small smile came to Raine's lips in response to his laughter. She simply shook her head as the King motioned to the artifacts of old and new littering the room in which made the swordsman nearly blinded.

"I'm afraid it's nothing of the sort, my liege." She stated lightly, extending one of her arms towards him with an open palm, as if to point at the King, but in a polite manner.

"They're more.. Common things, such as the weapon you are sporting on your hip." She hinted lightly.

The angel smirked as he heard the King speak of his unvast fortunes laying around the room. There was a chance that the King was completely clueless, yet, he was a King, he should know almost everything thats going on.

"So your telling me you have no clue who Durithill is.." The Lance weilder laughed. "And No Idea what the cursed items are?" Geoff stayed in one spot, leaning again the wall. The smile disappeared from his face as he mumbled.

"And they call you King."

After all the waiting, all the ploying, all the games, The Angel was going to be anything but polite.

"If they're common, then they're of no interest to me." the king replied lightly. "But they're obviously not common, or you wouldn't be here. So, why should I worry about these objects?" the king asked. Then he snapped as and his face lit up. "Durithill! I knew I remembered that name. He was that demon that lived before I was born. Called the 'Blood Drinker', unless I'm mistaken." he suddenly said, looking pleased he'd remembered something like that.

Raine paused, clearing her throat and shifting her position a bit. She was nervous and not happy with the sudden outburst from the lance-weilder. However, she too, was impatient.

"Y--Yes, that was him." She stammered slightly before straightening up and continuing. That was one of those names Durithill earned that she disliked, one of the names she would have preferred wasn't said at all, especially with her son listening.

"No, they are not.. 'common'." She mumbled in response, though she flashed a small smile before continuing.

"They're.. Important. Yes, quite important, to me especially." Shiero said with a nod before cluting her hands together at her waist.

"So you want me, the king of Firaset, so search for these objects for you?" the king said slowly. He then burst into laughter, doubling over in his chair. He tryed to regain his breath before speaking again. "Why would I bother? Unless, there's something good in it for me." he said, suddenly becoming serious.

Raine paused, her arms suddenly shifted to a folded position over her chest. She wasn't impressed at all.

"No.. I do not believe that's what I asked of you." The woman replied as politely as she could.

"I merely asked if you know any information on these objects, which I am led to believe you do." The weapon on his hip was the only thing causing Raine to press him for hidden details, sort of like reading the fine print on a document.

"And I already told you I know nothing of them. I don't know how many there are, what they look like. Hell, I don't even know what this 'curse' your talking about is. My knowledge of these 'artifacts' come entirely from you." the king said calmly, staring directly at Raine. He began giving out a bit of an annoyed aura, though neither his posture or eyes betrayed him. "So you're wasting you time and mine. Now, I have important things to look after. You know, things that actually pertain to me." he said, giving Raine a dismissive hand gesture, as if shooing her away. Raithill just sat and watched the whole process, bored now with looking at all the shiney things around the room.

The Angel scoffed as he became unglued from the wall and stepped towards the King. "What I have to say is simple then." The warrior looked around the room then back to the King. "Let me see that Katana of yours. That shouldn't be a problem, should it?" Geoff laughed to himself as he crossed his arms over his chest and waited for the King to reply.

The king drew the katana from its sheath and held it up so Geoff could have a good look at it. "Masterfully crafted, isn't it?" he said, examining it himself. "Made from a rather rare steel, and it has a custom fit grip. Cost an arm and a leg, I'll tell you that." he said, sliding the katana back into its sheath. "But if you're telling me this is one of the 'cursed artifacts', then let me ask you. Why would I keep it?" he asked with a laugh. "Now, I have better things to do then speak nonsense with you. So, if you'll please leave." And with that said, he gestured towards the door.

The Angel's eyes gazed upon the Katana as the King unsheated it. It looked amazing. "You would keep it because your clueless. You don't know that its a cursed weapon, because your hoping it isn't." Geoff stared at the King.

"One last question. Where did you get that Katana from, Or should I say Who?"

"Who?" the king said with a laugh. "I got it from the maker, of course. An excellent smith. Now, let me ask you one question before you leave." he said, grinning. "You say I would only want these cursed artifacts because I'm ignorant of whatever this curse it. Well, then what's your excuse? Because you seem to know quite a deal." he said, his eyes glittering like the fires of the realm.

Raine remained silent, though it should have been her to do most of the talking, she had a certain amount amount of fear that she would blurt the wrong comment, having also the King of the Fire Realm after the enchanted items as well.

"You highness..." She began slowly,

"These items are great importance to myself for personal reasons..."

"Do I need to spell it out for you?" the king said exasperatedly. "I don't care about you or these items. Now, leave my sight before I have my guards remove you."
"You're rude! And a liar!" Raithill suddenly blurted out. The king looked at Raithill as if noticing him for the first time.
"And who are you?"
"I'm Raithill." he replied, puffing out his chest slightly and poking his breast with a finger. "But I don't talk to lairs and meanies!"
"Well you're just a little brat, aren't you?" the king replied, looking very annoyed. Raithill, in turn, looked offended.

Pressing the palm of her hand on her son's shoulder, Raine's fingers curled around her son as she stepped forward, shifting him behind her defensively.

"Excuse me, you have no authority to speak to my son like that!" Raine had just about enough of this man. He was ignorant, rude and self-conceded. What he needed was a reality check. As the guards noted, there was a war going on, therefore, the city was lacking funds. Hmm.. Maybe a portion of the gold littered within chamber they were standing within could be used to support their troops... Perhaps this could go to the inhabitants of the realm?

"There is a war going on, and all you can do is sit around and admire your gold? If I was even to believe that weapon on your hip was crafted, clearly that was money wasted that could have been used for the benefits of the people in this realm!" Shiero was fuming, clearly not pleased with this man.

"As a matter of fact, these items are not even yours, are they? They were handed down from your ancestors! Oh, wouldnt they be pleased. You may be king, but you clearly don't make a very good one!"

"No authority?" the king repeated with a laugh. "I have all the authority I want! I'm the king!" He stood and spred his arms. "You think I'm ignorant of the fact that there's a war going on? How do you think I got so much gold?! I'm the one who started it!" he said with another laugh. He then suddenly drew the katana with a single hand and pointed it at Raine. "Now, remove yourself from my presense, or I shall do so myself!"
