~Dice~ Nuku-9, 7, 6 Fury-6 Kail-3 MB1-7 MB2-8 MB3-4 MB4-4
The Magic Beasts attack, delivering powerful blows to all. MB1 strikes Nukunuku for 10 points, following with 5 more from it's smash. Nukunuku retaliates with a flurry of blows, dealing 9 and 7 points, then summoning the Spirit Mouse for a team attack that does 14 points of damage, killing the beast outright.
MB2 attacks Fury connecting with a powerful swipe that does 9 points, and a Smash that does 5 more. Fury sends his Fist to drive it back, for 10 points of damage, While he and Dancing Sword concentrate on stopping the actions of MB3 and MB4.
MB3 and MB4 attack Kail, dealing 9 point each. The damage stops there, as the Stunning Blows of Fury and DC interrupt their Smash attempts. Kail unleashes his massive fireball once again, dealing 25 points to MB4, 5 points to MB3, and 6 points to MB2(since Nukunuku killed MB1), taking MB4 out of the fight.

Fury rapidly assesses the situation, and reacts accordingly. Seeking to protect his rapidly dwindling life, He assumes a defensive stance, to better resist the Beast's attack. To further mitigate damage, he delivers a stunning blow to MB2, blocking it's Energy burst. Finally, he sends in the Spiritual Fist, to finish it off. Dancing Sword once again moves to protect Kail, with it's own stunning blow to MB3.

Kail would have to remember to thank fury and his faith pet after this. He knew it was through his efforts that he was staying alive. To try and show his appreciation he casts a large blast of energy at the remaining Mana Beast. (MB4) He knew the battle would be over after this. Still, Kail could tell they were faring worse and worse after each battle. He wondered if they would indeed find this fountain before they all succumbed to the vicious attacks of the Mana Beasts.

~Dice~ Nuku-4, 6 Fury-1 Kail-4 MB2-9 MB3-12
The Magic Beasts press forward, seeking to take either Fury or Kail with them. MB2 is denied all damage, thanks to Nukunuku's Pounce, and Fury's Stunning Blow. MB3 fails to deliver it's Energy Burst, courtesy of DC's stun, but manages to hit hard with a vicious bite for 12 damage. Kail's defense reduces this by 4, leaving 8 points of pain.
Fury delivers a finishing blow to MB3 with the spirit fist, ending it's life.
Kail's Energy Burst obliterates MB3, leaving naught but ashes.
Nukunuku delivers a pair of follow up swipes, just to be safe.
Fury regenerates 3 points. Fury heals Kail for 5 points.
Nukunuku: 10/25 Fury: 17/25 Kail: 11/30
Searching the ground where the beasts died, you collect 7 charge coins.
Do you wish to continue?

Fury glances at his teammates, assessing the damage. "Well, I'm probably good for another round, but you two have seen better days. It might be wise to accept that discretion is better than valor, and call it a day. But, if you care to take a chance, I won't abandon you." Fury waits to hear his comrades reply.

Kail’igen stood there hunched over from his wounds. He was breathing heavily and was once again clutching his side where he had been wounded earlier. He also was bleeding a bit from the forehead where he had been hit in the last battle. “As much as I would like to continue, I believe fury is right. I don’t think I can take another hit from those creatures and Fury doesn’t have the healing to keep us both up. I suggest we head back and rest for a bit. Give our wounds a chance to heal. Then we can come back and continue our search for the fountain.”

The trio of adventures departs, 16 coins in hand. Perhaps one day they will return, but today the Fountain of Magic has proved their match.
(When you decided how you want to divide the coins, pm either me or FARGORE, and one of us will make the appropriate change)

Gerbo walked into the cave, intent on finding some of these "Charge coins" he had heard about.
"Hmmm.. I hope this is the right place..."
Gerbo said as he entered alone, waiting to take on any challenge that may befall him.

As you look about the cave, you notice strange patterns forming within the shadows that play along the wall. As you continue to watch, the patterns begin to gather into pools of darkness, forming 2 creatures of nightmare. As they swiftly take solid form, they begin to move toward you, their intent all to clear...
The Magic Beasts will attack and smash.
You may continue when ready.

"Well those beasties don't look too happy. Well lets see what the think about THIS!"
Gerbo said as he flung a small coin onto the ground. Instantly, mist errupted from the coin forming into a Mist Beast.
"Magical Beastie, Say hello to Mist Beastie!"
At the same instant, Gerbo grasped his pendant around his neck..
"Leo.. it looks like I could use some help here..."
In a flash of light, an armored man appeared weilding two aerodynamic blades, making it easy to whip them through the air at increadable speeds, shot forth as if from no where.
"Gerbo! I haven't seen you in ages! We should talk soon, but for now, lets take care of these beasts for you then!"
Said the man as he readied his attack against the beast.
Now the party completed, Gerbo charged up a ball of yellow energy and shot it at one of the Magic beasts, while Leo ran forward to attack the other with the help of Gerbo. The mist beast sat in the back, using its mist powers to charge up and attack the beast Gerbo had blasted.
(Gerbo: Stunbolt on MB1, dice for defense, you roll please, Attack MB2) (Leo: Use his 2 AP for aditional two attack(swords of haste) for a total of 4 all on MB2, dice for attack, roll again please) (mistbeast: Use living mist and Call mist, attack and magic attack both at MB1) (have fun with that!)
(Edit, since Misty is attacking MB1, I had Gerbo attack MB2 with Leo for a team up attack...forgot to get that in there, sry)

~dice~ Gerbo-1 Leo-12 Misty-0 MB1-1 MB2-7
The combatants clash in a flurry of claws, teeth, swords, and magic. Gerbo sends his stunbolt at MB1 denying it it's smash. MB1 attempts to retaliate, leaving a deep scratch along Gerbo's thigh for 4 points of damage, which is promptly reduced by one from Gerbo's defense dice. The stunbolt leaves it's mark as well, inflicting 7 points to MB1. Misty adds 2 points of spell damage from its Living Mist pushing the Magic Beast closer to oblivion.
Meanwhile, Gerbo and Leo combine their strength, for a team attack. Leo unleashes 3 powerful blows, for 5 points each, and a fourth aided by Gerbo, for 6 more. With his combat dice of 12, and Gerbo's attack of 6, the Magic Beast suffers a massive 39 points of damage.
Not willing to die without leaving a parting gift, MB2 strikes Gerbo hard with a claw for 10 points, and finishes with it's smash for 5 more points of damage. With that done, the Beast falls, returning to the shadows from whence it came.
Leo looks at his fallen companion salutes, and says "Farewell my friend," then disappears.
