Not the temperature change, as it would move away from the fire if it felt too hot.

He desperately runs around the town, trying to escape them, but they are catching up to him and will surely kill him. However, he finds an object that forces the specters to flee in fear. KK, so there is this dewd. He lives on the twentieth floor of an apartment building. So, on regular sunny days, he takes the stairs. And on rainy days he goes halfway up and walks the rest of the way. Why is this?
Also!
A man goes home from work, and asks his wife to get him some pop with ice. Before the wife gave the husband his drink, she let the child have a sip. She gave the husband his drink, and about an hour later, he died. What happened?

uhh... how can he go up the stairs halfway then walk the rest of the way? This doesn't make sense...
the child had chickenpox and the dad never had it as a kid? umm... one hour? The child was made of fast-acting poison, and was a robot!

Half of the stairs are outside? I would assume he was taking an elevator the other halfway up.

Maybe the father had some sort of allergic reaction to something now on the glass that the kid had had earlier...

The one hour bit is what's confusing. Not even ebola is that fast-acting of a disease, therefore it knocks out disease as a cause, and poisons really don't make sense in this scenario. It's kind of odd.

In the first one, he's really short, like a midget. He can't reach the button for his floor unless he has an umbrella, then he can go halfway up.
In the second one, there's poison inside the ice cubes. As the ice cubes melted, the drink would be poisoned. If someone, say a child, were to take a sip before the ice melted, it would be completely harmless.

Okay, you and me are neighbors and our houses have a fences between them. On my yard there is a pineapple tree but the thing is it's leaning towards your house. A pineapple falls onto your yard.
Whose pineapple is it?
