Derek just sighed, and looked up. "Lady, listen. In Ehll, time stands still. Your watch doesnt move at all. Every second on earth is an hour down here. Now, can you let us to finish our game?" He asked her. He looked to the other girl, and brought her over. "Ok, wanna learn how to play?" He asked her.

Remix looked at Derek as she was pulled back in the game
"um...sure...how do you play poker?"
she asked as she sat down on the chair beside his, she looked at the cards with confusion still, all she learned was how to get out of the game, and it's called "folding"

Derek pulled the seat close to him, and showed her the cards. "Ok, see this? This is my hand." He pointed to the 3 cards down on the table. Every turn, the dealer brings out a new one. You following?" He said, looking up.

Remix nodded to him as he told her a bit about the game, she looked at the cards in his hand and at the three cards on the table
"when does the dealer show the 3 cards?"
she asked as she looked at him.

Derek looked down. "Well, the dealer has to deal them face up." He noted. On the table, there was a 6 of clubs, a queen of hearts, and a 4 of clubs. "Now, on your turn, you can either make a bet, or raise a bet that was already called." he said to her.

Jessica nodded, shrugging off an irritated voice in her head.
"Thanks...I have to go now. Maybe I'll come again sometime, later."
She said as she walked out from the room again.
"They really do take it seriously."
She thought, still convinced that this was all a roleplaying casino or something. Right as she turned away from the door/wall/exit of the room, she bumped into a huge bull-like demon and fell down to the ground. It snarled at her and its fangs glistened.

Durban59 Derek looked down. "Well, the dealer has to deal them face up." He noted. On the table, there was a 6 of clubs, a queen of hearts, and a 4 of clubs. "Now, on your turn, you can either make a bet, or raise a bet that was already called." he said to her. "oh....okay...but what do you do when you lose the game?" she asked as she looked at the 2 cards faced down right in front of her, she picked them up and looked at them, placing them face down on the table again.

Derek looked. "Well, the only way to lose is if someone has a higher hand then you. You get a certain hand by having certain cards both in your hand and on the table." He said. "I've got a list of them wherever I go." He said, showing her the list. It read:
Straight-flush - five cards of sequential rank and the same suit
Four of a kind - four cards of the same rank and any other card
Full-house - three of a kind and one pair
Flush - five cards of the same suit
Straight - five cards of sequential rank order
Three of a kind - three cards of the same rank and any two other cards
Two pairs - two different pairs and any other single card
One pair - two cards of the same rank and any other three cards
High card - all other hands

she said as she picked up her cards and waited for whoever's turn it was

Derek smiled. "Satan, you know what to do." Satan brouight forward her own set of chips, and 2 cards were dealt to her. On the table, It showed a 5 of diamonds, a 4 of clubs, and another 5 of diamonds. In Derek's hand, He had a king of spades, and a 2 of hearts.

Jessica stood up and quickly mumbled an apology before she began to walk away. After a few minutes of repeating and circling around this place, she seriouslly got annoyed. Sure, she does have a bad sense of direction, but this was impossible. Where was the door? After going around a bit more, she growled in frustration and sat down on a barstool.

Derek saw her fold, and smiled. "Good choice babe." He revealed a 5 of culbs and a 5 of spades. "4 of a kind!" He said. War and Satan threw down their hands. "I'm out." Satan said to them.

Dragging all the chips on the table towards him, Derek smiled. " Well, the person whose hand is the highest wins the chips!" He said to her.
