"Woah!"
Reflexively, Samantha reached out to stablize the young girl. Poor thing almost fell right in front of her. Smiling, she asked, "Are you alright?"
Then, the welcome. "Err...I was aiming for Titania, Queen of the Faeries...but I suppose that works too," she muttered under her breath, thinking it was simple costume confusion. She wasn't exactly wearing a sign around her neck or anything.
Of course, little the girl said to her seemed to be making much sense. Frowing in puzzlement, she looked up at where Anya was pointing, spotting only a guard wearing what looked like cat ears and a tail...and the Charizard from earlier in a top hat and mask. What in the wide world of Pokemon...?
"I...I'm sorry. I'm not sure I understand. Anya, was it? It's an honor to meet you too." She smiled, a bit tiredly, but starting to question the wisdom of coming to this event...as well as her own sanity. "But, Mr. Wizard? Mr. Lion? What exactly are we talking about?"

Charcoal huffed at being left alone with the other humans but turned his attention to the man dressed as Gengar. He approached, sniffing and observing carefully. He poked at the costume with his claw then became uninterested. It was just a human. Next he turned his attention To Hayden.
She'd called him 'Mr. Lion'. So he wasn't the only one with an odd name that obviously didn't belong. However, looking at this boy, he found himself confused. Why were they all dressed up? Snorting, he trailed after Anya, after all he came to see her.

Fenrir grinned impishly at Kira's comment. "But of course, missus. I am pretty awesome." he laughed, ego swelling just a bit as he laughed along. Ah, this was always such a fun time of year!
Fenrir chuckled lightly at Anya's worries. Him? Hurt something? Yeah, right. Fen wasn't a terribly aggressive person...he'd be hard-pressed to attack someone, let alone a full-grown Charizard. He bowed deeply to both the girl and "Mr. Wizard".
"Don't worry, Miss Anya. I won't dare hurt your friend. He's done nothing to warrant it thus far." he said. "I was just playing. I bet Mr. Wizard is a spectacular sort."
He watched her flounce off shortly thereafter, heading towards a girl who had just entered, all gussied up like a Fae of some sort. Undoubtedly a friend. Ah, what a pretty costume, though. He wished he had wings like that...
Fenrir wasn't worried in the least as the Charizard approached him. He rested his hands behind his head, keeping relaxed. He allowed the large lizard to sniff and examine him, giggling a bit as he was poked at. Eventually, the large lizard ambled off after the girl, whatever curiosity he had in with Fenrir obviously sated. Fenrir wondered briefly if it has been his costume- surely it could have been that convincing. Maybe it was the smell...ah, at any rate, he was glad the Pokemon hadn't attempted to eat it. He worked hard on this costume, after all.
One might notice that Fenrir had shown a lot of boldness and fearlessness through that whole ordeal, though. He had seemed terribly unconcerned with the fact Charcoal could have roasted him to...well, charcoal at any moment. Most people would quiver at the site of such a large and fiery Pokemon, but Fenrir...ah, he wasn't like most people. Perhaps having such a connection with Pokemon and understanding had leant to his confidence and bravery when dealing with such creatures. Not to mention his official starter Pokemon had been a Charmander (though it hadn't yet evolved past the Charmeleon stage), which probably led him to be more respectful and less afraid than most of the Charmander evolution line. That, and Fenrir tended to be...stupidly bold at times.
As the dragon ambled off, Fenrir turned back to Kira. He pulled off his mask and let out a long breath, ever-smiling. "Heh, some candy would be bitchin' right now!" he said excitedly. As long as it's not candy corn...

Arianna frowned a bit and shifted, pulling on the dress lightly. What she woulden't give to just say forget it and go and change and be herself..but..She wasn't in the mood to try and pocket anything..and with her luck, they'd have nothing. She sighed and stood up, heading over near Anya and getting some punch. She was thirsty and it woulden't be worse then her 'Shot'....Right?

White eyes shifted from the Thyphlosion to the large Charizard that was standing with a number of humans. Why's he doin' that? the Raichu wondered silently. He didn't know of many Pokemon that would voluntarily converse with humans, especially not enormous fire lizards. Then Chidi's eyes drifted casually from the Charizard to the people it was chatting with. The grin returned steadily, a wicked glint in the rodent's eyes as he withdrew a few pieces of candy from his pocket.
"Hard candies," the Raichu mumbled to himself, "can get really sticky." He ran his eyes along the bottoms of the girls' dresses and the guard's tail.
"Hey," he said, now addressing Quil. "You wanna have some fun?"

Kira smiled and took off her white, elbow length gloves and shoved them into her chestal area to keep them from getting lost. "C'mon! We should hurry before all the good stuff is taken!" Her smile then turned into a mischievous grin. "We should stash a bunch of it for later too! I call dibs on any bouble gum and Candy corn!"
She hooked her arm into Fenrir's and pulled him towards the tables, holding her flowers in one hand and the dress up with the other. 'Argh, I need to get rid of this bouquet, it was a stupid idea to make one. It's just getting in the way....' she thought to herself, then looked up at Fenrir.
"So how old are you, and where are you from, and how did you get here? Can I call you 'Fenny' or 'Fen Fen'? Are you liking being here?" This was only the surface of her questions, she was going to get to know another person here, especially since she only knew Hayden, and her other two friends apparently weren't here at the moment.

"Thank you Glinda I am still working on getting me balance though my feet do not always listen to me but it is ok do not worry about it." she looked back and soon saw Charcoal behind her.
"This is Mr. Wizard he can breath firebut he has to watch out for flying monkies because they are evil and scarry and take people away. But do not worry I will protect you from the mokies." She looks at Charcoal and smiled and hugged him again.
"Mr. wizard I am sorry I left you over there I forgot that you thought that you did not know any one here besides me." she nooded. "Mr Lion can you come over here I want you to meet Glinda do not worry she will not hurt you I will make sure of that."

Quil was surprised out of his contemplation of the Charizard by Chidi's words... even if he only showed the startlement in a small jerk forward. The Typhlosion turned his head to focus red eyes on Chidi, and a sort of grin began to form on his mouth. Hey, maybe this rat wasn't going to be so very annoying after all..
"What kind of fun?"
Besides, he was bored.

Elea's attention was turned from gazing out into space by the girl next to her. She turned her head to face the other person, a bit surprised at being called Carrie. Though she never saw the actual movie the reputation behind it was pretty good. She didn't take into account that she looked like the actual crazed telepathic girl...
Well, you learn something new everyday.
"Thanks. Nice costume yourself." She said calmly, looking up and down of the other's outfit. Maybe she could have a good time after all, this had been the first time she'd spoken to any one aside from the guards and that crazy little girl Anya. Her attention turned towards a...pirate Raichu? A small smile tug on the corners of her mouth but faded quickly.
Even though the pokemon was dressed in a very cute way, she couldn't help but wonder what that Raichu and Thyphlosion were up to.

"Everyone looks so... happy. ...Wouldn't it be a shame," he said with a sigh, shaking his head in mock disappointment. "If something unfortunate happened to those pretty dresses?" At this statement Chidi unwrapped a bright red piece of hard candy. He studied it carefully, his eyes drifting from the crimson little thing to Quil.
"If we can sneak over there and get these things reeaall sticky," the Raichu grinned wider, "It would really liven this gathering up."

Quil didn't even bother holding back the snort that erupted from him when Chidi told him about the plan. How juvenile. How...
"That sounds... interesting." The only problem was... "But I can't sneak." The only problem was, Quil was over five feet tall.

Chidi studied the Typhlosion for a moment before shrugging.
"Well, I guess you're about twice my height," he said methodically, "so it should be twice as hard for you to sneak. Fortunately, it is incredibly easy for me, so I guess that would only make it mildly difficult for you."
The Raichu was obviously missing a few details in these calculations, but he remained oblivious. After a pause, he said decidedly, "You could just cause some sort of... distraction then. I assume you're good at that?" It was obvious that Chidi had his mind set on sticking candy to the peoples' costumes; why he wished to do this was a mystery, even to him. It wasn't well thought out, it would accomplish very little, and might cause more trouble for him than anything else.
He didn't question it.
"Yeah!" he said, leaping up slightly as the plan unfolded in his stange little mind. "You could just sorta go 'fwoosh' or something-" here he threw his arms up gesturing a large explosion, "or, or you could like, roar super loud," at this he leapt up, his fur bristled with excitement, "or-" He paused, now out of ideas.

Size be damned, this distraction idea was sounding better and better to Quil's bored ears- and hey, maybe if he did all that stuff, he'd get to actually fight someone? Preferably that Charizard, but he'd take what he could get.
The grin on the Typhlosion's face was real now, if not the least bit nicer, as he nodded along to the hyperactive little Raichu's ideas. "Or all of those." The fact that he would probably be put in solitary for a while after creating such a ruckus didn't seem to phase him at all. Indeed, the idea might not have occurred to him at all.
Briefly, he wondered where Bliss had gone to, but dismissed the problem just as quickly. She'd probably gone off someplace else after greeting him.

While the two Pokemon plotted, it seemed that other devious plans were already afoot.
People and Pokemon mingled in relative peace, if a bit tense in some cases...overall though, things seemed to be going well.
Then...
...the lights went out, plunging the entire cafeteria into pitch black darkness.

Chidi's first impulse was to run in circles wildly, but, having learned the hard way that zipping around blindly typically had very painful results, he decided against it. Instead, he stood totally still, trying to focus in the darkness.
"I assume you didn't do that, right, Quil?" Chidi said with a nervous chuckle.
