Namine looked thoughtful for a moment. "Im taking Art and design, Music, Japanese, English literature and im in the swimming, dance, and archery club. Im very much looking forwar to Music, Art, and Swimming." Namine played the flute, it was her favorite instrument. She would use it as accompaniment for her voice. Singing and music were as much a part of her as the sea she lived in. "Do you know where these classes take place? I would be much obliged for your assistance." Namine noticed the paper he threw away. "Im sorry to have destroyed your paper. May I replace it for you? As a thank you for guiding me?" Namine looked at him hopefully. She had damaged his property and didn't want him to be mad at her. In her excitement at meeting and talking with a human, she hadn't realized what she had done.

Marat brushed the hair out of his face whilst trying to remember where the Japanese class was. "Well i've taken both English Literature and Music myself so they wouldn't be hard to find. Um.. Oh yes i do know where your classes are." Marat always enjoyed playing the piano but composing was what he was best at. Now that he found out Namine was also a musician he acquired great respect for her. Marat shook his head lightly and smiled "Don't worry about it. But thanks for the offer. But you could help me with something.."

lizkotoisloco Margo peered at the number on the door marked twenty " Ah-ha! Magnifique! Thank you so much Mr.Kennedy I most likely would've been lost for years if you hadn't helped me." Margo saw the color on his face and became a bit worried. " Pardon, but if you don't mind me asking, are you feeling alright? You do have a strange color you know." She put the boxes she was carrying down in front of her door and felt the students face with her hand quite gently. " Hmm.." Margo remarked, her paternal side flowing over her " You don't feel warm at all. I suggest that you have some rest. All this new-school-stress may be getting to you. I'm afraid I have many things to unpack,so I won't be of much assistence. Im sorry." she grasped the knob of the door turning it, she picked up her boxes and entered the room. After placing the boxes in a corner on the floor she signaled Kennedy to put the boxes down on the same corner. Margo, however was preocupied from the view of her window. " C'est Increible" she whispered to her self as a nice breeze struck her skin. " What lovely scenery, truly awe-inspiring. Don't you think so Mr.Kennedy?" she turned around smiling as the wind blew the hair above her eyepatch, thus revealing it. Margo was in such bliss she hadn't noticed. Kennedy was still a little too flustered by his teacher's maternal demonstrations to take notice of her emotional gushing when she entered the room. Sure the academy dorms were nice and teachers' quarters even better than the students but you didn't see him turning to mush about it. He watched her come and go with a smile, thinking he was bound for a pretty interesting year in Literature when she suddenly turned to ask him something and he realized she was wearing an eye patch. His eyes widened with surprise. My teacher's a pirate...awesome! Kennedy couldn't help the smile that appeared on his face at that thought, especially with the many mischievous connotations of having a teacher who looked so cool. Oh yeah, interesting times at Chez Oceanice....

Margo stood in front of Kennedy and waved her hand in front of his face slowly and steadily. She had seen him spacing out a bit and wished to revive him to the common reality. " Kennedy? Mr.Kennedy? Are you sure you're feeling okay? You look a bit out of it. Would you like some water?" She was holding another book in her and which she had collected while Kennedy's thoughts were far away. The book was of literature, very fine literature as well. The books name was (( please note I'm making this up.)) " Flowers by the Dozen". She grasped it quite tightly as she spoke to Kennedy. " Would like some early literature study?" she looked around at the boxes and continued " I can always unpack later." she smiled soflty brushing her hair behind her ears.

Since the boy was apparently too envolved with his book, Star stood up again and started walking away. Then, she saw someone familier. or at least she thought. Is that...no...it couldn't be Namine.. Star quickly disapeared from her eyesight behind groups of people. Star sighed and started on her way inside.

Namine hoped they had at least one class together. He was the first person she had spoken to and she hoped they could be good friends. Namine was not accustomed to how everything worked yet. Since he wwas guiding her she decided to entwine her arm in his. Looking up at him she smiled and said " Ready whenever you are."

Kennedy blinked back to life and realized she was talking to him. Wow, talk about spacing out, He scratched the back of his head, face turning a healthy shade of tomato red as he sunk deeper and deeper into the pit of embarrassment. "Um Sorry I was just staring at your eye patch- I mean cool patch-erm..." Smooth Kennedy, you're a real class act. He shook his head hard, flyaway hair falling in all directions over his face and noticing the book, hastily muttered to hide his discomfiture, "Literature, awesome! Flowers by the Dozen sounds very enlightening." Anything other than having to explain Nero having his tongue.

" Why thank you , Merci" she said trying to acknowledge his compliment but stray away from the subject of the patch. She smiled as his face turned red, she could only wonder what he was thinking. A young, teenage boy having to be woken up by his teacher, it could' ruin' someones ego alright. Margo however was happy he had noticed the book finally, on his own. " Yes this is a very powerful story. This text very well may produce emotions that you have never had the honor of feeling." She closed her eyes and smiled still speaking. " I was exposed to the first literary peice that described love, pure love, one that would make almost any woman long to be close to the man she loves. Close to his arms, close to his lips, close to his feiry passion." She inhaled and exhaled opening her eyes with a dreamlike expression, " We'll be studying this book thouroughly in class this year. I was asking before you...went into that surely amazing thought, whether you wanted to study some now."

It was Marat's favourite place as some of the windows had a magnificent view of the school grounds, especially when the weather was as good as now. Marat realised that they were walking in silence for awhile and turned his attention back to Namine. "I'm sorry i tend to day dream sometimes. So what instrument do you play?" He couldn't think of anything else to say so instead prefered for her to do most of the talking if possible, whilst enjoying the warm feeling that engulfed him.

Namine awoke from her reverie at his question. She had been entertaining herself by looking at the wonderful things around her. "Oh..music is most wonderful. My love for it is unexplainable and its like breathing is to anyone, a necessity. The instrument I play is the flute. I love the notes that escape it and the way my fingers can move over it. I also sing in accompaniment to my flute. How about you? What instrument do you play?" Namine thought that maybe they could play music together. There were many times when her best friend would play an instrument and Namine would sing along to the music.

"I am more of a composer rather then a performer. I do play the piano but i was never professionaly trained, so i lack the skill that others obtain through schooling" It felt strange to find someone who was just as enticed by the art as him. But it was also a releif, as he sometimes doubted whether he was right to choose Music over other subjects. "Music is.. it gave me the bravery to overcome the obstacles that would brake me otherwise." He noticed that they now approached the music room and opened the door. "Here we are. After you." He held the door for Namine whilst noting that there were hardly any people inside.

Namine listened attentively to everything he said. She could understand what he was saying. "Music is in everything around us. The sounds brought together is what makes the melody. Im happy music is the medium that has helped you overcome your obstacles. Without music I could not survive." He would never know how true that statement was. As a mermaid she could not live without harmony, music, sound. It was in their blood. They approached a classroom and the sign read the music room. She watched as Marat courteously opened the door for her. "Thank you Marat." Namine rushed in noting all the different instruments in the classroom and the seating arrangements. "Wow!! This is amazing! So many different instruments." Namine ran around the room touching objects here and there. "This is magnificent I cant wait to start class!" In her excitement Namine began to sing. But there were no lyrics just notes. She tried to express the wonderment she felt. She stopped suddenly after remembering where she was. "Im..sorry I got carried away. Thank you so much for bringing me here." Namine was near a piano and ran her fingers across the key. "Maybe sometime you can tell me why you turned to music and what these obstacles were."

Marat was bewildered by what Namiene said, Could not survive? I wonder what that is about? but was soon distracted by her enchanting singing. The melody was lush but somehow subtle at the same time, perhaps because it came out subconsciously. Amazing voice! , he thought to himself. "It's fine, don't worry about it Namine. Besides, we should be in the same class and will likely work with one another. You have a lovely voice. Do you know what your range is?" Marat wasn't quite sure if he was ready to share his pain with anyone. But perhaps one day..

Namine smiled. "Oh.. I think it would be wonderful to be in the same class as you. Working together would be an added bonus. I may be presumptous in saying this but since you are the first person I've met, I have begun to think of you as my friend. Will you be my friend? I promise not to make a nuisance of myself." Namine then thought about his other question. " Thanks for the compliment but what do you mean by range? She thought she knew but preferred to let him tell her in case she made a fool of herself.

Kennedy felt a bead of sweat form on his temple and roll down his brow before hitting his collarbone as he stared at his teacher, who was animated, even for a literature teacher. Something about watching her talk about arms and lips and passion with that dreamy expression, and wearing that eye patch was weirdly...hot. What the- He jerked back to earth, wondering where that errant thought had come from. Down boy! Teachers, especially our subject class teachers are not hot. Even if they could be mistaken for students and look like a pirate...It took Kennedy another millisecond to realize she'd relayed a questioning thought to him and his face took the brunt of his embarrassment, turning an interesting shade of rose. Yep...emotions he didn't think he wanted the honor of feeling. Mercifully his vibrating blackberry device saved him from responding at once and he ducked away with a hurried apology to take the call.
