Sometimes but for a majority of the time if you really think about it.... They almost always do suck. o.o I dunno why it's just the norm maybe? xD

Actually some of the freebies aren't too bad. I mean I'm holding a book that was a freebie and it looks decent on my avi. The doves were a freebie and they looked alright. Although funny thing is maybe in the future some of this will be worth a good amount.

Ty Ty Yes but it would be much easier if given enough time to earn a lot though. And you really want elemental wings seiph? You look so pretty and white! theres a white theme going on here! Thanks Ty! I actually was trying to aim a long the lines of angelic/celestial avi...although if I were to get the cheapest halo (mythril halo) then I would have to spend another 68K. Hmm...avi's that are nice looking require a lot of money.

Well technically the doves were from an event and the event items generally are a little better quality versus the free crap you get from a sponsored item. Mainly I think is because you kind of have to participate or do something for the event items versus watching some dumb movie trailer or answering a questionnaire thing.. xp
And a lot of the event items of old are very valuable however the new sponsored items are not very popular or valuable. ^^;;; It kinda makes you not want to bother getting them. However over I imagine A LOT of time, they might become more valuable... *shrug*
Also the nicer looking avatars are most likely very old Gaians or they just spent a lot on MC and sell them up the ying yang. XD Nice avatars don't always have to consist of expensive items though. 3nodding
Oh, and congrats on obtaining the wings btw. 3nodding heart

I honestly think any avatar can look amazing without breaking a budget, it just depends on how good you are with matching things.

Thanks, but for some reason all the avis I want are more then 50K since a lot of items recently require gaia cash. I actually used to have a coco, but that was before I got hacked. I had a ninja headband too as well as that one kitsune mask.
I just gave up after that since I don't want to spend that much on gaia if it can be just as easily hacked away. I've seen too many people have that happen to.
I know this might sound mean, but I don't trust gaia's system so I never keep huge amounts of gold on this account. Instead I put it on my mule since no one would think it has gold.

Pffft, I barely have 5k on this account... Mainly cuz I don't have a shop anymore so I don't make golds anymore... xD;;;; But I guess I would be pretty upset if I ever got hacked too though, I know I've got quiet a bit on this one... ^^;;;;

More than likely it helps but yeah there are also people who do phishing which is how I believe most peoiple get hacked... That and it is often also someone who knew them or had some sort of contact with them.
