Abel was not planning to stick around for a drawn out fight, he had much better things to do. Of course he had his priorities in order and new what he had to do next. After taking out a few more guards he tired of the monotony of it. He had a feeling that things with Khane were going to resolve themselves eventually, though he would step into help. What he wanted though was his money. Sure he had a vast amount of wealth, but it was the principle of the matter.
"Goldwind, if you are still aware that I am here then know this. I will get my money, one way or the other."
The first step of his plan was in motion, now came the hard part. He ran as close to one of the groups of cyborg guards as he could and dispatched of all of them but one. He put away his weapons and stuck out his hands.
"Take me to the top floor, I believe your boss would like to see me soon."

Rikka gasped, her stomach churning with sickness. If they had ever been alive, any hint of human emotion, she felt terrible for them. Even if they had never had such feelings, she still felt pity. Nothing should be killed in such a brutal way; never.
"What horrible monster did this?" Rikka question. She fell on her knees and covered her head. "I can't go anymore! I want Ryuu, I'm so scared! Ryuu please come help me! I can't do it by myself anymore!" Rikka pressed herself into a tighter ball, shacking with fear and crying uncontrolably for Ryuu.
"He's never coming back," Risa said. "Ryuu is gone, if not dead. Deal with it, and keep on moving unless you want to die. I don't have time to waste with someone as weak as you Rikka. So, move or I'll leave you here." Risa was so focused on killing Khane herself, she had lost any sense. She cared not if Rikka lived or died; as long as she accomplished her mission to kill Khane she was perfectly happy.
Risa turned sharply on her heal, and rushed down the hallway jumping over the dead Labrynthus, forgetting that her twin had ever existed. She was going to fight that Khane again, and she was going to win. She wasn't weak, and she was going to prove it to him one way or another.

((Summoner, Matt, Jessie, Sage, Winter)) " Tic tOc.. It runs through the maze... we slide through the walls... Gehinyahahahahahahahahheheheeeheeeeeeeeewhoooo Are you?" Cthulhu cackled in his normal fashion... insanely... and stalked his new prey. aw insanity floated out from his eye sockets, heavy and gaseous, covering the ground behind him in a great dark purple fog. He floated out in front of Risa, great flashes of white light appearing in her vision, Khane stood triumphant over her bloody shell of a body for an instant, Rikka screamed as she was impaled on a pike in the next.Cthulhu closed in on her, slowly, carefully... then quickly, his speed and direction changing at random moments. Another white flash and the world was burning, demons and devils raping and slaughtering as they pleased, angelic corpses scattered on the ground, battered and broken, being used for sport. The cackling continued as Cthulhu continued to advance... eying Risa's brain hungrily.--- The remaining stood there shaking, pointing his gun at the now surrendering Abel. He tried to process what just went on and failed horribly... deciding that the best idea would be to simply take Abel to Mr.Goldwind as ordered, and then go clean out his armor with the hope that he didn't stain it when he s**t himself. He placed a pair of handcuffs, simply out of procedure, on Abel, and led him into a special elevator that went, without security clearance, all the way to Mr.Goldwind's office. The guard stepped out, saluted, and pushed Abel forward into a chair, which locked him in and spun him around to face Mr.Goldwind, who was holding a rather large sheet of paper."Evening Abel... Know what this is? A Monologue" --- The Gun Drones went off line, the EMP destroying their internal circuitry. This however did not stop the napalm in the area from continuing to burn away the concrete, nor did it stop the tornado of bullets from closing in on Shiia slowly, now able to penetrate the bubble shield around her.
The loud speakers of the building kicked in."Once again there is Pain I bring fire - I bring Cold I'm the Blood Red Sandman, coming home. On this unholy night I will make you my own. Blood Red Sandman Coming Home, again."--- The living metal hardened almost instantly, taking on the properties of Adamantium, causing the dagger to ping off the surface harmlessly. It's weapons changed again, becoming a pair of 'Goo-Guns'. These guns opened fire, spraying a bright pink goo that solidified on whatever it touched, effectively immobilizing most targets. The Adeptus Labrynthus had pulled out its main weapon, a Gauss Cannon, a gun that pulled the target's atoms to the gun at an incredibly high velocity, creating a 'flaying' effect as the target is stripped down layer by layer.--- There was a clear sprint to the elevator, which opened in front of Erica, closed behind her, and waited, it's cylindrical solid steel insides waiting for her to select one of the many floors available to her. This was simply far too easy... but so was the way she 'beat' those 5 gun drones... so who knows... maybe it is just that easy.

Abel smiled, his plan working better than he had hoped. Sure he would have to listen to an idiot speak for a while, but it was a small price to pay for the reward.
"Oh a monologue you say? Wow must have taken you a while to write it. Tell me you sure its complete or do you want me to read it over to check for typos? I know that you never were able to make a proper speech, I always had to spell the stuff out phonetically for you. So how about another go at it, for old times sake?"
Abel was just screwing with the guy at this point. He knew that he did not have many options at this point, but he intended to make some as soon as the talking began.

You know, you never notice something is too easy until its far too late.
Erica cleared the sprint and jumped into the elevator. Down. Erica's nerves told her, and so she did, holding her gun apprehensively as she rode down.

Van was knocked back by something. He shoved it off of him and started to dodge the pink goo. He was starting to get in too deep. Things were becoming too hard and his body was starting to scream from the pain. He looked around for someway out. Any way out.
Terri moved out of the way of some of the goop. She had no idea what was going on but it was insane. "Uh Grim?" The golem was still on her shoulder not even bothered by the turmoil.
s**t. Things had just turned from bad to worse for Van. Now he had to get out of there with Terri safely. He reached over to her and plucked the dagger from her hand and attached it to the other end of his chain. He felt fully armed now and almost invincible. The he saw an elevator with its doors shut. "Skully I can't really talk right now so I'm just going to ask you to be patient with me." With that he threw her over his shoulder and ran for the elevator door dodging the goop left and right until he reached the metallic doors and shove one of the daggers into it carving out a hole and pushing her in and jumping in right as the goop hit the hole and sealed it shut behind them.
Terri was so confused at that moment. She was in an elevator and headed down to somewhere. "Grim, what the hell is going on?" The golem was still some how perched on her shoulder.
"Skully it's a long story." Van sat in a corner of the elevator and rested a bit. Pain was evident in his eyes, every breath was heaved. "Have to find this guy to find this girl."
"I see." A sly smile weaved across Terri's face. "Grimy's in love. How cute." The golem nodded in agreement.
"Shut the hell up."

Risa whriled around, forgetting that she had left her one weapon with her worthless twin. "Damn," she thought. Her eyes still burned with Khane's little enhancement on her, and she began to find a pattern in whatever the hell it was' movements. "By the powers inside me," Risa whispered. "I swear to banish you back into the shadows you were born from."
Risa quickly traced a cross on her chest, before she stood ready. She had to find out where that thing was going to go, and stay just that two seconds ahead of it. "Whatever you are, you're in my way!" she shouted. "Go feast on something else's brain, why don't you?"

((Jessie is getting on my nerves, so for now I'm ignoring her lack of existence. Order goes Summoner, Sage, Winter, Matt, Khane))
Cthulhu giggled, and then did the scariest thing of all, he concentrated. His multi-tonal voice flooding through Risa's mind. None of it made any sense, and what did was mind boggling. Syntax was completely abandoned, logic and reason had packed up and left town weeks ago. The world around Cthulhu seemed to warp into something out of the mind of Salvador Dali on a REALLY bad acid trip, floors melded with walls, new dimensions of reality were explored, entirely new colours, beyond the visible spectrum of light exploded into reality and then died, screaming into the abyss. The passing of time too seemed to change. The hallways flashed real, sometimes what they looked like before, pristine, sterile, and then they would flash to the carnage of now. Reality, to say the least, had taken a dirt nap, being replaced by the absurd.
---
The elevator sat still, the lights were off. This was not the correct elevator to reach the nexus. It would take you as far as the parking lot. Elevator music played softly in the background, humming along with the metal casing of the elevator it's self, vibrating from the battle outside.
The Gun Drone came up on he elevator, the Goo-Guns turning into mini-guns. It opened up on the elevator shaft, the 10,000 RPM guns unloading into the confined space.
---
The cylindrical elevator dropped again, musch as it had done with Rikka and Risa, hitting 500km/h, and then stopping suddenly at the bottom. The doors opened up, revealing the hallway that Rikka was left crying in, dead bodies and all.
---
Goldwind started reading from the piece of paper. It was an excerpt from the most singularly terrifying novel known to the universe. A smutty romantic novel written by Margret Thatcher and Oprah Winfrey, a novel that was banned from sale under the Geneva Convention's Humane Psychological Warfare Act, the chair not only prevented Abel from moving, but it amplified the experience by used of a Visualization Screen, that Abel was forced to watch, bringing the words to life as images.
---
Khane regained consciousness from his last attack on the Gun Drones. He looked around the room... and went wide eyed. There was another tube next to him, with an almost perfect double of him inside, except that it had pure white hair, and looked to be a little less human... having longer teeth some scales, and a more feral look about him. Then it woke up, and looked over at him, matching his gaze. And for once, Khane knew what it was like to have a true rival.

The little golem on Terri's shoulder jumped down with out a word from her or a thought and started to grow. Terri was amazed yet a gain by her creation as it formed into a hulking colossus with a tower shield in one arm and a long sword in the other and blocked the bullets without even flinching before smashing open the elevator doors. When it stopped growing it stood at fourteen feet. The giant stone figure started to attack everything in sight.
Van could barely stand up and soon was back on the ground, "Skully, what is that thing?" He had never seen anything like it before and the fact that he was protecting them was even stranger. His legs burned with pain at that moment, "Please tell me you have something that'll help with these legs."
Terri had no idea what this thing was to her it was a pet but obviously it had been meant to be more. No wonder that it had worn her out so much when she had made it. "Uh yeah." She reached into her messenger bag and pulled out an ointment that would relieve the pain and slowly heal his injuries. She applied the ointment tenderly being careful not to hurt him more.
Van nodded and took his guitar in hand. He started to play a bit and the chain snake out and around the golem in order to engage other foes it was difficult with out the aid of the magic pick but it would have to do for now. Maybe the golem could take the drone or at least hold it off until Van was back on his feet again.

((Dont' worry Winterborn, I wouldn't kill Khane! biggrin I doubt anyone could!))
It felt like the ground was made of jello, and Risa couldn't move an inch. She would try to take a single step, only to be overwhelmed by the visions. The horrible carnage, her own body managled and splattered against the wall, and Rikka . . . and Rikka too.
"Dammit," Risa swore, trying to contain everything in her mind. She was going mad; she was going completely crazy. She was going to die in the horrible place and there was not much she could do about it. Oh well, she wasn't going to go down without a fight. She was still alive, she could still find a way to escape this living hell. "I command the power of the divine," Risa growled. "I have powers that Khane has given me. I can win this!" Risa pulled her arms outward, extending her fingertips. White ribbons fromed around her arms, composed of light and white magic.
Risa looked at Cthulhu, following it with her eyes. She was getting used to the two seconds into the future thing, and it was just a little more than helpful. "Here I come!" Risa whipped her arms around, the ribbons shooting forward towards Cthulu, tearing gouges in the floor, walls, and ceiling.

Abel's eye went wide when he realized just what Goldwind was reading. The kind of laws this guy was breaking just to torture him really showed how much power the b*****d had. This was torture to its greatest extent, and if he wasn't already crazy, this would definately complete the job if it lasted any longer. The problem was that Goldwind had him trapped fairly well. His weapons were gone and he had no idea where they were. The chair was definately rigged in some way, or else he would have had a gun drone near by. The problem was that unless he knew what kind of trap he was dealing with he would not be able to save himself.
"Know this Goldwind when I get out of this, and I assure you I will. I promise to make your death as painful as possible. But before that how explain to me, why take Khane? Isn't he much more trouble than he is worth? I mean just travelling with him took everything out of me. You know you can't control him, so what is it that I m not seeing?"
If he could get Goldwind to tell him at least some parts of his plan then he might be able to stall him long enough to get out. Though he was fairly sure that he would not be able to use his cybernetics to their full extent, since he had already tried and failed to disengage his sight and hearing.

Erica, found the ride not only amusing, but all the while relaxing, jumping up and down and dancing within the split second. She was happy, until she hit the ground.
Luckily, her platform boots absorbed most of the shock, and she only warbled a little bit, but quickly regained balance by the time the doors opened.
"Goddammit." She said while brushing off her skirt. She knelt, picked up her pan and then reached for another one of her handguns. She loaded the pistol, then walked out. The decorations were cute. lots, and lots of dead things. Sadly, it smelled nasty to her sensitive nose. It was one thing outside with the flowing air, but here it was horrible, and brokedly annoying. She walked forward, hopping over the dead annoyances, then walked to where she heard the insane giggling. "Khane?" It didn't sound like him, but the insanity might have possibly been him. With the possible thought of hope, Erica's defenses lowered themselves as she walked towards the noise.

Rikka whirled hearing another girl, cocking an arrow in Risa's bow without much thought. She hated being left behind, but she was afraid of what could possibly be waiting farther down the hallway. After all, something had killed the soldiers and she really didn't want to have her brains torn out and smashes against the wall.
She lowered the bow when she saw that it was only another girl who had appeared, and she wondered how she had gotten down the elevator shaft, but she decided to contemplate it later. "Oh," she exclaimed, lowering the bow. She had exclaimed in such a way, that she had almost expected Erica to be coming down that hallway in only a few more minutes or so. "I thought you were something else," she said, in a voice that did not mean to sound insulting. "Do you have any idea what's going on? My sister keeps going on about this Khane, and you seem to know him too. I guess that he must be down here in this basement. Although my sister seems more focused in fighting him than actually getting him out of this basement. If he lives down here, which I doubt, then I guess I'm not all that surprised that's she's come this far."
Rikka smiled just a little at Erica, knowing that she was blathering on about nothing. She was trying to calm her nerves, and focusing on Erica instead of her sister down the hall running into something mean and foul was more than helpful. "I guess I just explained things to myself," she admitted, with a little bit of embarassment. "I'm mostly just afraid of this darkness, and the fact that my sister forgot her bow. I wish that Ryuu was here, then he could go down there and give this to Risa, and I know he would be alright. I think I would start to worry about him too, just as I worry about Risa. "I am sorry about rambling now. If you would like, I'll be quiet now," Rikka finsihed, before she pressed her lips together in a firm line. Her eyes widened slightly; large and dark in the darkness.

((Sigh, jessie needs to learn what the word Post means... and to think shes a mod xD Order up: Summoner, Matt, Sage)) Cthulhu giggled as the ribbons cut him up. He took some of his own blood and sprayed it in a wide arc at his prey. If it made contact, even slight, it would cause the Cthulhu Syndrome. A horrible disease that melts the flesh, and destroys the mind, causing a maddening urge to consume the flesh of those around you, as well as making you hyper-sensitive to the thoughts of others, unable to block out the thoughts of anyone within a fair distance. Unable to tune out, unable to filter, unable to distinguish your own from theirs.
Reality had since snuck back into the room, hoping not to be noticed as it added even some level of sanity to the surrounding area.
---"You see... Khane is what artists refer to as a 'happy accident'. I am sure you have met Project Necros, Khane's 'Brother'. He was powerful enough, but his power levels were finite. We have other projects... but they all lack one key element, that Khane seems to have in spades. Adaptability. Necros for instance can destroy anything he needs to with that brain of his... but that's all he's good for. Khane can destroy on the same level as Necros... but he also has the ability to heal. To Run. To think and react and change as the situation dictates. He doesn't need a plan, he simply acts, and the rest figure's it's self out. We don't want to keep Khane, we want to kill him, and rebuild him in a less volatile form. That is what you aren't seeing you close minded hunk of junk. You of course will be melted down for scrap metal after I finish torturing you.... Now shall we continue. Since my excerpt from that little horror novel is over, I do believe it's time to take a break and read you a PETA pamphlet..." Goldwind grinned, and pulled out a Peta Pamphlet, and began reading.
---
A large mechanical entity had been detected in Sector A-2, a heavy wing had been sent to deal with it. The five heavy gun drones rolled up, deploying. These ones were new. Extra-reinforced armor plating, six arms as opposed to two, Treads, hover capabilities, an energy sheild, and an AI processing unit. One that would adapt, think, plan, and more importantly, work as a unit with the other four drones in it's wing. The lead one sat square in front of the golem, laying down suppressing fire from two rocket pods, and four chain guns. The other two took flanks, coming around the side of the golem to deliver a full broadside, consisting of four rocket pods each, and two rail cannons.
