"I spent a lot of time in the kitchens. The 'fridge is always being restocked with the weirdest stuff." She frowned and picked up the wrapper to toss it into the trashcan. "Odd isn't it?" Maybe uncle raken was right. Maybe there was...another place...right under their feet. She shuddered. How creepy.

Azure shrugged his shoulders, he really didn't like thinking about these kind of things. They led him to too many questions that he could no longer explain with magic. "That is odd, but maybe there's a pae who does it. Like maybe that's there power." It there was a pae who can do that, it'd be an odd power, but at least it stopped himself from questioning it further.

She thought about it for a moment before nodding happily. "Yes, yes, that makes loads of sense! There are all sorts of little powers, like Uncle Dameon can make himself slippery." Another nod. Perfect sense, of course.

Azure smiled happily, he figured it might only make sence to him, but he was glad it made sence to Adora too. "Good, because thats all I've got." Azure laughed. "Yeah lots of little powers..." Azure still didn't know what his power was, but it was only because he never realized that was his power when it happened.

"Some really big ones too. Like Uncle Rakens shadowy animal things. I think mines more towards the little though." She smiled coyly, her nose just picking up the aroma of the baking cookies. They smelled wonderful.

Azure breathed out. "I'm not too much of a fan of Raken's power." he said with a small scowl on his face. Nope, those shadowy animal things had gotten him into some trouble. Azure could also smell the cookies, and that made him grow even more impatient to take them out of the oven. "Are they almost done?" Azure asked lifting his nose to smell the cookies some more.

"I like it as long as he doesn't like, conjure up something that could potentionally eat me." She giggled then and flicked on the oven light to peek inside. "And not if you want to eat half-baked cookie mounds!"

Azure deceided not to mention that Raken had conjured up one of his little shadow friends to spy on him and Dyas. He wondered for a moment if Adora knew about their kiss, but he wasn't stupid enough to ask her a question like that. "Oh darn." Azure sighed as he peeked into the oven over Adora's shoulder. "They smell ready anyways."

"They do smell good, but they'll taste even better in a bit." she reached up over her shoulder to tap him playfully on the nose with a finger, laughing. "And since its just you...and me...we don't have to share them."

Azure smiled. "Not sharing them is kind of nice..." he agreed as his eyes watched Adora with a steady gaze. "Just you and me." It was an interesting thought, he would've never expected to be like this with Adora. Then again, he had never expected to develop any sort of feelings for Dyas. Anything unexpected seemed to happen to Azure. "Wait a second... I have to share with you? I thought the cookies were all for me." Azure teased.

"Oh but Azure, you'll get a tummy ache with how sweet you already are." She spoke impishly back, taking hold of a big mitten and just holding it as she waited. One could think it odd now, how they could be like this...when friends for so long. But Azure was one of her first friends...no, he was her very first friend, back when she thought a giant blueberry was attacking her. Things just felt...smooth to her, a very different feeling then when she was with Rain. Part of her felt bad for Dyas...but..they were just friends. Azure told her that he didn't love Dyas so...it wasn't like she was tearing them apart, just keeping them together. She slipped the mitt on. "Don't worry though, I'll be more then happy to sacrifice my stomach for you." Another wink, a grin on her lips.

"Yeah, you're probably right." Azure thought about what he had just said, it sounded less humble then he was. "I mean about getting a tummy ache from eating to much." Azure quickly added with a laugh. Azure shook his head from side to side, "You won't need to. I'll be nice and share with you, but no one else." Azure ran his hand through his hair to ruffle it up some and then returned his gaze to Adora. "Now are they done?" he asked after she put on the gloves.

"Aw. So kind." She lifted her uncovered hand to kiss two fingers and press them to his cheek. "I feel almost special." Her grin broadened and she opened the oven with a nod. The mitted hand went in and pulled out the pipping hot thing of cookies, warm and smelling heavenly. "Yeah...they're done."

Azure's lips parted slightly as he blushed. The pink tone that was now familiar to his face rising to his cheeks. "Uhm right." Azure spoke as he quickly shook his head to knock himself out of whatever trance he had fallen into. "You should feel special, you are..." Azure followed Adora to the oven and stood straight next to her. "You did great." He said after smelling the cookies. Azure leaned in and kissed Adora softly on the cheek.

Her emerald eyes widened as she gently blushed, the edges to her body blurring a bit before coming steady again. Adora set the thing on the stove. "...Thanks." She leaned over to tenderly kiss his cheek back, slower then him in pulling away. The hybrid smiled softly as her lips left him, feeling quite warm inside. "You're one of a kind Azure."
